Girl 2:<\/b> Huh?<\/p>\n

Girl 1:<\/b> Virginia, stop. Get off of the telephone.<\/p>\n

Girl 2:<\/b> Huh?<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Hi, is Carnella Tru\u2013<\/p>\n

(Girl 2 cuts in with inaudible sounds, followed by laughter)<\/p>\n

Girl 1:<\/b> I got the telephone.<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Hello, is Carnella Truss there?<\/p>\n

Girl 1:<\/b> Cornelia?<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Carnella, yeah.<\/p>\n

Girl 1:<\/b> Who\u2013 Who, um, who is this?<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Well, you can tell\u2013<\/p>\n

Girl 2:<\/b> Who is this?<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Well, is your\u2013 is your mom there? Is Carnella Truss there? I need to\u2013<\/p>\n

(Both girls answer)<\/p>\n

Girl 2:<\/b> No.<\/p>\n

Girl 1:<\/b> No one here\u2013 no one here name is Carnella Truss. They moved, I guess.<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> They\u2013 they moved?<\/p>\n

Girl 2:<\/b> Goodbye.<\/p>\n

Girl 1:<\/b> Um, all I know is we got Cornelius\u2013<\/p>\n

Girl 2:<\/b> Yeah.<\/p>\n

Carnella Truss:<\/b> Hello?<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Hello, is this Carnella Truss?<\/p>\n

Carnella:<\/b> Yes.<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Hi, my name is Harriet Tropp, and I\u2019m over in the legal staff at the church and Emmett [Griffith]\u2013 I was talking to Emmett just the other day briefly and uh, he mentioned there was\u2013 that you\u2013 there was some problem, um, that you were having with Dana [Truss], about Dana taking a trip with Mary [Griffith]. And I wanted to see if I could help you out in any way. Something that I\u2013 we could do to try to\u2013 you know, see what\u2019s uh, what\u2019s happening.<\/p>\n

Carnella:<\/b> (Cautious) What kind of problem?<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Well, Emmett said something that\u2013 that you were upset that\u2013 that Mary took uh, Dana on a trip, and, I\u2013 I think<\/i> they\u2019re en route now, but I could see if we could, you know, try to get a hold of them and have \u2018em give you a buzz, \u2018cause I\u2019m sure\u2013<\/p>\n

Carnella:<\/b> Nah, I just\u2013 I just asked \u2018em yesterday, I asked them where was Momma and Dana at.<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Umm-hmm [Yes]. Well, as far as I know, they\u2019re en route, they\u2019re gonna be taking like a tour of Barbados, and like an educational trip for at least\u2013 well, couple of\u2013 um, maybe about six weeks, two months. But<\/i>, um, if there was any problem and you wanted Dana back, I\u2019m sure I, you know\u2013 that wouldn\u2019t be a problem.<\/p>\n

Carnella:<\/b> But I didn\u2019t say nothin\u2019 about gettin\u2019 her back.<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Umm-hmm, umm-hmm [Yes]. Well, I see\u2013 I\u2013 Stories get mixed up, you know how that goes, and, um, what I understood it was that\u2013 that you were upset that Mary took Dana on a trip and that you wanted Dana to come back, and I didn\u2019t know if that was the case, and I just wanted to see what\u2013 anything we<\/i> could do to, you know, help it out, help out the situation, \u2018cause, I can understand\u2013<\/p>\n

Carnella:<\/b> No, I was just askin\u2019 where he was, where\u2013 where they was at. He wouldn\u2019t tell me.<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Oh<\/i>! Well, that\u2019s a whole\u2013 Oh, well, that\u2019s\u2013 see, that\u2019s not how I got it from him so\u2013 no wonder, no wonder, that mixes anything up.\u00a0 Well, I<\/i> could\u2013 From what I understand, they\u2019re traveling right now through um\u2013 towards Miami. But, um, I can try to get a, you know, find out, where they are exactly \u2013 I don\u2019t know personally \u2013 and have \u2018em give you a buzz. Would that be\u2013 would that be good?<\/p>\n

Carnella:<\/b> Um-hmm [Yes].<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Because I can understand, if you don\u2019t know where they are, that you\u2019d be upset, that\u2013 I mean I appreciate that fact, that\u2019s\u2013 you know, it\u2019s uh, being uncertain like that is not good. Um, but fine<\/i>, if you\u2019d like I\u2019ll, you know, just try to get a hold of \u2018em somehow and, you know, track it down and then get \u2018em\u2013 have \u2018em give you a call and see what\u2019s happening, okay?<\/p>\n

Carnella:<\/b> Okay.<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Because I\u2013 you know, I can understand if\u2013 if you didn\u2019t know where they were, you\u2019d be a little worried, you know.<\/p>\n

Carnella:<\/b> Mm-hmm [Yes].<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Um, but the way we\u2013 I got the story was that you wanted Dana to come back and I\u2013 I\u2013 that<\/i> wouldn\u2019t have been a problem either, if\u2013 if that was the case. But um, if that, you know\u2013 if you just want to see\u2013 see how she\u2019s doing, that\u2019s fine. I mean, I\u2019ll try to have her get a hold of you. Um, from what I<\/i> understand, what they\u2019re gonna be doing is taking uh, like a tour of the uh, Caribbean and, going to like\u2013 going into<\/i>\u2013 you know, going to South America for maybe six weeks or, you know, two months, something like that, to do um\u2013 uh, or to the mission project for the denomination for a little while, but, you know, traveling around in Barbados, also in the Caribbean, it\u2019d be kind of a nice thing for\u2013 for Dana, you know, uh, you know, kind of a little educational thing, you know?<\/p>\n

Carnella:<\/b> Oh.<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Uh\u2013 But I don\u2019t know how you feel about it. I mean\u2013 I\u2013 I was concerned that you were, you know, that you didn\u2019t want her to go take a trip (Unintelligible word). Like I say, obviously that was\u2013 Obviously, that\u2019s the wrong story, I mean, and I got it all mixed up, so\u2013 But um, if you\u2019d like, I\u2013 what I\u2019ll do is I\u2019ll try to get a hold of her, and have her give you a call. Is that cool?<\/p>\n

Carnella:<\/b> Okay.<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Okay, good. I\u2019m glad I got I got straightened around, \u2018cause the story got all (Unintelligible word under movement). The way I heard it, it was just\u2013 it was just of proportion, you know, it was completely wrong. Um\u2013 Okay\u2013 okay. But if, you know, if\u2013 if you had not wanted\u2013 if you had wanted Dana to come back, that wouldn\u2019t be a problem either, you know. (inaudible under Carnella)<\/p>\n

Carnella:<\/b> No, I gave her\u2013 I gave her to her.<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Mm-hmm [Yes]. Okay, good. Well, I\u2019ll have her give you a call as soon as I can find out exactly<\/i> where she is. (Unintelligible word) She\u2019s en route I think between um, part\u2013 like part of Florida to\u2013 going toward Miami, so that\u2019s the last thing that Emmett told me. So I\u2019ll see if we can locate her exactly<\/i>, so she can give you a call, okay?<\/p>\n

Carnella:<\/b> Okay.<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Thanks a lot.<\/p>\n

Carnella:<\/b> Okay.<\/p>\n

Harriet:<\/b> Bye now.<\/p>\n
