“I am a niece of Ruth. I am a daughter of her brother Timothy Tupper Jones. I was never able to meet her, as I was not born until 1997. I've been told that I resemble her, as well as her sisters, my other aunts, Mary and Janet. This website is one of the first places where I learned about Ruth and my other family who died in Jonestown, and it is the first place that I got to see photos of them. Needless to say, it was a very surreal experience. I do wonder what she was like, and I do wish I could have met her. It was special being able to read one of the articles on this site called "Ruth's Teeth". It provided me with a tiny bit of insight of who she was and what she was like, and I am very thankful for that. I hope to learn more about her one day. I am so sorry you lost your life on November 18th, and I cannot even imagine what was going on in your mind as everything was happening. Though I have not met you, I will not forget you, Aunt Ruth.” - Taylor Jones
