“I am Larry's niece. I never got to meet him, as I was not born until '97. I am the daughter of his brother Timothy Tupper Jones. I am so thankful that this website has provided pictures of those who were lost that day, as it has given me the chance to be able to see what Larry looked like. I only found out about my family's involvement in The Peoples Temple/Jonestown about a year ago, and before then, I did not know Larry existed. Seeing his pictures, along with the pictures of my other family who were lost that day, was and still is surreal. I wish that I could have met him. I often wonder what he was like. What kind of personality did he have? What were his hobbies? What would he have done if he had survived? Hopefully one day I can learn more about who he was. I am so sorry you had your life taken from you, and at such a young age too. Thinking about the fear you must of felt that day brings tears to my eyes. I may have not met you, but I will never forget you, Uncle Larry.” - Taylor Jones
