These materials include organizational and personal papers, legal documents, financial records, and photographs. CHS currently holds many individual collections that form the Peoples Temple Collection. The California Historical Society at <a href=\"https:\/\/archives.stanford.edu\/catalog?f%5Blevel%5D%5B%5D=Collection&#038;f%5Brepository%5D%5B%5D=California+Historical+Society\">Stanford University<\/a> is open to the public, but researchers are encouraged to email or call ahead for hours prior to visiting. A sampling of photographs in the CHS collection is <a href=\"https:\/\/oac.cdlib.org\/view?docId=kt6m3nf469;developer=local;style=oac4;doc.view=items\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">CHS has also processed a major collection\u00a0of photographs, slides, contact prints, and audiovisual recordings from the Peoples Temple Publications Department. The SDSU Special Collections maintains a complete archive of all transcripts and audiotapes, and maintains other documents and papers, some of which are unique to the collection, and some of which duplicate materials held at the California Historical Society.
