I can tell you that\u2019s one reason you ought to be glad to be here, but I\u2019d like to be here, \u2018cause Neville Younger wouldn\u2019t do me<\/i> in. I\u2019d do him<\/i> in afore he did me<\/i> in, I can tell you that.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Peace. I\u2019m sure<\/i> tired of these mother fuckers. Attorney General of a state that\u2019s supposed to be a republic<\/i>\u2013 supposed to be one of the largest areas\u2013 uh, government areas in the world<\/i>, I think only six or seven principalities or governments or sovereign states above California, and the Attorney General gathering together to have a meeting around me<\/i>, and he isn\u2019t quite satisfied that he can get something to nail<\/i> me with, so he wants to call in somebody else a month later. (Pause) About my past<\/i>. He didn\u2019t even have anything about my present. I don\u2019t know what the hell he got about my past he wants to nail me with. He wants to talk about uh, the Roses. Uh, that isn\u2019t anything he can nail me with, \u2018cause it\u2019s not his jurisdiction<\/i>. He has nothing to do<\/i> with the Roses. If you don\u2019t know anything about the Roses, that\u2019s your problem. How many remember the Roses? Yeah, I thought some of you might remember the Roses. You don\u2019t remember the Roses? You all are guilty, so you might as well know<\/i> about the Roses.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>You don\u2019t know about the Ro\u2013 How many know about the Roses? You don\u2019t know about the Roses. You never heard about the Roses? My God, I told it in front of the whole congregation, \u2018cause it was one of those low cycles when it looked like the world<\/i> had come to its end. And I wanted us to go down in history for the truth of what I really had been. Well, I think a few things didn\u2019t get over to Vietnam that were headed that way. You surely now remember that. (Makes train noises) Choo-choo, whew-whew, whew-whew, choo-choo. Now how many remember the Roses?<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>You people kill me. I know<\/i> some of you were there, and you don\u2019t remember it? Spent a whole service talking about it. Well, he couldn\u2019t be interested in that, \u2018cause that\u2019s not his jurisdiction. That\u2019s the federal<\/i> boys that be interested in that. They want to b\u2013 bomb little children. I just stopped several thousands of little children, mothers and grandmothers and grandfathers and so forth from being bombed into oblivion for being uh, guilty of no crime other than being of another political persuasion than the Yankee imperialist would accept<\/i>. Primarily because they were another race, because people had turned socialist in Europe and they never drop napalm jellies on them, but when anybody that was uh, of another skin<\/i> color, beginning to turn towards that direction, they drop napalm jellies and anti-personnel weapons \u2013 some of you forgotten those horrible days, I guess \u2013 weapons that would drop and splinter off and cut holes through them, make little\u2013 uh, just like slivers of razors that would sh\u2013 go through a thousand pieces in one body. Well, I stopped a little bit of that. And shortly thereafter, the Vietnam war turned down to a halt<\/i>. But that\u2019d be a federal<\/i> matter. So what the fuck the local yokel wants, I do not know. And it has nothing to do<\/i> with the present, something I\u2019ve done in the past. Well, Jesus Christ, I can think of nothing<\/i> I\u2019ve done at all<\/i> but that. Nothing he\u2019d be interested in. That shows you the evil<\/i> of America. Now instead of administering about what to do about young people on drugs<\/i>, or what to do about old people being mugged every day in the streets, or unemployment, or all the vice and crime that affects those poor and impoverished, the working class, instead of meeting on that, he had the whole<\/i> goddamned state session on what we can do to nail Jones. And didn\u2019t have enough people there, so he\u2019s calling it for next<\/i> month. (Pause) That\u2019s my reason to tell you right now\u2013 \u2018cause I\u2019d like to go back. I\u2019d like to be back there, though I hate that country. I\u2019d like to be back there, do me a few little uh\u2013 I\u2019d make some Roses.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>I\u2019d give<\/i> some people some Roses. But I don\u2019t think it would\u2013\u00a0that would help my babies here, and so I go on doing what I\u2019m learning to do<\/i>: becoming a farmer. We\u2019re all going to have to learn more about<\/i> farming. We have to learn about this topsoil, the danger of misusing and abusing<\/i> this topsoil. I\u2019d be very careful how we use it, and everybody\u2019s got to become a farmer, got to be familiar with it. Because this is a rich, rich land for many things<\/i>, but we\u2019ve got to protect our soil<\/i>, and fertilize properly, know all the ways to<\/i> fertilize, we ought to have our own compost uh, fields being set up and we ought to be getting more shell, we ought to have all we got. I don\u2019t know how much shell we\u2019ve got left. We ought to think about that a little bit later. Seashell. We ought to know how to make it. We ought to know how to do everything by every means possible. (Unintelligible word, sounds like \u201cPrawn\u201d) is a form of chicken<\/i> feed. We ought to know how to do that<\/i>. Things I\u2019m beginning to learn, but we learn to do more<\/i>. We need to learn how to sh\u2013 uh\u2013 chicken feed from shell. You people in the poultry department ought to be on<\/i> to this, and we ought to be bringing information and reports every<\/i> week. Progress report. Right here. Right on?<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>I figure we can do more, and so I\u2019m\u2013 I never was a farmer, Jesus Christ. I knew there was ground<\/i>, and I knew that there was something more than that. Much more I didn\u2019t know. I picked a lot of potatoes (unintelligible under tape distortion) with the ol\u2019 pitch fork, a lot of potatoes. And I picked a lot of tomatoes, because we had to eat. And I picked a lot strawberries<\/i>, but fuck, I got \u2018em out, I didn\u2019t get \u2018em in.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>So I didn\u2019t know anything about that. But you folk, some of you knew a lot more about that than the rest<\/i> of us, but I came down here and was willing to make a\u2013 be a\u2013 be a\u2013 be a farmer, for the benefit of those that I kne\u2013 knew needed me. But as far as looking back that mess, and I hear that people out there that talk about the music\u2013<\/p>\n

Anybody that has heard<\/i> any of them talkin\u2019 about that shit stand on their feet. They should write it, so we don\u2019t take an all-night meeting to have to go into those little petty shit things. But anybody talking about that garbage<\/i> bin, I never<\/i> interest myself in that garbage bin. I hardly\u2013 I had to stop here and think, I don\u2019t know the address of our church right now. It\u2019s on Geary Boulevard, but I don\u2019t know what the fuck add\u2013 the block it was in. Something. I don\u2019t care. No, it don\u2019t bother me. I\u2019m forgetting that, I want to forget the rest of it. And I don\u2019t<\/i> know the mayor\u2019s name of San Francisco. Don\u2019t know the son of a bitch. Can\u2019t even remember right now. I remember the one before<\/i> him, the old crook [Joseph] Alioto, but I\u2013 [George] Moscone<\/i>. Now I got it. Yes. (Unintelligible sentence) Thank you, darling. What\u2019s Neal [Neal Welcome aka Neal Touchette]? Neal wants to piss? Is that what somebody else is waving his hand about? Okay, Neal. You can go pee-pee. In Guyanese, if you please. (Pause) What reasons uh, do you feel, in your mind and heart, because some of you seem to have a reluctance to say this is our socialist land, (Stumbles over words). Talk about rules and regulations. How\u2019d you like go back there where they\u2019re trying to nail you to the cross? Hah<\/i>? If they weren\u2019t nailing you, nailing somebody else. How would you like to be there? Some of you gripe about the fucking rules all the time.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Huey Newton now has been set up on conspiracy<\/i> to murder. They didn\u2019t\u2013 wasn\u2019t satisfied they got him charged with the murder of a young teenager that never existed, they never have been able to find the corpus delecti. They don\u2019t even know if she had a beginning or an end<\/i>. They don\u2019t even know<\/i> the bitch. An invention of their capitalist mind<\/i>. And that wasn\u2019t enough to nail him on that<\/i>, so now they got him nailed with conspiracy to murder off the witnesses. He<\/i> wanted to go back too<\/i>. He don\u2019t now. (Pause) He\u2019s trying to find a way out<\/i>. But he\u2013 he had to go home to find<\/i> it. He thought he gone find justice<\/i> in the courts. A lot of you dumb ass liberals, you fuck face liberals and people who\u2019ve had the academic backgrounds, and some of our people had law background like Tim Stoen. I<\/i> think they\u2019ll give us justice! Yeah, justice\u2013 they\u2019re hunting<\/i> him in five continents right now. Dumb ass white\u2013 if he\u2019d been a little black, he wouldna wanted to went back to uh\u2013 for justice.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Just-us. That\u2019s right. Uh, Richard Pryor says, all you go, when you s\u2013 go to the courtroom, you see \u201cjust us.\u201d Just us. Just us black<\/i> folk. Just us poor<\/i> folk. They held a rally for Huey Newton the other day. There were 200 folk there. Two hundred people in the whole goddamned state of California. Two black folk. And our delegation was one-fourth<\/i> of the entire group, and the two<\/i> black folk were from our Temple. Wasn\u2019t a black<\/i> person standing up with uh\u2013 with Huey Newton in his trial. All the rest of them were white. Two<\/i> hundred of them. And most of them doing it \u2018cause they got a little money and they think they can afford to be different<\/i>. Hmm. (Aside) Blessed quietness. (Back to mike) Tell<\/i> me more about America, 1977, why you don\u2019t want to go back there. Or, if you do<\/i>, tell me why you want<\/i> to go back there, so we can re-educate your value system. Jerry [Wilson], what about you<\/i> tonight? They say you\u2019ve been doing better, you want to go back to America?<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>When the nuclear wars come, and they blast everything to dust, and you can\u2019t drink the water, and you won\u2019t be able to breathe the air, and you going back after it\u2019s been taken over by the socialists. What are you going to do? Your apartment will be blown to hell.<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>All right. I always thought\u2013 I was\u2013 It was always in my impression that uh, that some of us<\/i> would go back and help take over the States.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Well, it\u2013 it\u2013 after the radiation<\/i> sets, you know, I will, but there won\u2019t be anything alive. There\u2019ll be damn little alive in the United States. In caves, they\u2019ll come back out of caves, and most of them will be white<\/i>, \u2018cause us blacks will\u2013 all the ones that we didn\u2019t get the freedom, will all be blown up, because they don\u2019t give us no caves. They don\u2019t give us no bomb shelter, so I\u2019d be going back to help white folk. Now you want to give\u2013 make another case for me to go back there?<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>Uh\u2013 yeah, well, that\u2019s\u2013 that\u2019s true, but most of the white people that\u2019d be coming out would be a small minority, because there\u2019d be rich people that\u2019d be coming out so\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Okay. What\u2019re we going to do with the land when we get<\/i> it?<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>We\u2019d just\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Build you an apartment so you can, with the first month\u2019s check, buy you a car and the next month\u2019s check get you an apartment? I read\u2013 I read one of your notes, I think (Unintelligible word)\u2013 somewhere I got the impression your first check, you\u2019re\u2013 you\u2019re going to tell your mother that or something\u2013 your first check you\u2019re going to get your car. Anybody help you understand that what you don\u2019t do with the first check? You can\u2019t buy a fucking car if you\u2013 a year. Uh, then\u2013 uh, then the wheel fall off. If you buy it with one year\u2019s wages, the damn wheel<\/i>\u2019ll fall off.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>But I think the first thing\u2013 the first check you were going to buy a car and the second check you were going to do something else. I don\u2019t know what else. What\u2019re we going to do with it, Jer, after we get it?<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>Uh\u2013 Take it over and make it our own. Umm\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Have you ever heard about radiation, son?<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>I have.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>What are we going to do with it<\/i>?<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>I figured uh, we could just wait a while till the radiation cools down, then\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Well, I\u2019ll tell ya, son, your balls will have done shrunk up by the time that happen.<\/p>\n

Crowd: <\/b>(Laughs)<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>About fifty years. (Pause) I\u2019m not even talking about plutonium. Some of the worst by-products. I\u2019m talking about the major effects, uh\u2013 so it\u2019ll be safe to wander around. You\u2013 How old are you now?<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>18.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>You\u2019ll be 68 fucking years old. (Pause) And one\u2019ll hang lower than the other, and your knees will be bent.<\/p>\n

Crowd: <\/b>(Laughs)<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Uh\u2013 (Laughs) I like that, Jerry. You\u2019re getting on your way to recovery when you can laugh about it. (Laughs) Jerry laughed on that. He broke out in a\u2013 in a laugh. He quit it quick, but he laughed for a moment. (Laughs) And you won\u2019t be able to see<\/i>, because you\u2019ll be half blind, so how you going to drive that fucking car that you get on the first month\u2019s pay?<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>All right. I figure uh\u2013 I\u2013 I figure if\u2013 I figure if we go back and uh, probably kill off the white folks that uh\u2013 I mean\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>You\u2019re\u2013 you\u2019re (Unintelligible word), Jer. (Laughs)<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>Uh\u2013 uh\u2013 It\u2013 it would\u2013 it would be no sense<\/i> in uh, just letting good land go to waste, you know\u2013 I figure\u2013<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>\u2013we could use it.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>(laughing hard, unintelligible under laughter) We got 27,000 acres. Why the hell won\u2019t you (Unintelligible word) do something with this<\/i> land? (Laughs)<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>Well, I\u2013 I do\u2013 I\u2013 I\u2019ve been\u2013 I\u2019ve been working harder, so if I\u2013 I would like to contribute uh, to help develop this<\/i> land.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>(Unintelligible phrase) till you\u2019re 68. We\u2019ll let you go back.<\/p>\n

Crowd: <\/b>(Laughs)<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>Uh\u2013<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>But\u2013 but uh\u2013 in the meantime I figured uh, we could\u2013 it\u2013 it might uh\u2013 it wouldn\u2019t\u2013 it wouldn\u2019t really be nothing wrong, (Unintelligible word) I say we could set up little uh, c\u2013 colonies uh, in on\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>You\u2019re bound<\/i> to drag us in this, aren\u2019t you?<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>Well, if\u2013 if uh\u2013 say if\u2013 if the Soviet Union or\u2013 the Soviets\u2013 the Soviet Union\u2013<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>I\u2013 I\u2013 I figure the congregation here would uh\u2013 go back and run things and just, you know\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>There\u2019s eight hundred of us. That would mean one in every county.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>You better ask (unintelligible name) about a few Indians, that\u2019s what we\u2019ll do\u2013<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>\u2013half\u2013 half\u2013 half of us stay here and the other half, like say go through a\u2013 a small state like uh, New Jersey or something like that, and uh\u2013<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>\u2013what\u2019s ever left of us take\u2013 I mean, take it over, uh\u2013 \u2018cause if\u2013 if we don\u2019t\u2013 if we don\u2019t\u2013 if we don\u2019t take it over, the\u2013 the\u2013 the countries that won the war\u2019ll probably come in\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Well, let them<\/i> do it. Jesus Christ. They got radiation shields and all that kind of stuff, and radiation counteracting medication. Hell, I ain\u2019t fucking with that mess.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>(Unintelligible phrase) You\u2013 you\u2019ve got the United States in your\u2013 You got it all (Unintelligible word)\u2013<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>Uh\u2013 Well, I\u2013 I really\u2013 At the present time I\u2013 I really don\u2019t want to go back\u2013 Only I\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Jerry\u2013<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>I want to go back for the reason uh, to uh, just to take it over, you know. But not\u2013 I mean, just\u2013 not me by myself, I mean\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>You want\u2013 I know! (Laughs)<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>You want to take 799 more<\/i> of us, I know, I heard you.<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>I mean\u2013 just uh\u2013 just uh\u2013 just\u2013 I figured just take\u2013 take what\u2013 what\u2019s left of us\u2013 take it over because the white\u2013 the people that will survive<\/i> uh, they really won\u2019t be enough to uh\u2013 to keep people out, you know, to fight\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>No, they won\u2019t. There won\u2019t be enough to keep anybody out, but they\u2013 in toothless swaths of their long, stringy white hair coming down the sides of their faces, I don\u2019t know whether they\u2019re worth taking over.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Their balls all radiated away and sunk up in \u2018em.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>You got to r\u2013 you got to the\u2013 the satisfaction will be that they\u2019ll all be melted away, and a lot of good people will be melted with<\/i> them. Those honkies that we hate, and ought to, those oppressors are all going to be wiped out. There\u2019ll be damn few of them, and they have to stay in their caves forever. What\u2019re they going to come out to?<\/p>\n

Jerry: <\/b>Uh, I\u2013 I figure they\u2019ll come out to uh\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Yeah, here\u2019s a\u2013 here\u2019s a radiologist\u2013 Yeah, let him tell you a little better. He\u2019s a what\u2013 charge of x-ray.<\/p>\n

Radiologist:<\/b> Jerry, I want to ask you something. Do you know what radiation burn is? Have you ever seen it? It\u2019s a sore that never heals. There\u2019s no healing for it, even though your body would finally die from it. (unintelligible) if they drop a bomb, but it depends on which type of bomb they drop. The least<\/i> one is fifty years. The longest one is sixteen hundred<\/i> years. (unintelligible) this\u2013 this is what you\u2019re going to farm. Now if it\u2019s\u2013 if it\u2019s half well off, we\u2019ll go back there \u2013 you bet your ass \u2013 because that\u2019s where we came from. But as\u2013 as he described, it\u2019s a very low, low chance that it\u2019s going to be the kind of place that we find anything but cockroaches and mud. And rain with the grains, it\u2019ll rain radiation that\u2019ll peel your skin off. If you get out in the sun, you can only be out for 30 minutes a day<\/i> for several\u2013 several months after a nuclear holocaust has passed by 25 to 50 years. That don\u2019t sound like living to me. We\u2019re in a place where there\u2019s natural protection against it. There\u2019s no radiation coming our way. The wind currents have been kind to us. There\u2019s none of it\u2019s fallen in this jungle. And we\u2019ve got all<\/i> the room in the world to go further south if we want to and settle any place we want to. \u2018Cause all this so-called governmental bureaucratic shithead systems will be completely overthrown and dropped. We can go wherever we want to. And 800 strong<\/i>, make a hell of an army. You saw\u2013 and we oughta review a mighty, mighty, mighty (Unintelligible word, sounds like \u201corphan\u201d). We oughta review that film Only One Blade of Grass<\/i>. You saw what about 25 did, as they worked their way up to the best land that there was left. Eight hundred<\/i> of us working ourselves together\u2013 and that\u2019s why we ought to get our wrinkles ironed out, our difficulties, so we can be one people, because we can go goddamned near anyplace we want to go. You\u2019re right there. We could go damn near anyplace<\/i> we want to go, if we\u2019re 800 strong. But some fucker thinks he can do it better with 25, and he can split off this and that, then we\u2019ll be in trouble. But 800 against anybody<\/i> is a formidable foe. Formidable<\/i>. I don\u2019t think some of \u2018em relate to that. And thank you, son, I was just using you as kind of a reference point, and I\u2013 I appreciate the growth I\u2019ve seen in these last few days. They have absolute proof that they were willing to expend her, to have her killed, knowing that full well that somebody in my movement might\u2013 would want to kill her for all she\u2019s done to me. And she\u2019s too stupid not to realize that. One man has already turned evidence against us, has come to him. It\u2019s come to him. We have reliable information through Dennis Banks and his friend Lee [Lehman] Brightman, he\u2019s moving furniture back and forth from door to door, to window to window, his stupid (unintelligible) was going to assassinate me. They\u2019re going to finally assassinate me. Because he realizes what he did to us, that\u2019s [David] Conn<\/i>, the man you saw on TV, \u2019s gone madder than uh, the March Hare. He\u2019s crazier than a\u2013 than a loon<\/i>. He hasn\u2019t got his marbles yet. You remember Conn that got on behind him? The\u2013 the Treasury agent behind him? Well, he\u2019s crazy now. You\u2013 I mean he\u2019s moving furniture<\/i>. Shoves furniture from door to door, and window to window, \u2018cause he said Peoples Temple gonna get me. And he ought to\u2019ve thought of that before he started it.<\/p>\n

Jones: \u2018<\/b>Cause the Treasury<\/i> Department thought of it. They had\u2013 they knew\u2013 they knew how ferocious we were. They knew that blessed one of them that used uh\u2013 all them Cobb [Conn] murderers, all of them, ought to have enough sense to know that if there\u2019s one of us left alive, they would never<\/i> get by with their shit.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Peace. Some of \u2018em\u2013 some of \u2018em are setting there thinking, well, I got by all this time so it\u2019s nothing. But old Mr. Conn\u2019s got his shit together better than the rest<\/i> of \u2018em, because he\u2019s thinking well, hell<\/i>, that don\u2019t mean nothing<\/i>. Be just like<\/i> \u2018em to wait a long time<\/i>. He knows Jim Jones better than some others<\/i>. Hmm?<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>If I pulled some shit on him today, and nothing happened tomorrow. Nothing happened next week. You ain\u2019t out of trouble. Jim Jones got a mem\u2013 a memory like an elephant. And if he hasn\u2019t, he has several followers that do<\/i> have.<\/p>\n

You did this, you did that. Just tell me, what\u2013 just put a word in the newspaper, and I\u2019ll do anything you ask me to do. Well, I haven\u2019t done it, but you think there\u2019re people going to set there and let this shit go by?<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>No. Some of them couldn\u2019t come because they got husbands that they feel\u2013 that they want to save, but they really got more guilt and that makes\u2013 that guilt makes them want to do something to try to prove<\/i> something. Now I mean nothing\u2013 I\u2019m organizing. I\u2019m not organizing, because I don\u2019t give a shit about these people. Those enemies. Let them\u2013 Living will be their own reward. The longer they w\u2013 they live, the more their minds gone torture<\/i> their goddamned ass, \u2018cause they\u2019ve got nothing to live for<\/i> and they\u2019ve got no purposes<\/i> to survive for. We have. We got our children to keep us going every day and keep our head<\/i> straight. Got to keep your head straight. Jones: <\/b>They\u2019ve been tempted to mess with uh, Chris Lewis<\/i>. Chris Lewis is a shithead, I know how much of a shithead he is, but when it comes to me, he\u2019ll go too far, and he just as soon as kill his own mother. I ain\u2019t kidding you, last night, he just said he kill his own mother.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>Fuck with him too far, and he\u2019ll\u2013 because he remembers one thing I did for him. And he\u2019s no\u2013 he\u2019s an anarchist, so he don\u2019t organize his life, but he\u2019s\u2013 he\u2019ll push too far. Everybody better hope I live long. Jones: <\/b>Whole lot of folk I got out of jail you don\u2019t even know about. So they\u2013 they\u2019re going to get their own reward. They\u2019re suffering every day right now because they don\u2019t have anything to live<\/i> for. Every day we know what we\u2019re doing<\/i>, like Jerry. When he\u2019s got somethin\u2019 to do, gets up and has a purpose. Look how different he looks. Cleaned up, head on straight, talking with sense, even able to laugh for the first time I\u2019ve ever seen him laugh.<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>That\u2019s one of the indications of those who are disturbed. They cannot laugh. (Pause) If you can\u2019t laugh, you better go look in the mirror until you can laugh. \u2018Cause if we can\u2019t laugh at ourselves we are (short laugh) in bad shape. He told us the reason why not to go back. Want to throw somebody in jail. What other prophet has to speak? Yes.<\/p>\n

Just sell it. And by the way, our church was sold. I\u2013 they want\u2013 they wanted to pay a hundred fifty thousand dollars for the church in Redwood Valley, and I said oh, no. Said by five o\u2019clock, if you don\u2019t take it, we won\u2019t buy\u2013 I said oh, no. You ain\u2019t buying, we\u2019re not selling that way. I said if I\u2013 (Stumbles over words) You want to buy it? It\u2019s a hundred seventy five thousand dollars, cash. They won\u2019t buy it. Well, that did it. They bought it for exactly what I told them they had to buy it for.<\/p>\n
