The following links will take you to over 70 black and white photos that were taken by residents of Jonestown in 1977 and 1978. They were recovered after 18 November 1978 by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation and are available from the FBI through the Freedom of Information Act.

To save time and space the photos are grouped according to subject matter, and appear as thumbnail pictures. To see the photo in a larger size, simply click on the thumbnail picture.

If you recognize individuals you know, and can identify them by name, please contact us with the photo identification number, and the name or names of the persons photographed. We can then place captions, instead of numbers, under the photographs. Contact us at remoore@mail.sdsu.edu.
