“May you rest in peace, cousin! I remember rushing down to SFGH because we got a telephone call saying you had been stabbed. The Doctors told me you were lucky because you were cut so close to the juglar vein. I remember thinking our eldest cousin and he was crippled with polio ,although that never stopped you from doing anything, is going to Guyana and I was happy because it was better than you going to prison. Well, cousin it wasn't better than you going to prison. If you had of taken the time instead of Jim making a deal for you to leave the country you probably would be here today. God had other plans for you though. Well, at least at this time your mom Dorothy Daniels and your brother Melvin Johnson are with you now. I truly miss you all, may you all enjoy the blessings in heaven. Love, Shirletha PS. We only have one member left in your immediate family Steve Daniels Jr. he is doing well considering he lost his whole family in Jonestown. XOXO ” - Shirletha Holmes
