“Mom, how I still love you? Eternally, but know that your example of flexibility, adaptability has sustained me. You were the mother who I could talk to about anything. Non judgemental, and understanding. I raised my children, your grandchildren the same way. I know you, grandma, grandpa, Dad and the rest of you are together.... I am trying to get this life right...so I can rest with you. For years I was lost and angry for being left alone.. but you will be pleased to know that I got it....thank you for your strength through the years of me growing up. You were a good mom. I love you always. ” - Leslie Wagner

“Ms Wagner, I wish to honor you on this day when you should be 91 years old. I wish I could have known you. I do not know, you very well may of been the woman I talked to on the phone that kept me away from Peoples Temple and saved my life. If so I thank you. As at the time your and Leslie thinking was very different. She was coming back for all of you. But, as we know you and yours were betrayed. Know that God saved her so she could bravery tell the truth. And go on to help others. You would be proud of her. A woman of such kindness, bravery, and integrity. I must think that you the woman who raised her had the same beautiful qualities. And I find it sad that the world was robbed of you, your other children and grandchildren. If love could have saved you, none of you would have died. Until we all meet in the great beyond, fly high and free. RIP” - Cody
