“My sweet and beautiful brother Mark. What a blessing it is to be your sister. Mark was a very sensitive and loving spirit. He was kind, loved animals and loved his family. I do not recall having sibling arguments that most have. Mark wanted to be a veternarian. He used to suffer from asthma as a child. I remember my parents coming home from the hospital after one of his attacks and told my sister Michelle and I that he may not lived. He had to about six years old. We moved three times in San Francisco, trying to find an area where the weather would benefit him. Sunset District, Monterey District and finally the Richmond District. We loved him so much. He and my father spent summers at the cabin in Lake Tahoe. He had fun swimming, waterskiing, kayaking and fishing. He even had a mini bike. Our father Richard Wagner, loved his son very much. Mark also got into the ham radio while in the States. He was a very rounded young man.In Jonestown he had a girlfriend Pat. I had hoped that he got the chance to experience love. I miss you my brother and your picture is a constant memory of how special you were, Love your sister. Leslie ” - Leslie Cathey

“It was your face. Your face that changed my attitude about the people of Jonestown. At first I thought they (you) had to be crazy to be in such a situation. Then I came across your picture. You look so much like my cousin that I finally began to understand you and the people of Jonestown were just like anybody else. Because of this i now see the events of 11/18/1978 in a very different light. You have opened my eyes. It became more about the people of Jonestown and not Jim Jones or the "kool aid". You lived. You loved. You were here. R.I.P. ” - Kent
