Two members of Peoples Temple \u2013 Jim Jones\u2019 adopted daughter Suzanne, and Temple HAM radio license holder Tom Adams \u2013 have a testy telephone conversation. Suzanne is trying to reach her father, and expressly says she does not believe that Tom is allowing her access; Tom replies he can\u2019t be blamed for her intransigence, if she won\u2019t abide by the way the radio patches work to get phone calls in and out of Jonestown. She has recently referred to Jim Jones as crazy, so he feels as though he can\u2019t trust her anyway, and she does nothing to smooth whatever feathers she may have ruffled.<\/p>\n

Suzanne would eventually leave the Temple \u2013 she may have been partway out the door when this tape was made \u2013 and Jim Jones would eventually add her name in his recitation of enemies.<\/p>\n

In connection with the Federal Bureau of Investigation\u2019s investigation into the assassination of U.S. Congressman LEO J. RYAN at Port Kaituma, Guyana, South America, on November 18, 1978, a tape recording was obtained. This tape recording was located in Jonestown, Guyana, South America, and was turned over to U.S. Officials in Guyana and subsequently transported to the United States.<\/p>\n

On June 11, 1979, Special Agent (name deleted) reviewed the tape number 1B102 C34. This tape was found to contain the following:<\/p>\n

Side A has a short phone conversation between \u201cTOM\u201d and \u201cSUSANNE\u201d. Side B is blank.<\/p>\n
