The Chronicle newspaper carried a story on Wednesday, January 30, 1980, indicating that Mr. Beikman\u2019s trial will begin on Tuesday, February 5, 1980.<\/p>\n<p>2. The case will be heard before, High Court Justice Ivan Churaman.<\/p>\n<p>3. While it cannot be confirmed, it is almost certain that an agreement has been reached between the GOG [Government of Guyana] and the defense which would involve the guilty plea on the count of attempted murder against Stephanie Jones.<\/p>\n<p>Roberts [George B.
