Remembrances |

“Debbie Schroeder was a friend of mine. She first moved in with her husband and beautiful son Tad, in Redwood Valley. She made friends with some of the other parents in Peoples Temple, and always made sure that Tad had other darling children to play with. Debbie was an attentive and caring parent. She was the same way with all of the other children. They would run to her. She was always quiet and thoughtful. When she worked with the children, she emitted an air or calm, so kids could settle in with her and feel comforted. She worked well with the other teachers and parents because she included all of the children so easily. She was a wonderful parent and person. ” - Laura Johnston Kohl |
