The Pain That Never Leaves ” - Barbara Sines

“In reading the 2009 Jonestown Report I just had to look at photos of my family. Here I am 31 years later looking into your eyes and missing you. You were the kindest man I had ever been in a relationship with and it's no wonder why I married your best friend Bryan 20 years after your death. You and Bryan were like two peas in a pod! The two nicest men I've known. I know that I can speak for both Bryan and myself that we both love and miss you. We always think of you on your birthday. Always in our hearts, Kristine ” - Kristine Kravitz

“Ron was my 2nd cousin on my mothers side, My great aunt Barbara Sines also my GodMother Lost her only 2 children on Sept. 18 1978. Aunty Barbara would tell me stories of him and she would tell me that he was very smart, handsome and good with his hands, she said he would make just about everything, and he loved to carve. I have the last photo taken of him and Nancy and they had a pet sloth on their shoulders in the jungle. On January 13 1986 I was Born and before I was Born My dad and mother Jennie and Nathanael Jackson decided to name me after my two cousins in Remembrance. They Named me Ronance (combination between Ron-Nancy)and when I got older they told me the story and the meaning/history behind my Name, and till this day when someone asks me about how pretty or different my name is I tell them the memory of JonesTown. I am shocked on how many ppl dont know about Jonestown, and that needs to be well-informed bc if not history repeats its self. If anyone would like to share your memories, stories, or have any information please I would love to talk to you. Take Care and God Bless You. Ronance Lynay Jackson-Hammond ” - RONANCE LYNAY JACKSON-HAMMOND

“Ronnie - as I knew him by was my 1ST cousin. The one thing that was infectious about Ronnie was his beautiful smile and gentleness. I was a Jr. in High School when the massacre happened and my family was devestated and heart-broken. What an empty void in my Aunt's heart took place on this horrible day and a nightmare for any mother who loses her ONLY 2 children in something so senseless and wrong. I watched my Aunt try to deal with this insaneness through the years and it made a huge impact on my life growing up. Gone to soon...no mother Ever wants to see her children die...Never before she does .. thats not normal. Now at 50, married to a wonderful man of 26 years and with 5 children of our own we felt lead by God to name our 3rd child Ronance which stands for Ronnie and Nancy; after their memory and love for them & to keep what happened alive in our hearts so that this awful tragity may never rear up it's ugly head and this part of history never repeats itself again. We will see on the other side Ronnie Love JD ” - Jennie Jackson
