There were a number of more trendy options the band had that would have been a better move in terms of promoting their song, and I have learned of other well respected directors that pitched alternate ideas on the song that didn\u2019t get made.<\/p>\n<p>The video itself has been posted at several locations, including on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=eAM9diyVRiM\">youtube<\/a>. The film has gone on to receive several accolades and awards including:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>*2012 MVPA Award WINNER \u201cBest Direction of a New Artist\u201d<br \/>\n*Winner 2012 Ann Arbor Film Festival \u201cBest Music Video\u201d<br \/>\n*Nominated for Best Music Video, Vimeo Awards 2012<br \/>\n*C\u00edclope International Ad Festival, Silver<br \/>\n*Top Video of 2011 on: <em>Videostatic<\/em>, <em>Slant<\/em>, <em>Time<\/em>, &amp; <em>Paste Magazine<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Further it has screened at The Hammer Museum, and Art Basel, Miami.<\/p>\n<p><em>(The coverage of this video in last year\u2019s edition of the jonestown report appears <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/jonestown.sdsu.edu\/?page_id=29275\"><em>here<\/em><\/a><em>.
