May he rest easy. ” - Patrick“I am the great nephew of Uncle Abraham. My grandfather was his oldest brother. My Aunt Hattie kept in touch with him when he moved to California. Uncle Abraham had 13 brothers and 2 sisters. He has a large family rooted in Virginia. I never met Uncle Abraham but I knew many of his brothers and sister. Several of them died either before I was born or I was to young to remember them. Uncle Abraham has a strong resemblance to his brothers. They all had good hearts and was loved by our family. Uncle Abraham\'s Father was named Glascoe Staten and his mom was Sadie Staten. They are all deceased with the exception of 3 wives of the younger brothers. There are five generations of us living, six if you count the three wives. We get together ever so often and would like to pass on to our kids, grands and great grands his legacy. As the older family members die out, we lose that connection to a branch in our family tree. I have checked the box to have my email attached to this message.
