This tape recording was located in Jonestown, Guyana, South America, and was turned over to U.S. Officials in Guyana and subsequently transported to the United States.

On May 24, 1979, Special Agent (name deleted) reviewed the tape numbered 1B68-5 (5 inch). This tape was found to contain the following:

A radio broadcast where JIM JONES is curing people.

This tape recording was located in Jonestown, Guyana, South America, and was turned over to U.S. Officials in Guyana and subsequently transported to the United States.

On May 24, 1979, Special Agent (name deleted) reviewed the tape numbered 1B68-1. This tape was found to contain the following:

What appears to be a Russian language lesson.

This tape was reviewed and nothing was contained thereon which was considered to be of evidentiary nature or beneficial to the investigation of the murder of Congressman RYAN.

This tape recording was located in Jonestown, Guyana, South America, and was turned over to U.S. Officials in Guyana and subsequently transported to the United States.

On May 24, 1979, Special Agent (name deleted) reviewed the tape numbered 1B68-12. This tape was found to contain the following:

A congratulatory speech by a female visitor to Jonestown identified as CYNTHY’s mother on the first few minutes of the tape. This is followed by JIM JONES critizing [sic] two boys for killing insects. JONES comments that, "I heard some Congressman wants to come here. I think I’ll tell him to stick it!" The tape concludes with JONES giving the basketball team a pep talk for their upcoming tournament in Georgetown.

This tape was reviewed and nothing was contained thereon which was considered to be of evidentiary nature or beneficial to the investigation of the murder of Congressman RYAN.

The tape begins with an unknown male who states, "He’s fine, he’s alert. He’ll be on his feet tonight. Our enemies can’t kill him … he’s gonna get all our enemies. If he has to hire the Mafia he’ll get our enemies."

JONES comes on and says, "I’m disturbed with a traitor … who stole our money … Traitors caused my heart attacks . . . Our enemies will die … All enemies will die - every last one of them."

The rest of the tape is pop music.

JIM JONES also talks about the runaway he (JONES) states that the runaways will no longer be looked for by the workers of the land, that all runaways will be handled by the military.

JONES further talks of the miracles he has performed.
