“Amondo was smart and a great at all sports, he was and is a great person, I grew up with him and also went to Opportunity High with him. You will always be with us all GOD LOVES YOU. ” - CARL ROSS

“I met Mondo in 1970 summer time went to three different schools together we were good friends like family. l miss him and hope to see him again in the afterlife. He was special. Boss Ross ” - Ronnie Ross

“I played with Amondo as a kid. We'd play army and other games together. I was always the Field Marshall and he was a Sergeant (I was a couple of years older than him) and he played his role to the hilt. He was such a decent person, even as a kid. I remember his family well was grieved to learn of their demise. God has not forsaken Amondo nor his family, as they will be at the Supper Table of the Lamb. ” - Jr. Ross

“I am sitting in my car listing to a remembrance of Jonestown 40 years on. I wondered if it was really true of the death of my childhood friend Mondo. So I Googled the death records. To my shock not only was his name but also a photo. He was a kid I loved like a brother. I’m also shocked that his whole family died. This is that strong kid that held me down in the sand box and tickled me until I peed myself. I had no brothers, so in my mind he was my brother when we were children. I love you brother. Rest on. I pray I'll see you again. Much love Cornelius Graham.” - Cornelius Graham
