Using the example of Chile\u2019s recent history as a point of departure, an article \u2013 read by Jim Jones \u2013 warns of the rise of fascism in South America.<\/p>\n

The tape was recorded in Jonestown. There are no references to any current events to give it a context.<\/p>\n

In connection with the Federal Bureau of Investigation\u2019s investigation into the assassination of U.S. Congressman LEO J. RYAN at Port Kaituma, Guyana, South America, on November 18, 1978, a tape recording was obtained. This tape recording was located in Jonestown, Guyana, South America, and was turned over to U.S. Officials in Guyana and subsequently transported to the United States.<\/p>\n

On June 10, 1979, Special Agent (name deleted) reviewed the tape numbered 1B102-C26. This tape was found to contain the following: Side A containing Russian words and phrases and a JONES lecture on \u201cFascism\u201d. Side B contains a few songs, but is largely blank.<\/p>\n
