\nContractor:<\/strong> All right, (unintelligible word) did you get the drawings?
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Yes, we did. We were just uh, going over them, and we\u2019re just preparing to uh, try to make contact back with you this morning.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>I\u2019m sorry about the composition of the drawings but they were (unintelligible) when we got them, and they were chopped to heck about the old drawings\u2013
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Um-hmm.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>\u2013(unintelligible) copies. The best we can do on the\u2013 you know, at this stage.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Okay. Uh\u2013 Now, uh, we\u2013 it appears we have the drawing for the uh, 100 KW and for the 300 KW and the foundation drawing. Uh, okay, now, let\u2019s see, uh, we didn\u2019t uh, have a drawing for\u2013 or a design arrangement for the boiler, or refactory.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>(unintelligible) I haven\u2019t been able to get a hold of the drawing for the boiler yet. They\u2019re a standard boiler, what we call a standard Lancashire boiler, they\u2019re good boiler, you know, a good ol\u2019 workhorse, you know, it\u2019s one of the old best. Uh, I forget you were calling (unintelligible word) the boiler which you require, eh?
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Well, what we need to do is to be able to uh, see what uh, is necessary for the uh, building of the refactory (unintelligible word). We need to order the materials so we can, you know, build the refactory and the foundation for the boiler.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yeah. Uh\u2013 I wonder whether, you know, I can get that all out to you, you know\u2013 (stumbles over words) The thing is, what\u2013 what I was\u2013 what I\u2019m ringing for is uh, (unintelligible word) will you want to know, you know, what is\u2013 whether you\u2019re going to go ahead with it, uh, you know, \u2018cause it\u2013 it\u2019s was put to a lot of expense, you know, laid up, we\u2019ve got, you know, all these laid up.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Umm-hmm. Well, we\u2013 yeah, our intentions are to go on this thing. We need to make uh\u2013 have\u2013 have some of our final discussions with you<\/em>, though, however on the\u2013 on the\u2013 on the price once we\u2019ve know\u2013 we understand for sure here that uh, we\u2013 you have everything that\u2019s necessary to make us a complete package. And that was uh, what we were after here uh, we still haven\u2019t gotten the engineer\u2019s reports on the\u2013 on this, and\u2013 Of course, this could be included in the\u2013 in the contract. We would have to have a contract uh, from you, uh, stating uh, exactly what our agreement is, including the description of the equipment, the engineer\u2019s reports, and uh, the uh\u2013 including the conversion from the 50 to 60-cycle, uh\u2013 And then the confirming that it\u2019s a complete\u2013 a complete unit, a complete package, operational, all we have to be concerned about is it uh, in addition to that, is the shipping arrangements to get it to<\/em> Guyana and the uh, uh\u2013 someone there to uh, supervise the installation of the uh\u2013 of the complete unit. And let\u2019s see here\u2013 and uh, this all includes the feed system. We\u2019ve already talked about that the other day.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yeah. Well, so also what I\u2019m doing is, before we dismantle this stage, a lot of uh, photographs of every stage of it, taken (unintelligible) and various stages so we\u2019ve also, as well as drawings, got a photograph uh\u2013 you know, photograph copy of everything to do with the whole assembly.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> That\u2019s good. Yes. Uh-huh [Yes].
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>It makes it much easier for people to work on at\u2013 at your end.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Uh-huh.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>\u2013(unintelligible under Ijames) all photographed and be all numbered (unintelligible), and see exactly where everything goes.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Well, now, who would\u2013 who would uh\u2013 we wanted a representative uh, from your firm to uh, that is familiar with the uh, installation and operation of this to be there to supervise it. We don\u2019t want to just try to put it together from pictures and prints.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>No, there\u2019ll be two of (unintelligible word)\u2013 there\u2019ll (unintelligible word) be two people coming over.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Okay.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Uh, there no problem there, so we\u2013 we would uh\u2013\u00a0we would insist that somebody from our side come to assemble\u2013 you know, to supervise.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Yes, well, that\u2019s what we want.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yeah, that\u2019s no problem there.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Okay. All right, well, now\u2013 Well, then, we\u2019re\u2013 we\u2019re a little bit frustrated here too on this. We want to be able to get all these loose ends rounded up here, and uh\u2013 so, now uh, these things that I just labeled out here to you, do you have them uh\u2013 have them jotted down so they can be put into a contract?

\nContractor: <\/strong>Yeah, yeah, you want the uh\u2013 the engineer\u2019s reports\u2013
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Yes.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Uh\u2013 And, let\u2019s say the supervision of (unintelligible word) at your end, that would be also in.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Yes, we\u2013 a total description of the uh, complete uh\u2013 the complete unit. That\u2013 that would include uh\u2013 that would include the 300 KW, the 100 KW, and the boiler, and that uh, includes the feed system for the boiler.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yeah.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> That uh, any\u2013 all the spare parts\u2013
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yeah.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> And uh\u2013 okay.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>And all the switch gear.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> All the switch gear. Yes, and the 50 to 60 cycle uh\u2013
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yep.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> \u2013conversion, that\u2019s done there<\/em>, in your\u2013 there in England, before it leaves. Right?
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>That (unintelligible word) to be done, that we\u2013 that gear box\u2013 the gear box will be put in to increase the generator speed twenty percent.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Yes. Okay, fine. Yeah, all right, so the description of that all complete package is there before it leaves, and then uh, we\u2019ll have to have a shipping schedule uh, arrangements uh, prepared so we know how\u2013 how much it\u2019s gonna cost us to ship it. Uh, and then, we would have to have in conjunction\u2013 along with the uh, uh, the uh, contract, a uh, pro forma invoice so we can handle the uh, import license.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yep. Yep.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Okay.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>(unintelligible word) Yep. Um\u2013
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Now then\u2013 and then of course the contract has to include the price<\/em>, which we probably ought to talk about now.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yeah. Well uh\u2013
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Now our last discussion, I mentioned to you\u2013 Now we went over and uh, again here which you had labeled out in your letter, and uh, I believe we talked about the fact that we needed to get a\u2013 the package deal, uh, reduced to some what, and uh\u2013 and you said you\u2019d see what you can do. Now have you worked on that at all?
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yep. Uh\u2013 well, we\u2013 we could get it. See, does this bill include all\u2013 uh, say, the whole lot with a little extra expense for the gearbox and uh, so forth, but we could do it in about uh, well, it\u2019s just about 55,000, if that\u2019s, you know\u2013

\nIjames:<\/strong> Yes.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>About 55,000. Yeah, we could do it for that.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> 55,000 US.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yeah. (Pause)
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Yes, uh-huh. 55,000 US. Now that\u2013 does that include shipping?
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>No, that doesn\u2019t include shipping, no.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Well, what uh\u2013 (clears throat) Okay, that includes everything b\u2013 but the shipping, that includes the supervision uh\u2013
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yep. Uh, all that includes everything at this time [side].
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Everything at\u2013
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Everything in the U.K.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Everything in the United Kingdom, okay. So then uh\u2013 so then after it\u2013 when it leaves<\/em>, when it goes on\u2013 gets\u2013 goes a ship there, then we have added cost to add onto the 55,000.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yeah, well, it\u2019s only\u2013 (stumbles over words) I mean, it\u2013 it\u2019s only advisable because supervisional cost won\u2019t be very expensive.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Okay, well, I need uh, for\u2013 I need to be able to convey to the board, though, some approximate idea of what it\u2019s going to cost for the\u2013 all parts of this, and uh\u2013 so uh\u2013 You have any idea yet on the shipping and on the supervision?
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Oh, I can get\u2013 Well, the shipping, no I haven\u2019t, because there again, it\u2013 it\u2019s all got to be broke down, you know, to weights and dimensions and that, and we haven\u2019t got into this too deep, you know, so we can (unintelligible) you were going ahead. (unintelligible) Obviously, we\u2019ve got to go in\u2013 into it because of, you know, the size.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Yeah, okay, I\u2019m\u2013 I\u2019m sorry, I had a real hard time hearing you, the line is uh\u2013 Can you say that last again?
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>It\u2019s just\u2013 It\u2019s just a matter of the size of, you know, the bulk of it, and\u2013 and getting to know, you know, the\u2013 the weight and bulk.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Okay, yes, yes, uh-huh. All right. Okay, then, uh\u2013 then on the supervision, uh, how long you think it\u2019ll take to set that up, how long will they have to be there and how much uh\u2013
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>I would say about uh\u2013 (Pause) three to four weeks?
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Okay, so we figure a\u2013 a month, and uh\u2013 and that will cost us approximately what for the two people? I think we\u2019ve got it\u2013
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Two people. Umm\u2013 Say again. Can I come back to you this on the mor\u2013 The thing is, I\u2019ve got to get in search with the net\u2013 see, it\u2019s a specialized engineer I\u2019ve got to get to come out\u2013
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Yes. Okay, okay.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>I\u2019ve got to\u2013 I\u2019ve got to\u2013 you know, I\u2019ve got to (unintelligible word) need for that.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Okay, all right. Well, tentatively I think we\u2019ll\u2013 Let\u2019s go ahead and\u2013 and make the contract up, uh, start getting the contract put together based with\u2013 on having these items included that we\u2019ve discussed, and at 55,000, I don\u2019t think we\u2019re going to have uh, any problem there uh, necessarily, and\u2013 but I wouldn\u2019t\u2013 you know\u2013 Meanwhile, if you get these other\u2013 uh, this other cost uh, uh, available for us, so we know\u2013 know what our total package is, I think, \u2018cause we\u2013 we\u2019ve got an\u2013 we\u2019ve got an agreement here, and see (unintelligible word)\u2013 Just a second here. (Pause) Yeah, right, uh, we\u2019ll send a deposit uh, back with the uh, uh, signed uh, copy of the contract.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yeah. Okay, yeah.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Yep. (unintelligible word)\u2013 Well\u2013 What kind of depo\u2013 what kind of deposit would you need, and then we\u2013 uh, we\u2013 we want to arrange it where we\u2013 we\u2019d pay a deposit and then uh, upon arrival, we could pay uh, uh\u2013 (Pause) when shipped, let\u2019s see here, wait a minute, when shipped, go ahead. (Pause) We\u2019ll send the balance when shipped uh, and then uh, the cost of the uh\u2013 of the uh, supervisors and all that will be paid upon completion of\u2013 of the uh, installation.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>Yep. Well, I\u2019ll come to\u2013 I\u2019ll come back to you tomorrow with all these details and give you, you know, what we want (unintelligible) I\u2019ve got to see\u2013 I\u2019ve got to get (unintelligible word) with my directors as well, you know, (unintelligible) co-partners (unintelligible) to work it out, you know. I\u2019ll come back to you tomorrow. Will you be available?
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Okay, now, I\u2013 I\u2019m\u2013 I\u2019ll be traveling, but uh, Mr. Chaikin, Gene Chaikin \u2013 you\u2019ve talked with him too, befo\u2013 remember? Uh, he\u2013 he was the one that called you when he was over in England. Uh, he\u2019ll be here and he\u2019s well aware of uh\u2013\u00a0of all this, we\u2019ve been discussing it at\u2013 at length\u2013 at length, and he\u2019s been following it. Now uh, what we need uh\u2013 (talks to someone off mic) (back on). Yeah, oh yes, now one thing we are concerned, as I mentioned earlier about the plans on the uh, boiler for the foundation and the refactory, \u2018cause we have to start ordering the materials now<\/em> to uh, have it there on time.

\nContractor: <\/strong>Yep. I\u2019ll get those uh, sorted out uh, I\u2019ll see\u2013 I\u2019ll request some new drawings made up for you for the boiler\u2013 (unintelligible under Ijames)

\nIjames:<\/strong> Okay, good.
\n
\nContractor: <\/strong>\u2013I\u2019ll go ahead and get them done.
\n
\nIjames:<\/strong> Yeah, okay. We\u2019ll need construction schedule so we can\u2013 huh? Sketches. Construction sketches, so we know uh\u2013 know just exactly what to order.

\nContractor: <\/strong>Yeah. We\u2019ll\u2013 we\u2019ll give you the com\u2013 a full list of everything you\u2019ll require.

\nIjames:<\/strong> All right, fine, well then uh, I won\u2019t be in, I have to be on a trip tomorrow, but uh, talk to uh, Gene Chaikin, and uh, he\u2013 he\u2019ll have all the paperwork here in front of him and he\u2019ll be prepared to discuss that with you.
