“You almost got away. God bless you for trying. ” - Sebastion Lewis

“Patty was my sister. I am from Springfield, Ohio, where Patty was born and reared. She lived here with her family until they all followed Jim Jones to Ukiah. I will always remember her as a beautiful and loving sister who thought she was doing the right thing. ” - william j. chaffin

Memories of My Sister Patty Parks ” - William Chaffin

“I wasn't born until 1981. However, I have seen every documentary, listened to all the transcripts, and read some books about Jonestown. The one thing that sticks out to me is the look on your face on the last video you were in. You can see the absolute terror and fear in your eyes. I think you truly knew something bad was going to happen. I cannot imagine what you must have been feeling that day. Your daughter Tracy grew up to be a beautiful strong woman. I don't know her but I've seen a few documentaries that she and your husband are in. God Bless you. You were so close to making it to freedom. Rest in Peace!” - Dianna Jones
