The Jonestown Express performs before a live audience, presumably in Jonestown. Two of the songs are instrumental, and a couple seem to be original compositions. The songs also include a straightforward rendition of \u201cEverybody\u2019s Talkin\u2019 At Me\u201d by Nilsson. Two other songs \u2013 Joe Cocker\u2019s \u201cYou Are So Beautiful\u201d and Dion\u2019s \u201cAbraham, Martin and John\u201d \u2013 have been altered slightly. The former extols Guyana instead of a lover, the second celebrates black and foreign leaders who have been assassinated, as well as Guyana\u2019s national hero, Cuffy.<\/p>\n

In connection with the Federal Bureau of Investigation\u2019s investigation into the assassination of U.S. Congressman LEO J. RYAN at Port Kaituma, Guyana, South America, on November 18, 1978, a tape recording was obtained. This tape recording was located in Jonestown, Guyana, South America, and was turned over to U.S. Officials in Guyana and subsequently transported to the United States.<\/p>\n

On June 3, 1979, Special Agent (name deleted) reviewed the tape numbered 1B93-99. This tape was found to contain the following:<\/p>\n
