Joseph Mazor<\/a>, a private investigator who was first hired by the Concerned Relatives but who later jumped the fence and became a source of information for Peoples Temple, is in Jonestown, and it is a cause for celebration. The Jonestown Express performs seven songs on this tape \u2013 most of them covers of pop and R&B hits, but at least one which may be composed by someone in the Temple \u2013 before Jim Jones introduces their guest.<\/p>\n

Mazor says a few words, mostly reinforcing the views of the Jonestown leadership about Tim Stoen. \u201cWe have enough information to convict several people of various crimes, perjury, conspiracy, and like that,\u201d Mazor says. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t mean they\u2019ll go to jail forever, but at least it means some of the things which the Temple may have been wrongly charged with, at least the record will be set straight.\u201d<\/p>\n

In connection with the Federal Bureau of Investigation\u2019s investigation into the assassination of U.S. Congressman LEO J. RYAN at Port Kaituma, Guyana, South America, on November 18, 1978, a tape recording was obtained. This tape recording was located in Jonestown, Guyana, South America, and was turned over to U.S. Officials in Guyana and subsequently transported to the United States.<\/p>\n

On June 7, 1979, Special Agent (name deleted) reviewed the tape numbered 1B100-51. This tape was found to contain the following: A recording of an entertainment session by the people of Jonestown.<\/p>\n
