Jones:<\/b> You know, our minds\u2013 they are or they may be entirely under our own control. You can let this mind be in you, which was in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, considered it not robbery to be equal with God [Philippians 2:5-6]<\/span>. We may permit to enter and remain in our minds only the thoughts as we choose. We have the power to drop out of our mind all discordant, inharmonious or fearful thoughts, just as we have the power to drop from our hands a hot iron or some other undesirable substance that we do not care to retain. Now for a moment, let the Christ mind come forth. We don\u2019t meditate here often, but our meditation therapy can be extremely helpful. Go back into your consciousness and think of the most refreshing water you\u2019ve ever seen flowing \u2013 a rippling brook or a cool stream or a falls coming over a cliff \u2013 and just imagine your mind being cleansed. Cleansed from the self. Cleansed from your worries and your fears. Forget all things which are behind, everything that\u2019s been done to you \u2013 there\u2019s no use to remember it \u2013 and for a moment, just remember everything that is true. Whatsoever things are honest. Whatsoever things are just. Whatsoever things are pure. Whatsoever things are lovely. Whatsoever things are of good report. If there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these. Think on the lovely children, that you have their health. Think on the companion that has been faithful. Think on the blessings of food that you were able to eat today, when not so many miles away, people are starving to death. And as you think on your abundance, it\u2019ll cause you to think more about doing something about those that don\u2019t have.<\/p>\n

Yes, my children, forget those things which are behind. Let the Holy Ghost wash out all the hurts, wash away the images you hold of people. They cannot grow. Your loved ones cannot grow because you hold them in a certain image. Let the Spirit wash it away. And now, let the mind of Christ resurrect within you the mind that is God, and feel that gushing energy, that life-force, that illumination, that water-like remission that\u2019s moving through your mind, (voice climbs) cleansing it, cleansing out the cobwebs in the name of Jesus. Just send that same power that\u2019s now in you, send it down to every troubled organ. Send it to the heart and say, heart, you\u2019re going to beat more soundly. Just visualize a good heart, see rich, red blood, rich, red tissues, a great pumping organ and say, I\u2019m blessing you, heart. I love you in the name of Jesus, and I bless my heart. I bless my stomach. I bless every n\u2013 aching knee, every joint, all those old bones and marrow, I bless them with the stream of God\u2019s love, I let it flow (Ministerial rises and falls) down into every joint and every marrow of my bodily form. (glossolalia) For I\u2019m hid with Christ in God. I\u2019m made in his image [ref. to Colossians 3:2-4].<\/span> Once you recognize that truth, that there is involved in each of us all the wonderful possibilities of the infinite, just as the possibilities of the oak and the forest are involved in the acorn [ref. to Isaiah 6:13]<\/span>, then we shall take pleasure in the fact, to make it the business of our lives to evolve our characters into the likeness, into the image and likeness<\/i> of God Almighty. Let his image and likeness come forth in you. He said, if you keep my sayings, you shall live [para. of John 14:23-24]. I have come to give you life and life more abundantly now in the abundance of God\u2019s presence [para. of John 10:10-11].<\/span> (glossolalia) I affirm peace and power, poise and purity, prosperity and blessings, health, yes, plenty to every joint, to every cell, to every sinew, to every part of my bodily form, to every part of my psychological and physiological and mental form, \u2018cause I know God who\u2019s able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I am able to ask or to think. Just take time for a moment to affirm in your silence, in your silence speak the word, speak the word to whatever troubled organ you have. Speak the word to the troubled worlds of finances. Say, I overcome because the Christ is in me. I\u2019m the Temple of the Holy Ghost [para. of 1 Corinthians 6:19-20]<\/span>, the Spirit of the living God dwells in me [John 14:10]<\/span> and I can do all<\/i> things through Christ that strengtheneth me [Philippians 4:13]<\/span>. (glossolalia)<\/p>\n

Out in the world through the therapies, they give themselves anesthesia through just suggestion of a surgeon. They don\u2019t have to have any anesthesia, no painkillers for surgery. Women are able to take a suggestion and cause their breasts to grow, according to Time<\/i> magazine and Newsweek<\/i>, to grow the shape they want, for their vain and worldly pleasure. How much more can you visualize a good heart? See it right now<\/i>! See it pumping good blich [rich] blood. How more can you see your brain, and say I cleanse<\/i> it from the cholesterol and the impediments, all the sickening cholesterol that\u2019s blocking the passage of the rich blood that\u2019s harmonizing throughout all my body<\/i>! For I have the mind of Christ and my body, my body is the church<\/i> of God [ref. to Colossians 1:24]! My body is the Temple<\/i> of the Holy Ghost [para. of 1 Corinthians 6:19-20]!<\/span> (glossolalia) Great God Almighty. Great God Almighty, your m\u2013 organs now should be functioning better. You\u2019ll be feeling the response worthy that you\u2019ve desired, if you\u2019ve entered into this with a real holiness of heart. If you\u2019ve desired with earnestness that the Holy Spirit has filled you with the vibrations and illuminated your mind with harmony, wisdom and love, while in this little conference that we\u2019ve had, then God<\/i> has come forth. He\u2019s come forth in your temple and you feel richer, and he\u2019ll take<\/i> the pain<\/i> away from your body. Just put your hand, because your hand\u2019s anointed with God\u2019s <\/i>presence, just put your hand<\/i> on your body and say in the name of<\/i> Jesus, I heal my body! In the name<\/i> of Jesus. Jones:<\/b> (Clears throat) Mmm\u2013 That\u2019s what I\u2019m here. Some have come for various reasons, but I have come here, sit right down here amongst you on this barber chair. Some are trying to ignore this supernatural presence, but I have come to show you God is within you because God is within me <\/i>[ref. to Luke 17:21. See also Luke 10:9-11]!<\/span> We are sick<\/i> because we discern not the Lord\u2019s body. You\u2019re trying to ignore God\u2019s omniscience and omnipresence. Just recognize him. He lifted me up when I was shot down. The nurses and medical people put their fingers in my chest and said I couldn\u2019t live, but I said this is the body of God!<\/i><\/p>\n

Congregation<\/b>: (Scattered response)<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> And I affirmed that I should live, and I stepped up at Sunday night last August and preached all night and counseled all night<\/i>! Raised people up from their diseases, healed one of our young men, brother Joe Helle, of a epileptic seizure because I knew that my body was God\u2019s. (Voice quietens, then rises) Yes, it\u2019s God\u2019s. You cannot ignore it. When they hit me with the truck because their racist hatred, and they said my right leg would never move, you seen me jump off this platform time and again. I can run. The youngsters, even the best football players keepin\u2019 up with me last night as I run around the blocks. There\u2019s not a\u2013 not a thing wrong with any joint in my body, because I refuse to accept what man<\/i> said, and I saw my body as a Temple of the Holy<\/i> Ghost!<\/span> (Voice quietens, then rises) Yes, it\u2019s all right. You can\u2019t ignore God\u2019s presence, and you will recognize it if you\u2019re in God. (Pause) (Quietens) Yes, God Almighty. He said you\u2019d never be without a temple, so you\u2019re his temple because I\u2019m his temple [para. of 1 Corinthians 6:19-20]<\/span>. I know what it is to go through death. I know what it is, seventeen years ago when Dr. O\u2019Thomas said I had to die with cancer. (Voice climbs throughout) I said this is the Temple of the Holy Ghost. I\u2019ve got a black child [Jim Jones, Jr.] I wanted to adopt. I\u2019ve got children I want to rear. I had an Indian child I wanted to grow up. I said all these babies, I didn\u2019t bring \u2018em to the world to leave them fatherless, and so I said doctor, give me another test. He wouldn\u2019t let me out. He told my wife [Marceline Jones], who\u2019s a registered nurse, to expect me to die. I said, put those tubes down again and you\u2019ll find the hydrochloric acid is there. Take those x-rays again and he said (cries out) it\u2019s amazing!<\/i><\/p>\n

Congregation<\/b>: (Scattered response)<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> He said, the acid\u2019s flowing\u2013 The\u2013 the\u2013 all that thickening that was an inch thick around your stomach wall is (cries out) gone<\/i>! He said the cancer\u2019s (cries out) gone<\/i>! Because I saw my body, my body as a Temple of the Holy Ghost [para. of 1 Corinthians 6:19-20]<\/span>. I want you to learn a little bit from me. (Ministerial cadence) If you want to see God, you<\/i> can see God! He\u2019s able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you able to ask or think. Have you ever asked to see God? Well, I\u2019m here to tell ya, blessed <\/i>are the pure<\/i> in heart! Blessed <\/i>are the pure <\/i>in heart! Blessed <\/i>are the pure<\/i> in heart! For they shall see God [Matthew 5:8].<\/span> Oh yes. (Conversational tone) You either believe God or you don\u2019t. He said he\u2019s able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you\u2019re able to ask or to think [para. of Ephesians 3:20]<\/span>. Many times you\u2019ve said I\u2019d like to see Jesus. I\u2019ve heard about him. I\u2019d like to see him walk again. I\u2019ve heard of the great miracles of the apostles of old. I\u2019d like to be back there where the dead could rise. This past year \u2013 less than a year\u2019s gone by \u2013 and fifteen have been raised from the dead right in our meetings. You\u2019ve seen the dead raised. And Sister Henry who came here, we took her up to our home from Los Angeles \u2013 right back there \u2013 she was in our senior citizen home. But before that she was in a home, she was dying<\/i>. She left the\u2013 the total<\/i> loss of pulse and respirations, but the Spirit showed me where she was.<\/p>\n

Congregation<\/b>: (Scattered response)<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> And people in this home down here, had lost the number, but the Spirit showed me where she was, and a phone was put to her ear and she was raised up, right on the floor, brought back to life. But fifteen\u2013 she wasn\u2019t one in the public meeting, I\u2019m talkin\u2019 about fifteen. Here\u2019s two of \u2018em right on the front row, two that\u2019ve been brought back from the dead. And you saw the same Spirit reach out and say, come back, come back<\/i> from the dead, come back<\/i> from the dead, and they come up from the dead. Just on Tuesday night you saw it happen again. Whatcha talkin\u2019 about? He said he\u2019s (sings word) a-ble\u2013 he\u2019s (sings word) a-ble\u2013 he\u2019s (sings word) a-ble. Ah, yes. (Pause) The Spirit of your Father that speaketh in you. It\u2019s the Spirit of your Father. It\u2019s the Spirit of God that speaketh to you today. These things I cannot do<\/i> of myself. But I have heard the Spirit speak [para. of Matthew 10:20]<\/span> and I expressly exonerate and reveal that which the Holy Ghost is doing. Blessings. (glossolalia)<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> If I had not come this morning, and some of you had not demonstrated the Spirit of God, those had not been called out and healed, like this brother\u2013 the cancerous, bloody mass you saw him pass when they went in and saved his loved ones, saved even one across the seas (tape distorts) as I remember, across the seas. Even though a stranger to me, he said the Word of God, the Word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword, it\u2019s a discerner of the thought and the intents of the heart [ref. to Hebrews 4:12]<\/span>. The Word of God\u2019s not written, because King James, the King of England, who sent the Good Ship Jesus to bring back slaves, he\u2019s the last one that wrote<\/i> the word, for the letter then kills<\/i> but the Spirit maketh alive [2 Corinthians 3:6].<\/span><\/p>\n

Congregation<\/b>: (Scattered response) (organ\/piano music starts playing)<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> But, oh, the Word of God. The Word of God that said that I\u2019ll be with you always, even unto the end of the world [Matthew 28:20]<\/span>. That Word of God reached out here this morning and reached out last night, growth after growth, reached out to woman for twelve and a half years, crippled, she come down the aisles<\/i>! Couldn\u2019t hardly move<\/i>\u2013 Come\u2013 Couldn\u2019t get out of her seat alone<\/i>, but the Spirit got her that high, and then somebody interfered, but I said keep comin\u2019, sister, because I command you to keep comin\u2019, and before she finished, you all saw her, she was runnin\u2019<\/i>! She was runnin\u2019<\/i>! (Ministerial cadence and singing) Twelve<\/i> and a half years\u2013 twelve and a half years, she hadn\u2019t been able to walk. Twelve and half years after a terrible automobile accident. Twelve and half years that her hip had been crushed and they couldn\u2019t even set it back. A woman in her advanced seventies. But she (cries out) run <\/i>like a new woman, and ten people come out of wheelchairs, just like a snap<\/i> of the finger, they came walkin\u2019 out of their wheelchairs. What\u2019cha talkin\u2019 about<\/i>? This is that, this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel [Acts 2:16, recalling Joel 2:28-29]<\/span>. This is that\u2013 this is that, my child (sings), this is that. I come to show you that God\u2019s no longer invisible, but he\u2019s real\u2013 I said he\u2019s real.<\/i><\/p>\n

Congregation<\/b>: (Scattered response and applause)<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> He would\u2019ve been dormant, he would\u2019ve been dormant if I had not come to some of you this morning. That man would\u2019ve had to lay in that chair that I saw him. Don\u2019t\u2013 though he was a stranger to me, he\u2019d had to lay in that chair and die when that cancer caused him to hemorrhage. He\u2019d had to (cries out) die, <\/i>but God would\u2019ve been dormant to him, but I came on the wings of the morning in Los Angeles [ref. to Psalm 139:9-10]<\/span>, in the name of Jesus.<\/i> I came<\/i> in the name of Jesus, I lifted up<\/i> the name of Jesus, I glorified<\/i> the name of Jesus. Oh yes. And God\u2019s no longer invisible. God is no longer visible but the (draws out word) Word, the Word is made flesh and dwells amongst (draws out word) us. Some of you know the Word is made flesh [para. of John 1:14].<\/span> I said, some of you know <\/i>what I\u2019m talkin\u2019 about, and the more you recognize of God, the more God will be reproduced in you, for I have come<\/i>, not as thirty percent, not as sixtyfold, but I have come as a hundredfold, I have come<\/i> in the dispensation of the fullness<\/i> of time, I have come<\/i> as the essence of truth, and I presented my body as my reasonable sacrifice, wholly <\/i>acceptable under God [para. of Ephesians 1:9-10], and now it\u2019s a hundredfold, it\u2019s a hundredfold. One hundred percent God Almighty God <\/i>[ref. to Mark 4:20, Matthew 13:8]<\/span>! (Pause) (Calms, then voice slowly picks up ministerial cadence) Hallelujah. Spirit of God, and not another. God\u2019s<\/i> here! The great God, the great I am, the ancient of days, the everlasting Father, the alpha and omega, the beginning and the ending<\/i> [para. of Revelation 22:13].<\/span> The same God that walked with Moses, the same God that Solomon said, they saw him! Said I saw the color of his hair, and Isaiah said, 7:20, after that day<\/i> he will shave with a razor. The same God<\/i>! The same God and not another [ref. to Isaiah 7:20]<\/span>. He\u2019s walkin\u2019 right here. He\u2019s movin\u2019 right in our bodies, because we\u2019re the Temples of the Holy Ghost. I said I come to show you that you\u2019re the Temples of the Holy Ghost [ref. to 1 Corinthians 6:19-20].<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus said\u2013 said, by what authority do you do these things? I do it by the authority that God is livin\u2019 in me, that I have come in my Father\u2019s name [para. of Matthew 21:23-46; Mark 11: 27-33; Luke 20].<\/span> I have heard the words of Jesus. He said be one, even as I and my Father are one [John 10:30]<\/span>. I\u2019m living in the oneness of God. I\u2019m standing here in the name of Jesus. I\u2019ve lifted up the standard of Jesus, and I speak <\/i>in the authority of Jesus, and I can heal you, I can raise<\/i> you from the dead<\/i>. He said whatsoever I bind shall be bound, whatsoever I loose<\/i> shall be loosed [Matthew 18:18]<\/span>. (Calms) Paul said, one place he said, forgive them their sins. As you forgive them, I forgive them also. And he said, I forgive you in the person. Don\u2019t think that\u2019s in the book? You go read it. It\u2019s in the book. Look up \u201cperson.\u201d I forgive you in the person, he said, of Jesus Christ. Because the person was living in him [ref. to 2 Corinthians 2:10].<\/span><\/p>\n

Voice in crowd:<\/b> Yeah!<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> You see, (Unintelligible word)\u2013 This is the marvelous mystery of Christ in you, the hope of glory [Colossians 1:27]. I\u2019ve told you that you can be the Temple of God [para. of 1 Corinthians 6:19-20].<\/span> I\u2019ve told you that you are the bishop of your salvation, for God\u2019s on the throne of your heart. I come sleepin\u2019 on the floor of this stage, just like I do every night. Don\u2019t own a car. Don\u2019t own any clothes. Same clothes you see under these used choir robes. I come adopting eight children [Jim Jones, Jr., Agnes Jones, Lew Jones, Stephanie Jones, Suzanne Jones]. I come without any new furniture, don\u2019t own a home, don\u2019t own a car. I come tellin\u2019 you, as the poorest among many men, that you can be rich. (Cries out) Oh yes<\/i>, you can be rich. (Tape edit) No matter what you wanna bargain for, when I come along, you get Jesus. Come along feedin\u2019 the hungry. Takin\u2019 their most hardship cases right outta here that\u2019ve been on drugs. Takin\u2019 the older people that had no homes right outta Los Angeles, and give them quiet resting places. I\u2019ve identified with (tape distortion, edit)\u2013 I decided there was nothin\u2019 in Jim Jones worth livin\u2019, so I let Christ live in me. Christ<\/i> is livin\u2019 in this body. One hundred percent. Why be content (tape distortion) for thirty percent, sixty percent\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> God<\/i> is living in this tabernacle<\/i>. Christ is in me<\/i>, as he is in you<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Congregation<\/b>: (Scattered cheers)<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> (Voice rises throughout) And it\u2019s as much personafiable as you wish<\/i> it to be. You can have thirty percent God, sixty percent God or one-hundred<\/i> fold if you want to be. You can be one hundred percent yielded to God Almighty. You can be crucified<\/i> with Christ, nevertheless you will live, yet not you, but Christ that liveth in you<\/i> [para. of Galatians 2:20]!<\/span> That makes you one-hundred percent God Almighty! (Voice quietens, then rises throughout) That\u2019s the marvelous message of the Unitarian concept of the Godhead, that God is one and that he is the oneness and that the fullness of the Godhead bodily dwelleth in us, that the same Jesus<\/i> is in us [ref. to Colossians 2:9]. Paul wanted us to get that message in second Corinthians, the tenth verse in the se\u2013 second chapter where he said, uh, what you forgive, I<\/i> forgive. I forgive it also<\/i>. Whatsoever you bind, I<\/i> bind. I do<\/i> it, in the name? No<\/i>. He said I do<\/i> it in the person<\/i> of Christ<\/i>! I have reincarnated<\/i> the very personality<\/i>! I\u2019m in the first<\/i> person! I\u2019m speaking<\/i> in the \u201cI am<\/i>\u201d consciousness! I\u2019m speaking with the Word in me <\/i>[ref. to 2 Corinthians 2:10]!<\/span><\/p>\n

Congregation<\/b>: (Scattered cheers)<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> Now you can speak as a servant<\/i>, or you can be as a friend<\/i>, Jesus said, you can be a teacher and have a teacher\u2019s reward, you can see God manifest through your brother and sister in varying degrees<\/i> of consciousness<\/i>, but what you see is what you get.<\/p>\n

Congregation<\/b>: (Laughter)<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> If you see me\u2013 if you see me as just an ordinary friend, I\u2019ll be the best friend in the world. Someone through the Valley dropped in dogs yesterday, I took them all in. I\u2019m a friend<\/i> of every dog, a friend<\/i> of every human, I\u2019ve adopted eight children, whatever you bring me, I will be a friend to you. But a friend<\/i> cannot raise the dead. I\u2019ll be a friend<\/i>, but a friend<\/i> cannot cause the cancers that came out \u2013 like Sister Andrews right out of her throat \u2013 here on the altar not so long ago.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> A friend cannot bring that out<\/i>! A friend might want <\/i>to, but a friend can\u2019t! But when you\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> (Voice climbs throughout)\u00a0 You see, this apostolic ministry that is req\u2013 absolutely requisite for the perfection of the saints, apostles, pastors, teachers, evangelists which are necessary for the perfecting<\/i> of the saints [para. of Ephesians 4:7-8, 11-12], you can\u2019t be perfected through the reading<\/i> of the Word, you cannot be perfected by anything but by the hearing<\/i> of the Word, faith cometh by hearing,<\/i> and hearing<\/i> by the Word<\/i> of God [para. of Romans 10:14-15, 17]<\/span> and the Word is sharper than a two-edged sword and what does it do? It discerns the thoughts and knows the intents of the heart [ref. to Hebrews 4:12]<\/span>. And in every meeting for twenty-some years, I have been discerning the thoughts of the mind and knowing the intents of the heart, because the Word is now made flesh and dwells amongst us, Christ in us, the hope of glory [para. of John 1:14]<\/span>!<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> (Calls out) I\u2019m letting God<\/i> have his way, and the more you see God in me and in one another, the more you\u2019re gonna reproduce God in yourself!<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> (Voice moderates) I don\u2019t mind what<\/i> you call me. You can call me that old hillbilly<\/i> if you want to, but I\u2019ll just be a hillbilly to you. Be a friendly<\/i> hillbilly. Be a kind<\/i> hillbilly, \u2018cause I was born in the hills. Proud of it. I found nothing in the\u2013 in the so-called sedated valleys and sophisticated valleys that make me ever sorry that I was born in the hills. I\u2019m glad for the shanty background. I learned a lot of things uh\u2013 I met God, I\u2019ll tell ya, I had to meet<\/i> God, some of you\u2019ve met God more quickly if you hadna had so much ease<\/i>. When I had to go to the bathroom, I had to walk half mile, back then you\u2019d feel the winds<\/i> in many<\/i> places.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> You\u2019d feel the chill of the night air<\/i>, and you\u2019d better find God someplace,<\/i> or you wouldn\u2019t live<\/i>!<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> So I learned to find God<\/i> in those places. When you had to go over the hill a mile to carry your water<\/i>, you had a lot of time to think about<\/i> God<\/i>! I never would buy a TV because it programizes <\/i>you! You just build in to a malfunctioning sed\u2013 sedentary life where you don\u2019t use your muscles, and your muscles atrophy, and you don\u2019t use your mind<\/i> even. What gonna happen when you get this stirred up in you<\/i>? And we get this re-created<\/i> what I\u2019m gone do? You don\u2019t know what I\u2019m up to, but I\u2013 I know what I\u2019m up to. I heard what he said, bringing many (cries out) sons<\/i> unto glory [ref. to Hebrews 2:10]. We\u2019re gonna disperse<\/i> this Christ and re-distribute<\/i> this Christ [ref. to 2 Corinthians 9:9-10]<\/span>, and they\u2019re gonna maybe think they\u2019re gonna get Jim Jones, and then Jim Jones will pop up there, and they\u2019ll knock him off there, and he\u2019ll be over there<\/i>! In the Hebrew, it means the come forter, the \u201cwith fortis,\u201d \u201ccum forte,\u201d with bravery. It\u2019s not comfort like a quilt. Some of you think the Holy Ghost is a quilt<\/i> to put you to sleep<\/i>. It\u2019s cum forte. (Cries out) With strength! With power! With anointing! The Holy Ghost is the essence of truth,<\/i> and it\u2019s a he. When he \u2013 the Spirit of truth \u2013 is come, he<\/i> will lead you and guide you into all truth [John 16:13].<\/span> (Quietens) It\u2019s not an it, but it\u2019s a he. Let\u2019s not forget. I said, let\u2019s not forget where we have been and what we have seen. When we were thrown out of the churches, and we had to be out in this field<\/i> two years ago, over\u2013 just a little over<\/i>, we were out in the winter all winter long, but not a drop of rain dropped on our bodies. The cars drove up<\/i>, and as the cars drove up \u2013 you know<\/i> you were there \u2013 you drove in from the factories, Masonite, the rain would be fallin\u2019 in torrents<\/i> upon you, but when you came in where we were sitting, (cries out) there wasn\u2019t a drop of rain that fell on our heads. We were out with the wind<\/i>, but I tell you, if you\u2019ll believe in the actual conscious presence of God, it\u2019s the source of all<\/i> supply, (in full throat) it can and it will and it does satisfy every good desire [ref. to Philippians 4:15-20]<\/span>. (Calms) So why don\u2019t you recognize where God is, and quit<\/i> this foolishness, and look it up, look within. The righteousness which is of faith sayeth not in thine heart who shall ascend into heaven and bring him down, but who shall descend into deep and bring him up. What sayeth if the Word is nigh thee<\/i>, even in thy<\/i> mouth and in thy heart [para. of Romans 10:4-10]. What is the Word? In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God [John 1:1],<\/span> and the Word is made flesh. In a moment, you shall see the Word made flesh [para. of John 1:14]<\/span>. And that\u2019s what I want you to do. If I\u2019ve come for anything, it\u2019s to make you realize that you are sons and daughters of God. When they took Jesus and were going to persecute him, he said, for what good work do you stone me? You can\u2019t receive me for my namesake<\/i>, receive me for my worksake<\/i> [ref. to John 10:24-33]<\/span>. But I wonder about these churches, when the tavern keeper down here who loves us because of the good we do for human beings, he warns us about one of the churches<\/i>. (Short laugh) One of the Trinitarian churches gonna bomb<\/i> us. (Laughs) What\u2019s that\u2013 Now what kinda thing is this? Who warned us? The tavern keeper.<\/p>\n

(Pause) Said, they take in the animals and adopt the children<\/i>. They clothe the needy<\/i>. Said, they\u2019re good people<\/i>. So who called us? A preacher<\/i>? No, your preacher\u2019s not gonna call you, they\u2019re the one trying to kill<\/i> ya. You don\u2019t need to worry about the church. It\u2019s always<\/i> gonna lose its first love, just about ten, twenty, fifty years, it\u2019ll lose<\/i> its first love. It always does that. Institutions kill<\/i> God. So I don\u2019t believe in institutions, don\u2019t believe in robes, don\u2019t believe in badges of authority and position, don\u2019t believe in uh, uh, orders and stratums and denominations, \u2018cause you\u2019ve killed<\/i> God, it robs God from his rightful place. Anybody wonder about, uh, in Sacramento, some of you come here tonight here, visiting us, say, I wonder is he of God. Jesus, the captain<\/i> of our salvation [Hebrews 2:10], was called not only a devil<\/i>, child, but he was called the Prince<\/i> of Devils, Beelzebub<\/i>. He was called the prince<\/i> of all devils. And all he could say to them, how are you so sick<\/i>? Will a devil cast out a devil? Does a devil heal<\/i> the sick, will a devil cast out the demon oppressions of diseases? No<\/i>. He said, if it did, it\u2019d be a house divided against itself [para of Matthew 12:24-28]. (soft, unintelligible word) So they tell you, don\u2019t go over there. Be careful. Be careful. Don\u2019t go there. Watch out. What they really<\/i> want you to do is stay in prison. I hope you can see a picture of what I\u2019ve taken, and reproduce a greater one in yourself. \u2018Cause the world needs Jesus, and the only place they\u2019re gonna find<\/i> Jesus, child, is in you. You are living epistles<\/i>, the only one they\u2019re gonna read [ref. to 2 Corinthians 3:3].<\/span> So read me well. Don\u2019t jump the gun. Don\u2019t go out and think that you gonna get into this realm overnight. I\u2019ve come through lynch mobs, I\u2019ve been shot and shot down before your eyes, and you saw me picked up, you put the fingers in my\u2013 the holes in my chest, and I brought this about \u2013 the healing \u2013 because I recognized none of the\u2013 in this tabernacle but Christ. Said, I cannot die<\/i>. My people need to see the Christ in me to bring forth the Christ in them. I cannot die. My people not ready. So I said I am hmm\u2013 that\u2019s the key.<\/p>\n

(calms) And all that blood that was all over me, I got up (pause) as you well saw, and that night healed a man by just sending the Word, that was in a lepri\u2013 in a epileptic seizure \u2013 he\u2019s right over there in the choir someplace \u2013 I just reached<\/i> out and said, Arise. Preached<\/i> all night. So take a good<\/i> picture. Take a good picture, watch me closely, learn my mannerisms, learn the patterns of devotion, my spiritual paralife and my social administration, just a sense of concept of dispensational uh, principles that I uh, embody, the principles that I demonstrate every day. He said, all the things that Jesus had both began to say and do<\/i>, if they had been written in a book<\/i>, the world<\/i> would not be able to contain the book <\/i>[para. of John 21:25].<\/span> So the Acts of the Apostles are being written here tonight, as it was last Wednesday, when the woman was given up to die with cystic fibrosis, (Pause) and you heard her testify Sunday, all gone. Been in pain, had to take, what was it, codeine every three hours, and it did not abate her pain. I said, come up, touch this<\/i> back, \u2018cause this back is le\u2013 yielded to God<\/i>. I put my back against hers, told her things by revelation to quicken the Christ in her, and stir up the faith that was within her, and when I left, the pain was in my back, and she was free<\/i> of it. She was shouting and dancing and praising God.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> I know how to get rid<\/i> of it. She didn\u2019t have the moment of understanding to get rid of it. And the doctors had given up her to die. So let us not forget so great a salvation. We have seen, we have heard<\/i>, we have walked<\/i>, we have supped<\/i>, we have seen our God. So, don\u2019t forget that promise, that Christ is within you. (Pause) It\u2019s only hope<\/i>. And how can you hear without a preacher, how can he preach, lest he be sent [para. of Romans 10:14-15, 17]?<\/span> We have the Bible written by King James, translated, the books of Barnabus taken out by his dispensation, and after all, King James was an alcoholic. He<\/i> wasn\u2019t God. He was the king of England<\/i>. Some of you think he was, uh\u2013 your old Pentecostal say at the time, Bless God, the King James version was good enough for Paul, it\u2019s good enough for me. Paul never saw<\/i> King James, honey. He never took a look at King James. King James wasn\u2019t around when Paul was around. He was a king of England who persecuted the American colonists, who persecuted the Indians, and sent the Good Ship Jesus to Africa to bring back the blacks in chains<\/i>. Don\u2019t talk to me (unintelligible word) about him being God<\/i>, he not God. And if you don\u2019t have the Holy<\/i> Ghost, the Spirit<\/i> of truth, you cannot know even who Jesus is, the Scripture tells you. Because there\u2013 the words of the devil<\/i> are in the Bible. The tempter\u2019s there. The words that are translated errors there. If you go just to the letter\u2013 that\u2019s why Corinthians warned you, the letter will kill<\/i> you [ref. to 2 Corinthians 3:6].<\/span> Meaning the letters to Romans, the letter to Corin\u2013 Corinth, the\u2013 the\u2013 the Bible, in other words, just translated English, the Bible kills, but the Spirit God is love. What is the Spirit, then? God is love. So the Bible kills, but love makes alive. That\u2019s the only thing that\u2019ll make<\/i> alive. The Bible will kill<\/i> you, if you don\u2019t have God within, and don\u2019t have the fivefold ministry. He didn\u2019t say Bibles would bring you to perfection, but apostles, pastors, teachers, evangelist, they are necessary for the perfecting of the saints, the work of the ministry, the edifying of the body of Christ [para. of Ephesians 4:7-8, 11-12]. We have to have those manifold gifts and the manifold fruits<\/i> of the Spirit [ref. to Galatians 5:22-23 and Ephesians 5:9]. How can we hear without a preacher, how can he preach lest he be sent. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing \u2013 not<\/i> reading \u2013 by the Word of God [ref. to Romans 10:14-15, 17].<\/span> Because even as you look in the booklet, King James, according to Matthew, doesn\u2019t give the same ancestry of Jesus back to David as Luke does in the third chapter. It\u2019s confusion<\/i>. One place, Jesus\u2019 grandfather is Heli<\/i>, and the other place, it\u2019s Jacob<\/i>. In one place, his great-grandfather is Matthan<\/i>, and the other place, it\u2019s M-A-T-T-H-A-T. There\u2019s a misspelled letter, one<\/i> letter. That\u2019s why we cannot live by the letter alone <\/i>[Matthew 1:1-17 contrasted with Luke 3:23-38].<\/span> It\u2019s beautiful. Oh my God, when you got the Holy Ghost, it\u2019ll open up marvelous truths to you, but (cries out) without the Holy Ghost, it\u2019ll build of form of godliness denying the power thereof [ref. to 2 Timothy 3:2-5]. You\u2019ll have a structure that\u2019s dead as the seeker\u2019s bone. (Moderates) Be as dead as his boneyard [ref. to Matthew 23:27-28].<\/span> I mean, there\u2019ll be a structure of death, not life. Ichabod will be written above the altar, the glory of God departed thereof [ref. to 1 Samuel 4:19-22]<\/span>. If you don\u2019t know that, I can give you a thousand cases of error translations. You don\u2019t know a thing<\/i> about Jesus except the Holy Ghost reveal it to you. One writer says that he went with his parents immediately to Egypt. Another one says he kept the feast of the Passover every year in Jerusalem<\/i>. Never even left Egypt. Didn\u2019t even mention King Herod [Matthew 2 contrasted with Luke 2:41].<\/span> One place, he ascended from Bethany, another place mentions another place. You have four different accounts of where Jesus ascended. (Pause) (Secondary microphone, reduced audio) This is what you called out people and tell them it\u2019s off, and healed the cancers that I\u2019ve already healed today, and the crippling of that woman\u2019s arm, and tell them their loved ones\u2019 far<\/i> away, tell them the inner thoughts<\/i> of their lives. No man can do this. No man<\/i> knows the thoughts of the mind. Only the Word. What is the Word? The Word is God. The Word\u2019s not the dead letter of King James. Get this book<\/a>, and you study it closely, and you\u2019ll be a changed person, and you\u2019ll come in to Life. You will not know death, but come in to Life [ref. to John 5:24],<\/span> if you\u2019ll study it and read it and digest it. But some of you won\u2019t even bother to give it when we say all you have to do is talk to a secretary, and money won\u2019t stand in your way. The letter kills<\/i>, but the Spirit giveth life [2 Corinthians 3:6].<\/span> The Bible<\/i>, in other words. Letter to Romans, letter to Corinthians, letters to Collos\u2013 Colossians. Letters to Revelation. The letter, the Bible kills<\/i>, but the Spirit\u2013 what is the Spirit? God\u2019s Spirit is love<\/i>. The Bible kills, but love makes alive. Second Corinthians 3:6.<\/span> Why, you can\u2019t know anything in the Bible without God sending his fivefold ministry. He said, you\u2019re perfected by apostles, pastors, teachers, evangelist [ref. to Ephesians 4:7-8, 11-12].<\/span> [You] Say, I got an apostle. Now if you want to be in thirty percent, you want to be, as some of you, thirty percent alive<\/i>? You know how it is to be sixty percent alive and forty percent dead? He said, there\u2019s thirtyfold, sixtyfold, and a hundredfold. In here, we\u2019re one hundred percent God. (In full throat) One hundred percent alive, living in the actual conscious causes of the Almighty God, the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost [ref. to Mark 4:20, Matthew 13:8].<\/span><\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> (Voice climbs throughout) You want to be in churches that\u2019ll rob you to build buildings, take up offerings for Cadillacs, when you see an honest man standing before you in the same white robe, the same red shirt, the same one that I had on last night, was washed last night, same black pants were ironed<\/i> last night, because I\u2019ve adopted eight children, I suffer the little children to come unto me, for such is the kingdom of the consciousness (tape audio fades) of God of which I am [ref. to Mark 10:14, Matthew 19:14, Luke 18:16].<\/span> I\u2019ve legally adopted eight, and I\u2019ve reared dozens more, educated them, healed them, brought them out of schizophrenia, brought them out of drug damage, they\u2019re now doing \u2013 some of them \u2013 straight A work, one of them studying to be a doctor that could not talk. No<\/i> man should be pulled on like they pull on me. I\u2019m no longer living in that capitalistic aggrandizing Spirit, but I\u2019m living in the pure socialism and sharing of God Almighty.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> And as I do when in that Spirit, I\u2019m able to share with you, and I know you will pull on me, until I can be pulled on to (unintelligible) \u2018cause this is where the carcass is, there shall the eagles be gathered together. If you could take cognizance of my teachings<\/i> and my Spirit of (unintelligible word), and reproduce a greater picture of me and a greater power<\/i> than I am, I will be eternally glad, for such is the law of the mathematics of God. If you\u2019re dancing around a cross or wearing a medallion on your throat, you\u2013 you\u2019re living in an old age. You\u2019re living behind the cross. You\u2019re living on the wrong side of resurrection. Because when he was come in this mighty (unintelligible word) today, it\u2019s greater than the days of Jesus. Jones:<\/b> Said the time will come when ye shall speak to the Father directly<\/i>. Not in my<\/i> name, but directly. Some are knowing<\/i> what that consciousness is. Father sent his servants to the vineyard, to his own vineyards, (unintelligible), and they killed<\/i> a servant, and they sent a prophet, and they killed the prophet, and they sent his son, and they did to him (Voice builds) what they would, but he said then he would come himself, and no man would be able to take his life from him, and it (unintelligible word) the truth today, God<\/i> has come on the scene in the fathership<\/i> degree. God Almighty<\/i> has come on the scene, (Voice calms) and he\u2019s gonna take the harbor, he\u2019s gonna take his vineyards back from those false rascals, from those (unintelligible word) that have spoiled the vineyards [parable told at Matthew 21:33-44]. God himself has come in the hundredfold [ref. to Mark 4:20, Matthew 13:8].<\/span> (unintelligible) (Pause) The last time that they (unintelligible word) before your eyes, they didn\u2019t (unintelligible word) blood. The first time, it\u2019s growing more and more, you see. The other time it (unintelligible word) blood (unintelligible word), the last time it was (same unintelligible word), because no greater love has any man than to lay down his life for his friends. So I put myself in the way of a bullet that would\u2019ve killed others this week, as you saw. (Pause) (Cries out) No man takes my life from me. I took my (unintelligible word), and I shall lay it down when it pleases me [John 10:17-18].<\/span> But I shall say to you, you, the lost tribe, the chosen of Israel, I say to you in the Spirit of prophecy, you that\u2019ve been called out from amongst the dead bones of the (unintelligible word) boneyard, you that are chosen, upon you of whom the ends of the world have come, (In full throat) I say unto you, that my mind, my supernatural Spirit, my supernatural voice, will always<\/i> be sitting on this chair. Over the night, we\u2019ll pass away, bodies will come and go, but I shall remain eternally, faithfully, (unintelligible word), I am God, and God does not (unintelligible word).<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> (unintelligible sentences) You that have not had your souls set on fire by God, but your soul set on fire by hell, it\u2019s good<\/i> that you find your way out of this (unintelligible word) (Pause) It\u2019s so true<\/i>. I want you to hear<\/i> what the Spirit<\/i> has to say (unintelligible word). If you know God, then you (unintelligible word)all his troubles. If you know God, you\u2019d prosper and be in good health, even as I am, in every sinew and fiber and cell and atom of my bodily form. If you know God, (unintelligible). But you know God (unintelligible word). Not the God of the Pharaoh. In the likenesses that Paul and not in thine heart who shall ascend into heaven and bring him down. (unintelligible). Who shall they send (unintelligible). But Paul said, where is the Word? He said, it\u2019s in thy mouth and in thy heart [ref. to Romans 10:4-10]<\/span>, and I\u2019ve come to show you that, I being God, I shall make you gods even as I am, sayeth the Lord. That\u2019s why they crucified Jesus (unintelligible sentences). Did you know that\u2019s in your Bible (unintelligible)? (Cries out) I have come to claim my inheritance. I have considered it not robbery to be equal with God [Philippians 2:5-6]<\/span>, and I am enjoying resurrection, I am enjoying compassion, I am enjoying power, I am enjoying blessings, blessings, and blessings, a multitude of blessings. Now as far as I can see, on the mathematical (unintelligible sentences). He said, whoever wasn\u2019t (Unintelligible word). Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God [Matthew 5:8].<\/span> When you free yourself from racism, from the ownership of things, from the possessiveness of materiality, when you free yourself from the lust of the flesh and the pride of life, when you free yourself from capitalistic enslavement and jealousy, when you free yourself from mortality and all<\/i> of its burdens, when you are pure<\/i> of all<\/i> those things, then you will see God in San Francisco, California<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/b> Cheers<\/p>\n

Jones: <\/b>(Voice climbs) You know God. And you see him. And he\u2019ll walk with you, and he\u2019ll talk with you, and he\u2019ll tell you that you are his own. And the voice you hear will be the voice of socialist cheer, and he\u2019ll always be with you, and he\u2019ll never leave you. (Moderates) To those that know God (unintelligible) \u2013not have to hold on to a black book written by King James of England, who sent the first ship\u2013 the Good Ship Jesus to bring back our brothers and sisters in chains. You\u2019ll not look to the letter that doesn\u2019t even know the ancestry of Jesus. Matthew disagrees with Luke. Matthew 1 and Luke 3:23 disagree as to who Jesus\u2019 grandfather is, and they both trace him through Joseph, but both give him 15 different grandparents. And one has 15 more<\/i> grandparents than the other, getting him back to Abraham.<\/span> You don\u2019t know anything by the letter. You don\u2019t know where Jesus ascended. Two different mountains are mentioned, and one suggestion that it was at the Last Supper. You don\u2019t know what happened to him on the cross. One says \u2013 one Scripture, one Bible verse says \u2013 that the thieves<\/i> (unintelligible words) railed on him, all the thieves cursed him. The other says only one, and the other thief cursed and rebuked the other one. And Jesus said to the one good thief, this day, you shall be with me in paradise [Matthew 27:38-44, contrasted with Luke 23:39-43].<\/span> One Scripture says that Jesus (Unintelligible word) was baptized with this union of God, when the combustion of God took place in him \u2013 you see, he had to be combusted into God. You understand what I\u2019m saying. Jesus was made obedient. If you\u2019re perfect, you don\u2019t have to be made obedient. He was made obedient and conformable to the image of the Son of God through the death. He was made conformable, made obedient through, what? The death of the cross<\/i>. He was made perfect, what? Through suffering<\/i> [ref. to Philippians 2:7-8]. That\u2019s why I said, though he was a slave \u2013 that\u2019s the beauty of Jesus \u2013 he said, though I was a servant, I considered it not robbery to be equal with God [Philippians 2:5-6].<\/span><\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> That\u2019s why that same Jesus who came out of Nazareth \u2013 and which they said no good thing ever came out of Nazareth [para. of John 1:45-46] \u2013 they chided him and said we know who our father is, Abraham, but who\u2019s your father? [John 8, esp. 8:33-42]<\/span> (Voice drops, then climbs) Jesus came about being born as a bastard, born in a bastardly relationship, but it did matter not to him. He kept his mind<\/i>, and his ideals stayed on God\u2019s principles. Finally, when he made the (unintelligible word) and overcame, stood up bravely for his ideals, laid his life down for his friends, they said on the day of Pentecost, this same Jesus that was once just a Nazarene, this same Jesus is now both Lord and Christ [para. of Acts 2:22, 36]. He sits at the right hand of power, because he was perfected through suffering, he learned obedience, and now he\u2019s the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost [ref. to Hebrews 5:8-9].<\/span><\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/b> Applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> (Moderates, then builds) Human as he was. Carpenter\u2019s son. Come out of Nazareth, where there\u2019s no good thing. But he was a slave and he knew it, but he still considered it not robbery to be equal with God [Philippians 2:5-6]<\/span>. Said, how do you know these things? How do I know the thoughts of these women\u2019s minds, and heal both of them and their mother of cancer, how did I do that? How? Because the Word is sharper than a two-edged sword.<\/span> That\u2019s what straightened the arm and made it move again. That\u2019s what caused that crippled woman\u2019s leg to be straightened a while ago. That\u2019s what caused it, because the Word is sharper than a two-edged sword. Hebrews 4:12. It discerns the thoughts and knows the intents of the heart. You read Hebrews 4:12, and you\u2019ll see that I am the Word.<\/span> I am incarnating the Word, and the Word in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God [John 1:1],<\/span> and the Word is made flesh [para. of John 1:14].<\/span> The Word of God is here.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/b> Applause<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> (Moderates) It matters not, only that I\u2019m sorry in my Spirit for you that will not rejoice in this recognition. You cannot get enthralled by it, because you just have not tasted of the heavenly gift [ref. to Hebrews 6:4-6]<\/span>. You would know that I am (unintelligible word) Christ in God. You would know that I\u2019m made in his image. You would recognize the truth that has evolved and that I\u2019m involved in, the in\u2013 infinite, the wonderful, beautiful possibility of infinite<\/i> mind. Oh, it\u2019s so beautiful. Just like the oak that makes the forest, but it\u2019s all involved in the acorn. (Voice quietens, then climbs) The seed, the seed, the seed that forms in me has now become a mighty<\/i> oak, and I\u2019m reproducing acorns, and I\u2019m gonna have a forest [ref. to Isaiah 6:13],<\/span> and we\u2019re going to have the trees<\/i> of beauty that shall not be moved, like a tree that planted by the water, we shall overcome<\/i>. I declare<\/i>, I promise, I foreswore in the ark of the covenant, we shall cover the earth with this great knowledge of God, as the waters cover the sea [Habakkuk 2:14].<\/span> I declare unto you\u2013<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/b> Responds<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> \u2013we shall glorify the name of Jesus. (Pause) The true followers of (unintelligible). (Pause) I think I have said enough to stir up the pure<\/i> minds. (Pause) If you have the pure<\/i> mind, I\u2019ve stirred it up. If you have a disturbed mind, (Pause) at least that\u2019s better than having a decided<\/i> one. Let your disturbance continually concentrate on this effervescent flow, and see if this truth will make you whole. Just try<\/i> me, and see if my Spirit is not of God. What would you judge<\/i> me by? Would you judge me by the dead letter? The dead letter that says that after Jesus was touched by the dove symbolizing his combustion into the consciousness of God\u2019s son, in the sonship degree, when the Holy Ghost descended upon him [para. of Matthew 3:16, Mark 1:9-10, Luke 3:22, John 1:32-33], one scripture says he went 40 days into the wilderness, and stayed there 40 days and 40 nights [para. of Matthew 4:1-2, Mark 1:12-13, Luke 4:1-2].<\/span> King James has got it mixed up. In another place, he says three days after his baptism, he was in Cana of Galilee, which is some 80<\/i> miles from the wilderness, turning water into wine [ref. to John 2:1-11].<\/span> Um-hmm. So while he could\u2019ve been supernaturally in two places the same time, all right, but what about this<\/i>? Did he keep the feast of the Passover with his parents in Jerusalem every year? That\u2019s what one writer says. Said he never<\/i> went to Her\u2013 uh, to flee from Herod. Read your Bible. Said he never fled<\/i> from Herod. Said he kept the feast of the Passover every year in Jerusalem. Another said he went to Jerusalem and never returned [Matthew 2 contrasted with Luke 2:41].<\/span> (Claps hands once) It\u2019d be a lie then, if he even came back supernaturally. (Pause) Ah, child. (Voice builds) All through the book. Acts, Chapter 9. Acts, Chapter 22. Paul said the ones that were with him on the road to Damascus when he had that great conversion, which he had, but King James is the king of England, he<\/i> doesn\u2019t know his right hand from the left. He said those that were with him in one case saw the shape but did not hear the voice. The other place it turns it just around, and says the opposite. They heard the voice but did not see the shape [Acts 22:9 contrasted with Acts 9:7-8].<\/span> You don\u2019t tell me it\u2019s not so, don\u2019t shake your head at me, uh, you better read the book and see. That\u2019s what it says.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> And you quote to me, there\u2019s three that bear record in heaven. John 5. Three<\/i> that bear record in heaven. God never said it, Jesus never said it, Apostle Paul never said it, Pope Pius, one of the ugliest Roman popes of the Catholic Church, put it in there to support that ungodly doctrine of the Trinity [ref. to John 5:31-37]<\/span>. It was never there. Say, I never heard tell such\u2013 Well, you better go read Clock\u2019s\u2013 Clark\u2019s commentary. You better read all your Pentecostal commentary. You better read your Catholic<\/i> commentary. All your concordances, any good<\/i> one will tell you that. That that\u2019s not original scripture. Well, if they sneak in one lie on you, how many more did they sneak in on you?<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/b> Laughter<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> Hmm? That\u2019s why I\u2013 He said. He\u2019d speak for himself. That\u2019s why I said, how can you hear without him preaching? How can he preach, lest he comes? That\u2019s the way it originally said. You have it, \u201cHow can he preach, lest he\u2019d been sent.\u201d He said, he\u2019ll preach<\/i> for himself<\/i> and he\u2019ll be sent from heaven. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God [ref. to Romans 10:14-15, 17], and the Word of God, as I told you, Hebrews 4:12. It discerns the thoughts and knows the intents of the hearts.<\/span> Didn\u2019t say you could get your way to heaven by reading. You can\u2019t get across the street<\/i> by reading in the Bible. You get lost before you get to Geary Avenue.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> (Calls out) Faith cometh by hearing, (claps several times) and hearing by the Word of God [ref. to Romans 10:14-15, 17].<\/span> (Voice quietens, then climbs) You say, I\u2019m going up there to that church. Why do you want to go up there? He hasn\u2019t got the Word of God. Can he call out the sick? Can he raise the dead? Can he prophesy? Can he discern the thoughts of the mind? Can he know the knowledge of what\u2019s\u2013 their ailments are? Can he tell them their loved ones back a hundred years? Can he tell them what happened to them when they were born? Can he tell them what happened to them before they were born? Can he tell them what\u2019s going to take place(voice drops) in the years to come?<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/b> No.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> No<\/i>. So why don\u2019t you stay where the Word of God is. (Pause) (Voice climbs throughout) Take your empty vessels and go after empty cisterns, that\u2019s what most of you do. And the well\u2019s flowing here, with water. Out of my belly is flowing water, as the issues of life [ref. to John 7:37-38].<\/span> (glossolalia) I\u2019m lifting you from economic and moral oppression. I\u2019m putting your faith in Jesus Christ. Say, why, you don\u2019t\u2013 you don\u2019t glorify Jesus. I glorify Jesus, not by mouth<\/i> \u2013 that won\u2019t help him \u2013\u00a0I\u2019m gonna live<\/i> him. He said, become living<\/i> epistles [ref. to 2 Corinthians 3:3].<\/span> Let the Word be in you<\/i>, Christ in you<\/i>, the hope of glory. I\u2019m causing people to talk<\/i> about Jesus. They\u2019re talking about him everywhere<\/i>. Saying oh that\u2013 that man over there, raising the dead, bringing<\/i> all races together. My enemies<\/i> are talking about me, my friends<\/i> are talking about me. And they\u2019re trying to shoot<\/i> me.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> The devil try to shoot the devil? Not on your life.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> Then the last days, they\u2019ll turn you over to the councils and the governors, put you in prisons, and even kill<\/i> you, thinking they do God a service [para. of Mark 13:9, Matthew 10:17, John 16:2]. They that live godly in Christ Jesus won\u2019t maybe, but shall suffer<\/i> persecution [2 Timothy 3:12].<\/span> Do you know anybody else they\u2019re trying to shoot?<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> (Conversational) Do you know anybody else that they\u2019ve poisoned? They poisoned me, and they poisoned some others, and I raised us all up, and they took the poison to General Hospital Ukiah, and it said it was enough to kill a team of horses. (Pause) But I didn\u2019t even get dizzy.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> I think I would do some thinking about it down there. I\u2019d think about it real close. I\u2019d wonder<\/i> about it. Wonder what it is this man? What is he? What<\/i> is it that he can do these things? I\u2019m the hundredfold realm of God [ref. to Mark 4:20, Matthew 13:8].<\/span> God personified. I am in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, in the oneness of Christ, I\u2019m walking here, (calls out) the body<\/i>, the Temple of the Holy Ghost<\/i> [para. of 1 Corinthians 6:19-20].<\/span> \u00a0(Pause) (Voice quietens, then climbs) And that\u2019s all foreign to you, you get nervous. This sister gonna leave (claps once), gon\u2013 she upset about it (claps once) she gonna have a stroke too, (claps once) and never see \u2018er. (Pause) Whatcha talking about? I\u2019m just putting into practice \u2013 I put<\/i> into practice \u2013 what you<\/i> have been told about so long ago. Every day they tell you, you\u2019re the Temple of the Holy Ghost. I<\/i> come along and tell you, that I\u2019m the body of God, and that bothers you, because when I become the body of God, it means you\u2019re<\/i> gonna have to become the body of God. You\u2019re gonna have to listen<\/i> to what God has to say.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/b> It\u2019s all right if we keep these things out here in the suppositional. Keep \u2018em out in the imaginary realms. But when someone says exactly what Temple means \u2013 that means you\u2019re the body of God \u2013 if you\u2019re the Temple of the Holy Ghost, you\u2019re the body of God, the Holy Ghost is God\u2019s Spirit [para. of 1 Corinthians 6:19-20].<\/span><\/p>\n
