If one measure of my book\u2019s success is how many ways it can be improved in the second edition, then the book is doing quite well. A second edition is in the works, so here’s a sneak peek at its status:<\/p>\n
New photos!<\/strong> Soon after the book\u2019s publication in 2015, I knew I’d be able to fill at least a dozen empty “no photo available” frames, in a second edition. There’s one new name, and a handful of corrections.<\/p>\n Not just faces, names and ages, but more.<\/strong> Later that year, former Temple member John Cobb suggested I include remembrances left on each person’s Jonestown Institute Who Died<\/a> page. He hoped it could be available on “a permanent website.” Now that I have finished my Birthday Project<\/a>, I will start working on that.\u00a0A print edition may follow in time, as I will do the website first.<\/p>\n Luckily,<\/strong> I have more than 800 of the 2015 edition books left, and I’m giving them now free to any family members I find who would welcome one. I’m counting on all to spread word of this, while it lasts, to far-flung descendants who cherish memories of ones they lost, whether they met them or not.<\/p>\n (Kathy [Tropp] Barbour joined Peoples Temple in 1970 with her companion, Richard Tropp, and was living in the San Francisco Temple on November 18, 1978.
