This came in mail 4\/20; I called Larson \u2013 he said someone anonymous called their office & reported that Gene Chaikin had a public advertisement saying he did people\u2019s taxes \u2013 \u00a0& they\u2019re (Dept. of Consumer Affairs) inquiring because they have no record of Chaikin registered with Tax Preparers Program \u2013 which is required if you do other people\u2019s taxes.<\/p>\n
All the taxes returns that came over last week were mailed out to IRS & State Franchise Tax Board with return address<\/u>, P.O. Box 15156 c\/o Chaikin & this was put on the tax returns at Evelyn\u2019s mother\u2019s direction.<\/p>\n
I want to call Larson Monday & explain Chaikin is an attorney, doesn\u2019t do taxes, has been out of the country since Sept. 1977 & the whole thing is absurd \u2013 there is no such advertisement. Also explain that people do use the P.O. box as a return address. Ok?<\/u><\/p>\n
