TOS [Tim Stoen] \u2013 he is the first to come to mind because the recent issue on the floor. Not only do I hold him directly responsible for the trouble CL [likely Carolyn Layton] was in \u2013 thus resulting in the “little* product\/\/ [likely Jim Jon Prokes]… but. I also hold him directly responsible for the situation with G [Grace Stoen] and the product of that [likely John Victor Stoen]. Both of which I know for certain \u2013 are the most painful areas of your life. And I also hold him responsible for you having the [to] go into the area of \u2019men\u2019 \u2013 since he was the first \u2013 and he would have pursued it if he hadn\u2019t been caught.<\/p>\n
And I feel that what he did the other night was amazing to put it mildly… I felt like killing him. He showed absolutely no socialist awareness and was talking very such like a white Conservative capitalist.<\/p>\n
I know you have to trust some people \u2013 and he has had lot of trust put in him. But he doesn’t know himself worth beans \u2013 and for that reason alone \u2013 I do not trust him. I wanted to bring up the fact that he told me in no uncertain terms that he very much enjoyed that relationship etc. (that night I told you about) \u2013 but I don’t know how much people can take \u2013 and I felt not free to unload all of this on him that night.<\/p>\n
I did not see the final conclusion \u2013 I doubt that it would matter in my opinion. The damage was done \u2013 and in some ass-y cases \u2013 I hope it wasn’t irreparable.<\/p>\n
When you are gone \u2013 I don’t trust him to rely on women’s opinions \u2013 I think he has a ‘healthy’ fear of you and that it must remain that way \u2013 since he is Indeed very much like a child in many ways. I would hope he would also have a “healthy\u201d fear that if he betrayed this cause \u2013 I or someone else would not hesitate to do him in.<\/p>\n
I an appaulled at his treatment of you and all you have done. I never liked him \u2013 and do even less now \u2013 I spoke the truth the other night \u2013 the only respect I have for him is in terms of the work he does for this cause \u2013 but when I see his responses the other night \u2013 I ask \u2013 why does he do it? What is in it for him? For I don’t trust his knowledge of himself at all. And he showed no Socialist Mentality at that time \u2013 on a very basic issue. It is much worse for those in authority when you are not around \u2013 and I felt that his statement showed at that time at least \u2013 that he was relating as one not left holding the bag \u2013 but rather as one who could let up while you were gone.<\/p>\n
I basically like him \u2013 and feel he has sone good qualities \u2013 (such as when he was stepping forward to tell the general congregation that he had been fucked etc. ) I feel he does have more honesty than the usual (esp. for a \u2019man’) \u2013 but I feel he needs the balance of a woman\u2019s decision \u2013 and also needs to become more realistic in sone of his dealings, (and more sensitive)<\/p>\n

I basically like him \u2013 tho there is a streak of chauvinism that I think runs there \u2013 that has to be dealt with \u2013 when taking instructions from a woman. But I have my doubts that he would effectively function as a leader \u2019front\u2019 \u2013 with directions coning from women \u2013 if he had to. I feel she is loyal. I do think she high strung \u2013 and over-reacts at tines. She makes me nervous to be around her \u2013 she is so paranoid. I wonder about her health \u2013 and stamina. And I feel she needs a certain amount of feedback and positive strokes from you \u2013 that may determine her functioning in a time when you are not here. I originally thought she was nosey \u2013 (and she was at the tine) and I didn\u2019t like the way she put the N.Y. City situation with CRL [Christine Lucientes] and PC to you \u2013 like she knew that was what was going on \u2013 and that you actually had to affirm or deny it to her. I didn\u2019t like that. I also feel that now that she kind of knows what we are doing \u2013 she backs off somewhat \u2013 but I still feel that if she didn\u2019t knew \u2013 she would still be inquisitive. But I think I basically trust her \u2013 I think she has the principles at heart. She does have her patterns tho \u2013 and I feel she functions best with a balancing opinion (as we all do). But she can tend to get bogged down in details and miss the over-all point.<\/p>\n
I like her very much \u2013 and feel she is very reliable (if she is not in that ever so slightly insane streak that has cone up once in a great great while).<\/p>\n

You know my feelings about her \u2013 I also feel she will be here until the end. We don’t talk much about our deep feelings to each other \u2013 Mainly no time\u2026 but so many of our feelings go unspoken \u2013 seems no need to verbalize then. I do wonder how to ans. her tho when she makes the statement that the little one is just pain to you. How do I counter that one? We don’t talk of him or you in such detail.<\/p>\n

She is much more balanced than she used to be. I find her reliable even. My trust of her is not that deep \u2013 nor do I still like her very much (but more so than before her recent growth.) I def. cannot at all be objective about her.<\/p>\n

You know my feelings about her \u2013 I think \u2013 or rather \u2013 I know she will stand when you are gone. She is tried and true. \u2013 I don’t know how much she drains you these days, but I have no question of her loyality or that she will be here. PJ \u2013 If she doesn’t freak out someday \u2013 I trust her to stick \u2013 but I think in many ways she is an unknown \u2013 and PC had to have a ‘crazy’ effect on anyone for that many formative years. I don’t think she knows yourself very well \u2013 and is limited in her ability to analyze things to the utmost. But she is very trustworthy if not under a great deal of emotional pressure \u2013 condition is away from PC.<\/p>\n

Report on conversation with TS secretary<\/p>\n
TS [Tim Stoen] asked me to talk to her about the church etc. and mentioned that JJ wanted us to try to get her in. He (TS sd) she had been loyal and has helped him with church work (don\u2019t) know what kind). And that she has always been closed mouth etc.<\/p>\n
So I went to coffee with her and TS \u2013 he had obviously talked with her about s \u2013 she was well acquainted with our stand.He spoke of the necessary dedication and all \/\/ whenever SB asked her a question she would look over at TS and they would kind of giggly \u2013 and she would say to TS \u2013 “we went over this\u201d \u2013 or some acknowledging\u2028remark of familiarity to TS. (SB thought it was sickening \u2013 it looked like a mutual admiration society of 2)<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u2013 anyway \u2013 SB asked her to go to lunch sometime after that \u2013 and during the lunch conversation \u2013 the following\u2028points were made:<\/p>\n
(1) \u2013 SB mentioned her own art experience (the secretary is interested in her art work (which in itself is extremely self-oriented) SB sd. her work had not related to the problems around her etc. (no response from Martha)<\/p>\n
(2) \u2013 SB asked what Martha\u2019s phil. was \u2013 or idea of God \u2013 we finally named it as \u2019Love\u2019 \u2013 and she felt that not many people felt it or practised it and she felt alienated\u2028in that way. I asked her if she thought that people had the ability (unused as it was) to express love \u2013 or did just a few people like herself know how? She sd. that she thought everybody could feel it if they tried.<\/p>\n
(3) \u2013 then SB asked what her idea of love was. What it would be like if everybody loved each other.<\/p>\n
(4) then SB equated her idea (Martha’s idea) of \u2019love\u2019 with S [Socialism] \u2013 and that S was a way of reorientating peoples minds and feelings to a more loving way of living. She thought about this awhile and it finally came out that she was afraid of S b<\/u>ecause she thought she would have to give up too much of herself and she did not want to do that \u2013 <\/u>she did not want to give up her sleep or her free time or her artwork<\/p>\n
she was afraid she would be doing things she did not want to do \u2013 I told her I did nothing I did not want to do \u2013 I was not made to do anything I did not in actuality want to do. No one force you to do anything under S \u2013 you wanted to do it\/ She could not relate to this at all \u2013 she obviously did not, believe there would be that.<\/u>\u2028<\/u>degree of freedom under S\u2013<\/p>\n
I do not feel she has a positive opinion of S \u2013 and I feel that TS should back off what he had told her about extreme dedication under S and whatever \u2013 she has a fear of it \u2013 and I believe she is too self-oriented at the moment \u2013 she is extremely naieve about the world situation doesn\u2019t belive about prejudice and the suffering of others that she might help alleviate. She 1s not ready <\/u>to actively participate<\/u> \u2013 she made that very clear.<\/p>\n
And I question what TS gets in the way of ego boasting from her \u2013 she obviously idolizes TB [Terry Buford]<\/p>\n

Socialism to me \u2013 means total equality eventually. Not now, not in the beginning \u2013 now it means \u2013 some people have to work harder to be examples to others to lure them away from the trappings of capitalism \u2013 to the ideals of socialism. To just say to people that under socialism, there will be no more hungry babies, etc. \u2013 doesn\u2019t seem to make it. Most people don\u2019t get grabbed close enough to make them work hard, to give up things to make socialism work.<\/p>\n
It is an ideal to work for \u2013 not something we have now \u2013 or can probably even hope to have so that we \u2013 the workers \u2013 can reap the glories and benefits of a socialistic way of life. I feel we are, for the most part much too corrupted by capitalism, to become engrossed in socialism as a replacement. Most of us have not suffered enough, or even if we have, there are still remnants of wanting something that someone else has etc, \u2013 it looking appealing in some way or other \u2013 an intisement (Sp?) Anyway, I can see that we are going to have a hell of a problem getting most of the people we have now to work and live under socialism. There will always be petty jealousies and comparisons as has been set up by the capitalists. How to get rid of them? When will the big purge come?? When we are all hungry? or on the way to jail?? Somehow, I don\u2019t think so.<\/p>\n
Socialism is an ideal\u2026 and some of us are idealist in one sense and dreadful realists in another sense. But just because we ourselves cannot be in the new established order that is to come \u2013 does not detract from the beauty or righteousness of it.<\/p>\n
Socialism + (Communism) is a total re-orientation of our previous way of thinking. A new outlook on not only ourselves as individuals, our work habits, our attitude towards work, our feelings for others, relationships etc. but it is also a complete dying of our present thoughts and ideas, things we have been brought up with \u2013 things that seem to be habits, even though J [Jones] example has shown us higher ideals \u2013 we are still for the most part in a capitalistic groove.<\/p>\n
From the P.L. [Promised Land] \u2026 I can see how just and beautiful a complete Socialist way of life would be. To be able to get up in the morning feeling clean, to go to work in any area \u2013 that is obviously useful and of value to the collective \u2013 even if it is cleaning the latrines. To be doing something worthwhile\u2026 to be living for and in something worthwhile\u2026<\/p>\n
Now, I am satisfied to have something worthwhile to die for \u2013 and hopefully to bring about something more worthy for those to come. It is not important to me that I be able to live under pure Socialism\u2026 but more that I have worked to help bring it about \u2013 or even to help to destroy the horrible corruption of capitalism. My personal expectations for this life are few. But I do accept my responsibility to work in the PL if necessary to build Socialism and Socialist consciousness there \u2013 if that is what I should do.<\/p>\n
Tho, by choice, I would like to go out of this hell hole world in a blaze\u2026 either of gun fire, getting some (many) mother fucking capitalist\u2026 or in one (or several\u2026) big explosions, well placed. Instead \u2013 what I am willing to do for Socialism \u2013 is to keep on living\u2026 and fighting against capitalism \u2013 and fighting to establish a new Socialist\/Communist order \u2013 all over the world. PJ did 1 C on the 21st and together they did 9 V’s<\/p>\n PJ typed the above and said that CRL had the rest of the work\u2026 I asked CRL about it and she avoided the issue \u2013 and finally said she had 12 of something (C’s or V’s??) somewhere\u2026 when I asked her specifically for them last night \u2013 she went to get them (supposedly) and left the house\u2026 we didn’t know where she was (not at the office) until the next day(??)<\/p>\n I had KL tell her again when they went to leave for S.F. together to leave the stuff as I had to get this week\u2019s work together \u2013 \u2026 and nothing was left \u2013 so I assume that there is nothing to leave.<\/p>\n She acts this way when she is hiding something (i.e. when she stole the $50 from me in change \u2013 she “went to get it” about 5 times \u2013 and obviously had no intention of returning it as it had been spent previously)<\/p>\n I gave she and PJ $120 for the week and got none back \u2013 the last time she and PJ were supposed to go to L.A.
