“Rita Cordell had her mother's calm and steady nature. Rita looked so much like her cousin, Julie, it was hard for me to tell them apart. Barbara Cordell was always surrounded by children, usually not just her own, but their cousins as well, who were around the same age range. Jamie Lawrence became part of their family after being born to Marie Lawrence. Marie L was pregnant with Jamie when she lived in Calpella with Dick and I, and Curtis, Tim Carter, and her other children, Wobbie, DeeDee and Nicky. She left Jamie in Barbara Cordell's care, and moved with her three other children to SF when we did. In Jonestown, Rita worked with the children, according to her page. She was an angel already; RIP, dear Rita. ” - Kathryn Barbour
