Sir Lionel Luckhoo has agreed to act in Guyana for California Receiver (Fabian) who had informed Luckhoo of Hergen visit. In meeting March 12 w\/Formin Ambassador mentioned our knowledge of the existence of additional US Treasury checks in GOG custody and asked orally that they be turned over to the Embassy. DCM met with attorney Gillette on March 9 and gave him Fortune memorandum and draft. Gillette agreeable to continuing represent USG notes that he anticipates departing country permanently in four to six weeks. Gillette is to study documents and will then discuss with DCM. <\/p>\n<p>5.
