{"id":29261,"date":"2013-07-25T16:49:59","date_gmt":"2013-07-25T16:49:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/alternativejonestown.com\/?page_id=29261"},"modified":"2013-12-12T22:44:02","modified_gmt":"2013-12-12T22:44:02","slug":"blundon4","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/jonestown.sdsu.edu\/?page_id=29261","title":{"rendered":"Sharon Amos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sharon carved up her children <br \/> One by one<br \/> Christa, Liane and Martin<\/p>\n<p>Martin was first<br \/>           The youngest one<br \/>           And softest when she held him<\/p>\n<p>She slit his throat as ordered.<\/p>\n<p>She rolled him out<br \/>           Onto the porch<br \/>           For everyone to see<\/p>\n<p>While her ballerina<br \/>           And jelly bean<br \/>           Harmonized their screams<\/p>\n<p>Christa was next, her little girl.<\/p>\n<p>Christa was so small<br \/>           Her face was pale<br \/>           Dead weight in her mother&rsquo;s hands<\/p>\n<p>Sharon told her daughter,<br \/>           Screaming at her,<br \/>   &ldquo;I&rsquo;m going as fast as I can&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>She put Christa next to Martin.<\/p>\n<p>Liane was last<br \/>           She made no fuss<br \/>           The knife slid in without much force<\/p>\n<p>She spilled her guts<br \/>           And was set beside<br \/>           Her siblings on the porch<\/p>\n<p>They were all smiling at her.<\/p>\n<p>Sharon turned the knife<br \/>           Unto herself<br \/>           Made sure her cuts were deep<\/p>\n<p>She cut up her chin<br \/>           And down her cheeks<br \/>           And placed her head down by her feet<\/p>\n<p>Four little faces in a row.<\/p>\n<p>Now they were all laid out<br \/>           On the porch<br \/>           Only one was missing<\/p>\n<p>But Dad always carved<br \/>           His pumpkin himself<br \/>           This was their tradition<\/p>\n<p>At least that&rsquo;s the way it would&rsquo;ve been<br \/>           If Sharon had brought the kids home for Halloween.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sharon carved up her children One by one Christa, Liane and Martin Martin was first The youngest one And softest when she held him She slit his throat as ordered.
