From what I was told by a relative of the man's parents who were told to me to be Odie and Edith Jones both of whom are dead now and lived long lives. It is a town tale that many reporters showed up to ask Odie and Edith questions about their son and his connection to the Jonestown situation, however from what was told they denied any access. I would just like to know more of this man and his family and if the tale is true. My life was changed by what happen as my sisters. Pam and Sandy also. My dad was a man that loved all people. My dad was a humble man. Slow to anger. I am about the same age that my dad was when his life was taken from him. four months before he was taken I was with my dad in Indianapolis and told him how much I loved him. His eyes filled with tears told me he would send for me. I remember standing up in church telling Jim Jones he was a fake. As he clamed to heal someone that day. I thank God for the power to proclaim the truth of Jesus and why he came to earth and gave up his life for all that will turn to him. My dad is in Heaven now. My dad was led astray. The seed had already taken root. That is why my dad was there. He wanted to know more. My dad was covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. And I will see him again in Heaven. Some days I am overwhelmed with grief and at times I wish I had been there to. All I have of my dad’s is two wood crosses he made in grade school.
