Ryan \u2013 Victim (deceased)<\/u><\/p>\n<p>On November 18, 1978, Congressman Leo J. Ryan and others in his party were killed in Guyana, South America, while visiting the development of the People&#8217;s Temple, Disciples of Christ in Jonestown.
