\nINFORMATION CONCERNING<\/p>\n

In connection with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) investigation into the assassination of United States Congressman Leo J. Ryan at Port Kaituma, Guyana, numerous People’s Temple (PT) documents in Jonestown, Guyana, were seized and are being reviewed by Special Agents of the FBI.<\/p>\n

A three-page handwritten report by Paula Adams, dated July 14, 1978, concerning “Mann” was located, and the following is quote from page two, last paragraph and page three, first paragraph:<\/p>\n

“PS
\n(4) He (Lawrence [Laurence] Mann) is trying to rent his house on a 10 year contract to the USAID for $1500\/month with a kickback to the guy at AID for renting it of $300\/mo.<\/p>\n

“So if AID takes the contract, the guy who contracts houses for AID will be pocketing $300\/mo for 10 years. Be careful how this is used. He is still tight with the P.M. [Prime Minister Forbes Burnham] and only 2 other people besides me knows about it \u2013 both of them are involved in the deal.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Paula Adams is identified as a trusted member of PT residing in Georgetown, Guyana, and known mistress of Guyana Ambassador to the United States, Lawrence Mann. AID employee not further identified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
