Jones:<\/strong> \u2013an enormous painful and agonizing sound and so I would suggest that we find out what is the problem with our system or any supplemental problems thereof and get it reconciled, because it is a beautiful choral number and I was appreciative of the fact that the sister went on uninterruptedly and it was certainly touching.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> On Wednesday night we discussed two and a half hours of essential teachings. I cannot repeat it tonight. We thought<\/em> we would give you a taste of it, but I\u2019m much<\/em> of the opinion that we hardly listen to anything that\u2019s presented in the first person<\/em>, so it\u2019s little likelihood we\u2019re gonna listen to anything that\u2019s recorded<\/em>, but if you don\u2019t<\/em> listen, you\u2019re going to find yourself lost<\/em>. (Pause) I have the key<\/em> to life. I have the key<\/em> to indestructibility<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> I have the (unintelligible word) of salvation. You might say I\u2019m the locksmith that could open up these doors that have been locked<\/em> and screwed<\/em> up by the\u2013 the devious<\/em> system that we\u2019re in today, by the spiritual wickedness in high places. I have the only way you can get in. There\u2019s no way around<\/em> it, there\u2019s no way above<\/em> this door, there\u2019s no way under it. You\u2019re gonna have to come through it, if you want to be saved.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> That\u2019s why I\u2019m anxious<\/em> for you, not anxious that you hear my<\/em> voice. I\u2019m anxious that you hear the truth<\/em> which my voice brings. I would that I can give you the voice of some melodious starlet or star or someone that is in the media, but all those souls are sold out<\/em>, so I have to give you whatever I have to offer<\/em>, and you must get the truth while you can, because it\u2019s not very plentiful. There\u2019s a famine. (More deliberate) I mean there is a famine. He said in the last days there would be a famine, not only for food<\/em>, but there\u2019s a famine for the hearing<\/em> of the Word. Now if the Bible was the Word of God, there certainly wouldn\u2019t be a famine because it\u2019s the best-selling text in the nation<\/em> today. It\u2019s promoted by Rockefeller and Carnegie so that people will read<\/em> the book<\/em>, so it must not be the Word<\/em>, because it said there\u2019s a famine for the hearing<\/em> of the Word, but the Bible is preached up and down America today, and up and down America tonight. On every radio<\/em> wave, you\u2019ll hear the gospel<\/em> going forth, so-called. (Ministerial voice) But it said in the last days there will be a famine<\/em> for the hearing, so the Word must not be going to come out of these churches. The Word must not be going to come out of these religious programs, the Word therefore must not going to be proceeding out of the institutional Bible, but (calms) it\u2019s going to have to come from a living epistle which is read and known of all<\/em> men.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Man cannot, must not, and will<\/em> not live by bread alone, by tablets of stone or written scripture. He must live by every Word that proceedeth<\/em> out of the mouth of God. You\u2019ve got a mouth? You use yours, \u2018cause God\u2019s got one and he\u2019s using his.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> (Conversational) Now we\u2019ve discussed uh, the\u2013 the fact of all these high uh\u2013 these high uh, incidences of crime. The nation is in turmoil. The whole fabric of the nation is being shaken. The president [Richard Nixon] has announced that if the Supreme Court does not define a decision on Watergate tapes to suit him, he will not<\/em> accept it. That\u2019s why the Senator [Edward] Kennedy from Massachusetts said today and Senator [Edward] Brooke who\u2019s a Republican said that if indeed that is the case, then Mr. Nixon \u2013 if he gets by not answering<\/em> what the Supreme Court demands \u2013 he has had\u2013 he has achieved<\/em> a bloodless coup. He has achieved what has taken at least tanks and our airplanes in Chile to do yesterday. That\u2019s on your paper today. Mr. Kennedy said if he gets by with this, and his own Republican colleagues, our only black senator, Senator Brooke says, if he gets by<\/em> with this, then he is a town\u2013 he has tantamount to a military takeover without any guns being fired, without any blood being shed. Now it is a really shameful condition in America that a person can bring on a dictatorship without any blood being shed. At least the Chileans tonight are fighting for their freedom. They\u2019ve had to be squashed, they\u2019ve had to be murdered. The president [Salvador Allende] had to be murdered. His bra\u2013 his brains were shot out by machine gun and his own\u2013 his wife [Hortensia Bussi] couldn\u2019t even\u2013 wasn\u2019t even given the privilege of seeing her beloved, before she had been uh, (unintelligible word) just into sanctuary in the Mexican embassy and is now on\u2013 enroute to Mexico for political asylum. At least<\/em> the Chileans fought<\/em>. At least there was some bloodshed. But I know one nation in this country\u2013 in this world today where there would be very little fighting done, if any. I know a nation \u2013 and I\u2019m in it right now \u2013 it\u2019s called America. I\u2019m in a nation called the United States of America that would not fight<\/em> to protect its liberty. That\u2019s how far gone the people are. They would not<\/em> fight to protect their liberty. The light has nearly gone out and the people care very little. (Voice rises) The prophets lie<\/em>, the leaders lie<\/em>, and the people would almost<\/em> have it so.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Scattered applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> At least the Indians in Wounded Knee fought. They fought till many of their children even died. But we who pride ourselves in being great Americans, we\u2019ve lost that\u2013 that zeal, that inspiration, that struggle for freedom. And as it was said by the founders of our country, eternal viligance\u2013 eternal vigilance is the price of liberty. If you don\u2019t fight for it, you lose it. You gotta fight all the time, you gotta be eternally vigilant, and the moment you stop fighting, that moment you lose liberty. Well, America has lost its fighting spirit. We\u2019re caught up in the boob tube, we\u2019re caught up in modern conveniences, we\u2019re not eating properly, we\u2019re caught up with the uh, cost of living, the index, and the market, and we are consequently ripe for a takeover. Now a country\u2019s not going to allow crime to continue at this rate. The dictatorial powers are back in the background this very moment stirring up this kind of situation. They\u2019re stirring up and fomenting crime, just like they use some of the bl\u2013 the very elements of our own community to burn down our church. This was a conspiracy, and they got Uncle Toms to carry it out. Aunt Janes and Uncle Toms carried it out. Not honkeys<\/em>, but Uncle Toms and Aunt Janes.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Scattered Applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> There was no honkey came over here and burned that place down. No, they were\u2013 they had the skin like all people that should be free<\/em> have the color of their skin, tan and ebony. They were people that should know<\/em> better, but we\u2019ve got agents and counter-agents and sinister forces of the\u2013 (Pause) the hidden rulers, the CIA right in our very midst. So what\u2019re you going to say, what if some\u2013 what\u2019s going to happen. (More deliberate) What is going to happen? (Pause) That\u2019s good. At least you qu\u2013 quieted down. I told<\/em> you what was going to happen in Chile. I informed you exactly<\/em> what would take place in Chile.<\/p>\n

Voices in Congregation:<\/strong> That\u2019s right.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> I said it would not work, what he\u2019s trying to do, socialism in a demo\u2013 democracy where there\u2019s a strong military, it will not work. I said he will be brought down in a great tragedy. They\u2019ll bring\u2013 they\u2019ll overthrow his government. I said they would do it, and I prophesied the death of it, and now Allende the president is dead, and Chile is in bloodshed<\/em>. With the exception of a few people that are still fighting in the suburbs \u2013 the poor there tend to live in the suburbs \u2013 and there\u2019s still some resistance in the suburbs. All resistance is almost gone. The paper said that uh, we\u2019re not responsible. San Francisco Chronicle<\/em> says we\u2019re not responsible for it. Our government is not responsible for the fall of Chile. Yet in the next line, it says that every form of aid had been cut off to Chile by the United States except military aid. The only aid we were giving our tax dollars, when we can\u2019t hardly keep ourselves together and the American home is almost overwhelmed now, you can\u2019t even afford good medicine, you can\u2019t afford good hospitals, you can\u2019t afford a good doctor, and yet our tax money is going down to these crooked generals that just overthrew an elected government. An elected president was just overthrown by generals that got their money from Washington. (Pause) Don\u2019t take my word for it. Read your paper.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Scattered applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Peace. The paper said we are not involved,<\/em> but I don\u2019t know how less involved you can be\u2013 or how more<\/em> involved you can<\/em> be, rather. If our money is\u2013 all of our money that\u2019s going out of the United States has been going to buy them arms and tanks and airplanes, if the UPI and the AP, the Associated Press looked up and said, it\u2019s American planes strafing and shooting the government palace, and the American planes that finally brought about the death of a thousand people there. I heard the description over all the networks. They described this Saber jet, this type of plane and that type of plane. They were all American<\/em>. So if we furnish the planes and say we had no direct<\/em> involvement, I don\u2019t care whether we got any direct involvement, that doesn\u2019t\u2013 just because Mr. Nixon wasn\u2019t there uh, dropping the bombs. All the paper said was that we didn\u2019t have any direct<\/em> involvement. But we\u2019ve got a lot of indirect<\/em> involvement. The indirect involvement was that we were notified ten days ago the\u2013 the exact day the revolution was going to take place, the exact day the military coup<\/em>. I don\u2019t want to call it a revolution. I want to call it a takeover<\/em>. A fascist vicious takeover<\/em>, and your papers now read today that ten days ago, our government was informed by the generals when they were going to do it. The exact hour. Now\u2013 Then we say we\u2019re not involved? Now if I know somebody\u2019s robbing your house. and I don\u2019t do something. I\u2019m involved<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Voices in Congregation:<\/strong> That\u2019s right. That\u2019s right.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> I believe<\/em> that\u2013 I believe<\/em> that if\u2013 the lawyers over here could correct me if I\u2019m wrong, the lawyer there that I healed of cancer, when he was dying, standing on the wall [Eugene Chaikin]. I believe that if you have information to a crime and you don\u2019t report<\/em> that, if you\u2019re aware of the exact time that a crime\u2019s gone take place and you don\u2019t report that, you\u2019re involved in that conspiracy in one way or another. You\u2013 I wouldn\u2019t want to give the exact technical description, but in the courts of law<\/em>, you would be involved<\/em>, you would be a\u2013 considered a criminal if you kept information privy to your own self, and did not reveal it when you knew<\/em> that a crime was going to take place. (Pause) You\u2019d be an accessory before the facts of the crime. Now we\u2019re an accessory to the tragedy of Chile. And they\u2019re only moonlighting out there, babies, my belo\u2013 my beloved children, they\u2019re only moonlighting out there what they\u2019re getting ready to do here. They\u2019ve tried us on for size in the Philippines, and they\u2019ve taken away their liberty. They tried us on for size in the Dominican Republic, and they\u2019ve taken away their lib\u2013 their liberty. They\u2019ve tried us on throughout all<\/em> the nations. They\u2019ve been putting this thing on, and in Indonesia three or four years ago, they\u2019ve put it on there. They wanted to see if America would resist there. We have let them take away people\u2019s freedom, from Greece<\/em> with our money, all throughout Latin America, all throughout Africa, our money has been overthrowing constitutionally-elected governments. Our<\/em> money, and everybody knows<\/em> it\u2019s our money. Even the newspaper tells us it\u2019s our money, and people still go on their merry way, preaching about Skygods and preaching about heaven, talking about the furniture of heaven and the temperature of hell, and doing nothing about the miserable conditions of spiritual wickedness in high places.<\/p>\n

Voice in Congregation:<\/strong> Calls.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Now watch out. You\u2019re next. (Pause) You\u2019re next. Everything else is just about broken. There\u2019s little else that can be done to overthrow governments now. The chickens are coming home to roost. They\u2019re coming whether you want them or not. They\u2019re coming. And I think many in here care, but there some in here don\u2019t care for nothing.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Stirs.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> I went out and watched this meeting tonight. They don\u2019t care for nothing. They don\u2019t care about being respectful, they had\u2013 I saw sisters had to look around\u2013 Sister Knowles (phonetic) had to look around to get some some kind of peace, there\u2019s no peace to be given. People won\u2019t even be uh, kindly enough to sit and be courteous and listen to the great miracles that\u2019ve taken place here. We had a miracle discussed here of this young boy that was dead, this child that was dead and the eye put back in. And the miracle that happened this week of leukemia, you can get the address from one of our secretaries, a child had been treated by doctors, and the doctors were so overwhelmed, I\u2019ve healed the child and all the cancer of the blood has disappeared, and we gave the address last night. (Clears throat)<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Peace. But people won\u2019t even be quiet to listen in this room. And all<\/em> that\u2019s concerned about liberty in America today \u2013 or in San Francisco tonight, as certain as I am here \u2013 the only ones really concerned about liberty tonight in San Francisco are in this room. Now I wish that were not so, and you may think that\u2019s a bold<\/em> and very presumptuous<\/em> statement, but it\u2019s unfortunately the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Whatever concern there is about liberty in the East Bay and the Bay tonight is in this room, and half<\/em> of the people in this room are not concerned at least. So that doesn\u2019t leave many people concerned about freedom. Say, oh, you mean there\u2019s not more people concerned? Oh no, that\u2019s exactly what I mean. Say I heard there\u2019s a certain groups of\u2013 over here and certain nationals and certain Panthers. Yeah, I\u2013 I hear about them. They\u2019re mostly over in Reno gambling.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Delayed and scattered applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> I hear about all these Coca-Cola revolutionaries and these Reno and Las Vegas revolutionaries. I hear about them, and wasting the people\u2019s money living in penthouses up on the sixth and eighth floor. Sure<\/em>. Sure, people don\u2019t like me. I notice they\u2019re not burning down any headquarters over there of these nationalist groups. There\u2019s no Panther<\/em> headquarters being burned down. They\u2019re burning down Peoples Temple because they know where the truth<\/em> is coming.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Enthusiastic applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Peace. Peace. I\u2019ve stopped bombs on every front this week. Bomb was thrown into our Temple property in Redwood Valley, it even reached up there, where we\u2019ve got the cooperation of law enforcement. And I had to stop it in midair. It made a flash like the sun but didn\u2019t move a lock on anyone\u2019s hair. People coulda been killed all over the place, but I had to stop it metaphysically. They\u2019re trying everywhere<\/em> but\u2013 and then at the same time they did it in Los Angeles. The bomb was there, the man went running around saying a bomb was there, and by the time the demolition squad came, I had removed the bomb by my spirit.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Applause and calls.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Peace. Peace. Peace. And I will continue<\/em> to be just exactly what I always can<\/em> be, if you will have<\/em> me to be. I will continue to be omnipotent, omniscient, and (voice rises) omnipresent revolutionary force, if you will allow it and want<\/em> it and desire it. Oh yes, I did. Don\u2019t look puzzly. I\u2019m not talking about dramatization now. You check down with Los Angeles. The man found the wires and everything. The bomb was intricately set up, and he went to get the demolition squad, but there wasn\u2019t time, so I reached out and when he got back the bomb was gone. (Clears throat)<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> You can check with the staff down there tomorrow and get the mystery of this marvelous work, the beauty of it. So uh, simultaneously our Temples have been attacked on every front, primarily because they know we\u2019re the last threat to liberty. Man by the name of Nystrom (phonetic) called me yesterday, as I wanted to reveal there and I could not have the accessibility with the equipment with anyone uh, with any clarity of sound at least. Sounded like an old bull frog. Well I\u2013 at least when I\u2019m speaking personally<\/em>, it is not quite as bad as a bullfrog as it is when it comes over that<\/em> thing. Yesterday a man by the name of Nystrom called me, the head of a very great organization, he said, I uh, got someone that must talk to you and he\u2013 his conscience demands it before he gets on to Australia, but he doesn\u2019t want to talk to you here. He wants to go to a pay telephone and call you at another phone. I gave uh, (clears throat) an idea uh, in certain uh, uh, peculiar way in which I was asked to give<\/em> the idea where he could call and so he called there and uh, we made another arrangement. And a third<\/em> call was placed before I finally got the information that was the most shocking kind of information you\u2019d ever want to hear. The man had worked for a very important agency in this United States, high and low, and he was on a flight. Uh\u2013 He was getting ready to flee to Australia. He said, I want to tell you, Reverend, about some plans that have been concocted against you and against one other man who is not in the church field. He said they consider you\u2013 the powers of the master design that plan to take over this country consider you to be the only threat, and he told me intimate things that had happened that I knew he had to know. He had to be on the inside, because he had no supernatural gift, he had to be speaking exactly<\/em> from knowledge. And when they told of their plan, it was a horrendous plan. He said he had to clear his conscience at least. He was going to get out of the country and he didn\u2019t know where he was going to go. He wanted to\u2013 he was intending to go into the interior, he had a friend in the agricultural ministry in Australia, and he was intending to get away hopefully<\/em> at least to hold on to his life. (Pause) He told me of a plan that you wouldn\u2019t believe, some of you, you will never believe it till it starts. I\u2019ve been preaching it all atong\u2013 all along the time. I didn\u2019t need to be told. I\u2019ve told<\/em> you of racial extermination. I\u2019ve told you of racial genocide. I\u2019ve told you not to allow people to talk to us about child uh, abortions because \u2013 particularly blacks \u2013 because this is a racial genocide that\u2019s beginning even in small ways now. He told me of the actual<\/em> plan, the extermination of all brown, black, and yellow people in this country. (Pause) Because it\u2019s\u2013 it was their opinion that because Chinese had been coolies and had been menservants, and the blacks had been slaves before, that we\u2019ll never<\/em> convince the black people to go along with a wage slave system, that the blacks would never go along, and so he told me of the most horrible<\/em> plan to put blacks into total extermination, and<\/em> all poor whites that wanted any liberty at all. Anyone that refuses to become a wage slave will be destroyed. And I wouldn\u2019t of believed it either, if I hadn\u2019t known it already in my heart, and had it proven<\/em> by revelation after revelation, and then having it proven<\/em> to me by the things that he told me that nobody knew but me. No one knew but me of some of the things that\u2019d gone on because I just hadn\u2019t got around to talking<\/em> about it. So he knew<\/em> he was on the inside<\/em>, looking at this monstrous mess. Now we are in a difficult<\/em> time, and we can make<\/em> it, if you want to make it. Say, I\u2019m going to get out of here. It\u2019s already too late. They\u2019ll look you up six months after you leave here. You are already finished. You love liberty enough to come in here, and some of you didn\u2019t even know why you came in here. It\u2019s already too late. Whether you\u2019re in here by mistake or you\u2019re in here because you brought yourself under your own power, it\u2019s already too late for you. They will never trust you again. No matter how much you tell, no matter how you sing, no matter how many lies you would try to create against this holy work, there is nothing you can do.<\/p>\n

Voice in Congregation: <\/strong>Right.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> You won\u2019t be able to wash your hands. You\u2019ll be like Pilate trying to wash the blood off your hands, and there\u2019s no way you\u2019re going to get the blood off your hands, because they\u2019re going to hold you responsible.<\/p>\n

Voices in Congregation:<\/strong> Right.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> They\u2019ll never trust you, because you\u2019ve been<\/em> here. So the best<\/em> thing for you<\/em> to do is to get with us and cooperate and unite in this mind and spirit, and go on forward to liberty<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Peace. (Pause) He made a remark. He said I understand that people call you God. (Calms) Some of them do. And I said, well, we believe in the god ship consciousness. I wasn\u2019t going to be freely talking about that. I said that uh, Jesus said that we all<\/em> are gods. Ye are gods, he said, when they took him to co\u2013 and acclaimed uh, him first for his healings, then after a while he began to talk about him being the Son of God, and they took him and persecuted<\/em> him. He said\u2013 When they took him to uh\u2013 criticize him, took him up to task, Jesus said, ye are gods<\/em> and sons. He said ye all are gods. So I\u2013 I handled it that way. He said, well, a lot of people might think you\u2019re crazy for that kind of a point of view, but he said people in high places in this nation fear<\/em> you \u2013 and I think this is exactly as it was quoted \u2013 fear<\/em> you as if you were a god. So if the people in high places recognize and fear me as if I were a god, how much more should you who have seen miracles that no man can do (voice rises) (unintelligible word, sounds like \u201creverence\u201d) god.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Sustained applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Peace. You should recognize the moving of the Spirit of God, for God is principle, and where God is, there\u2019ll be mighty signs and wonders, miracles. And these miracles were here last Sunday. You saw people on crutches that had to\u2013 had all kinds of operations healed instantly and dancing just like a little child spinning on a top. You saw as they s\u2013 mentioned people running who had incurable diseases of the lungs, and it was not possible for them to even exercise, and they ran and they kept on running. You saw cancers healed and spit up, you saw all\u2013 all miracles. You saw one healed of blindness on the back row, I remember. One miracle of one woman healed on the back row of blindness. Now if you<\/em> who have seen<\/em> these things cannot believe, when those who are running this nation down to hell do<\/em> believe, that ought to make us<\/em> feel ashamed.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> (Pause) Now if Mr. Nixon didn\u2019t announce it to you, [if] you got good sense you would know that a dictatorship\u2019s coming, because people are not going to allow what\u2019s happening like today, another young child on the front page, a little eleven-year-old or ten-year-old taken away. Said undoubtedly he\u2019s killed. Little blond-hair boy last\u2013 couple of weeks ago with a little Mexican girl, we\u2013 I had to find one in Los Angeles, I\u2013 one of our members, the nine-year-old child was taken, but I brought that back because I\u2019m different than the ordinary. And I brought that child back, and I brought the children back on many occasions. I think it was Louvie Davis\u2019, wasn\u2019t it, that was\u2013 When she called on me just found\u2013 it went back into her house and found, there the children were, or suddenly they kind of appeared at the same time I was meditating. And we\u2019ve not lost<\/em> any children to these vicious animals that\u2019re out there. But we are extraordinary class of evolutionary development. Now if you didn\u2019t uh, agree with that, you\u2019re kind of foolish<\/em>. Now if I had said I am the I Am, you might have taken an issue<\/em> with that, although I know<\/em> I am what I say<\/em> I am. I have no question about it.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Peace. Surely you must admit that in an atmosphere where people have no uh, problem being resurrected\u2013 Everyone that dies in my presence where I\u2019m immediately present, or where people have all these miracles done and have little ones returned suddenly, as it were, in the air. The very night it was brought to me here in this pulpit, at that moment<\/em> I said they\u2019ll be\u2013 it\u2019ll be all right, and look around in the bed\u2013 living room and then\u2013 There they are and the nine-year-old down in Los Angeles that I just<\/em> returned. But this shows you how bad the conditions are, that people are having their children stolen out of their homes, people cannot walk down a street at night, Certainly you can\u2019t walk in the poorer<\/em> neighborhoods, and it\u2019s getting really difficult to walk anywhere<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Stirs.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Now what\u2019s going to happen? This is all stirred up, this climate\u2019s all stirred up, of course, to make the people want to do something about it. And you\u2019re hearing a lot of people cry for law and order. Now they\u2019ve invoked a new legislation that\u2013 uh, we see the gas chamber back before our eyes. And I notice every crime that\u2019s going to be\u2013 it\u2019s going to be used for, is a crime where ninety percent of those people who are involved in the crime are black. You read\u2013 you read the statistics, you\u2019ll find out I\u2019m telling just exactly the truth on the matter. Now if murder is right, if it\u2019s right to kill anyone, they\u2013 they\u2019ve got a law now that says it\u2019s a\u2013 it\u2019s right to kill a\u2013 is a\u2013 anyone who kills a police officer should go to the gas chamber. Well, I\u2019m going to say if it\u2019s going to be right to kill anyone, then it should be the same (Pause) right extended to the little old lady or the little old man that\u2019s killed on the street, but in our<\/em> country today, the people in uniform are worth more than the little old ladies and the little old men.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Scattered applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> There\u2019s nothing in there that says that the little old ladies and little old men that are beat to death or ravagely beaten and assaulted and die in their homes or on the street, nothing\u2019s going to happen to their murderers. But if you shoot somebody in a uniform, it\u2019s automatic death. We\u2019re a sick<\/em> country \u2013 very<\/em> sick \u2013 when people can ch\u2013 say that one person\u2019s life is more valuable than the other. Now perhaps the Supreme Court won\u2019t\u2013 won\u2019t uphold this, if the Supreme Court exists. And if Mr. Nixon[\u2018s] statement is true that he won\u2019t accept the decision from the Supreme Court that would reverse his own<\/em> decision, (Pause) Mr. Kennedy will be correct that we\u2019ll have a bloodless coup. A bloodless coup means that dictatorship takes over without a gun being shot. And I tell you tonight that that\u2019s exactly how it\u2019s going to happen. It may not and very quite likely will<\/em> not happen over this issue, but it will come without a gun being fired. You\u2019re going to wake up one night, and you\u2019ll find emergency Executive Orders 11490 and 11647 to give the president the total<\/em> power to declare what is a clear and present danger. You will see those laws in effect, and when those laws go in effect, that means that every police department, every sheriff\u2019s department, every National Guard, everybody in this United States will keep one tempo. We\u2019ll march at the same beat that the president says march. He\u2019s already got the power. Executive Orders 11490 and 11647, just revised, gives him absolute power. The courts will be suspended. The legislatures will be suspended. They might as well be anyway. They\u2019re now talking today \u2013 I heard them talking \u2013 about doing away with the jury system and letting judges decide your fate. Well, that\u2019s wonderful. Well, that\u2019s really wonderful. A bunch of paid bureaucrats deciding whether you\u2019re guilty or innocent. This country was founded on the principle that you had a right to be tried by a jury of your peers, but as Sister Tupper uh, one\u2013 uh, one of our secretaries, the valley secretary, she just served on the jury this week, she said I never saw anything like it. It was so cruel. Said they didn\u2019t want to do anything but get out of there and convict the person, they wanted to find an excuse to convict the little girl, even though the evidence was against them, they were determined<\/em> to convict her. Even some of them said, well, her parents are not here anyway, so she ought to be convicted. Sister Tupper setting there\u2013 right down there on the front row, and I\u2019ve been on\u2013 the foreman of the grand jury (clears throat) and I\u2019ve served on many a jury, and if you\u2019ve served on a jury, you know that\u2019s the way people are today. They want to get their\u2013 to get to their beauty shop, they want to get home to their dinner, and they want to convict people just as quick as they can convict them. I\u2019ve served. I know. And if you\u2019ve served on a jury, you know.<\/p>\n

Voice in Congregation:<\/strong> That\u2019s<\/em> right.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> That\u2019s how little value liberty has anymore. But at least you\u2019ve got some<\/em> chance when you had 12. Now most states have reduced it to six. When you got 12 people, there was a chance, when all of them had to agree whether you were guilty, when you had all ne\u2013 the necessity that all<\/em> agree that you were guilty, at least you had a chance that there\u2019d be one Good Samaritan that would require all the facts. Now they want to make judges decide that. And if Mr. Nixon gets his<\/em> way, or the leaders, the spiritual wicked leaders in high places, if they get their<\/em> way, nobody will have a\u2013 a say-so except the president.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> He\u2019ll<\/em> decide whether you\u2019re guilty or innocent. He\u2019ll<\/em> decide how long you go to jail. He\u2019ll<\/em> decide where you work. He\u2019ll<\/em> decide how much food you\u2019ll have. He\u2019ll<\/em> decide everything<\/em>. He\u2019ll have total<\/em> power. Say, it won\u2019t come. I\u2019ll take any bet here tonight, and I\u2019m not a gambling man. Put your money where your mouth is.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> I\u2019ll\u2013 I\u2019ll take any bet. (Pause) It will<\/em> happen. It will<\/em> happen. I wish you were right and I was wrong, but it will happen. Because the people are going to demand it. You hear it on the radio talk shows, they say all this lawlessness, all this crime, all this violence, I don\u2019t feel safe, and they\u2019re stirring up all this violence, shooting the drugs to our children, pushing the liquor on the neighborhoods, pushing everything that would uh, pollute the minds and destroy our own will. They\u2019re giving everything we can that will discourage us from having any peace and encourage<\/em> of the anarchy, they\u2019re encouraging it in high places, because if a nine-year-old boy can find heroin pushers, then the FBI could if they wanted to find them. (Clears throat)<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Peace. I don\u2019t know whether you\u2019re familiar or not but in\u2013 we\u2019ve had nearly every major city in America has lost a child under ten years of age from heroin<\/em>. One a day die in New York, a child a day. Now let me say again, if a nine-year-old, and in one case I think it was a seven<\/em>-year-old. If a seven<\/em>-year-old can find the du\u2013 the drug pusher, if he can find the pusher man, let me tell you, the FBI could and the CIA could and the police could if they really wanted<\/em> to, but they don\u2019t want<\/em> to. They don\u2019t want to. They want us to be divided amongst ourselves. They want us to get on drugs so that we uh, don\u2019t know our own mind. Why, these people on drugs will even steal from their own mother. I just talked to one of the relatives in\u2013 just a moment ago. I\u2019d saved her. She told me how the picture at the background when I was with some of the workers, she told me how a picture had saved her from her own\u2013 I\u2013 I won\u2019t speak of who she is, but her own (voice rises) child tried to kill her\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> \u2013to get $6.55 she had in a purse, (Pause) because he\u2019s on dope<\/em>, and the system wants<\/em> him on dope so we\u2019ll kill off each other or we\u2019ll have it so bad that we\u2019ll all want laws to get tougher<\/em>. The law\u2019ll be so desperate that we\u2019ll say, come on, big brother, come on, big dictator. At least I want to be able to walk in the streets<\/em> at night. Now what kind of a dictatorship is it going to be? Will it be a dictatorship of the people<\/em>? Not a ghost of a chance. Will it be a socialist kind of dictatorship? But I don\u2019t like dictatorships at all<\/em>. My desire is to see a perfect utopia based on non-violence, based on apostolic socialism as it was on the day of Pentecost when they had all things in common. But is there any<\/em> chance of it being socialistic? Not one chance in the world. The only possible<\/em> way it can go is fascistic. Look at all these people sleeping in here. Going on to hell, they\u2019re on their way to hell and don\u2019t know it.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> They\u2019re fanning the flames of hell right now, and don\u2019t even have enough\u2013 enough courage or patience to stay awake. I\u2019ve got the key<\/em>. I\u2019ve got the key<\/em>. I\u2019ve got the way to get through<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> (Pause) When you\u2019ve got oil industries that kill off President [John] Kennedy, and it\u2019s been proved<\/em> by who killed Kennedy. Colonel Buchanan. He had to get out of the nation after he proved it, and many others have documented it. Anybody knows that [Jack] Ruby and all that bunch, and Ruby died conveniently of cancer, [Lee Harvey] Oswald was no more the uh, killer of Kennedy than I am.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> He was just a st\u2013 tool<\/em>, he was a patsy. And all these pictures that came out and films that documented that Kennedy was fired on from at least two, if not three, different directions, and then they say Oswald was the only one that killed him. And we find that Ruby Carroll knew uh\u2013 Ruby knew more \u2013 not Ruby Carroll, excuse me \u2013 Ruby knew more about\u2013 Jack Ruby knew more about what was happening, the fact that the time of the moving of Oswald had been changed. He knew something that the chief of the Dallas police didn\u2019t, that only the Secret Service knew, the personal Secret Service of the President of the United States, only they knew<\/em> when Oswald was to be moved, but Ruby said, I found out. He said it on his tape, that little record that was sold just before he died. He said I found out they were going to change his moving<\/em> time, so I went over to the sheriff\u2019s uh, department, the jail at a different hour. So it was a conspiracy. Computer Automation Magazine<\/em> said, and a Republican magazine at that, it said all the facts\u2013 it said all the facts of this murder through their statistical computers, and it came out that at least 50 people were involved with the murder of President Kennedy, and they were from the top cabinet\u2013 from the top of the cabinet of the United States clear down to the Dallas Police. He said if that\u2019s what the statistical computation came out, that this murder had to be carried out with the design of at least 50 people in every level of government. Now that isn\u2019t my<\/em> opinion, that\u2019s Computer and Automation Magazine,<\/em> a conservative Republican magazine, that just did a statistical study that had no ax to grind whatsoever. All these facts have been given us. Just like Martin Luther King. They murdered him. Anybody that tries to unite the people, they murder them. They murdered him.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> And you say\u2013 then\u2013 then we come up with that old story that it was only one man [James Earl Ray]. Yet somebody caused the uh, entire Memphis Police to go the wrong way. Somebody got on their radio waves, their own\u2013 their own frequency band and told them to go the wrong way. Now does one man be able to shoot and one man get on the radio and do all that together while he\u2019s running down the street. The one man that shot him was uh, too busy getting away to be doing any radio work, but it was a high-level thing that was able to break into the frequency band of the Memphis Police and get them to go the wrong way, and we were told a big fat lie, and most of these old jackleg Uncle Tom preachers tell it to us, and say uh, he was killed by one man, and we just go right on believing it. (Clears throat)<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> (Calms) \u2018Course, I know what you\u2019re going to say to me. And that\u2019s why it takes all night to get through<\/em> to people. You\u2019re going to say to me immediately<\/em> what\u2013 we don\u2019t have to worry because God\u2019s going to come and he\u2019s going to take care of it all.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> God\u2019s going to come with a fan in his hand, he\u2019s going to shake up everything, and it\u2019s gonna be set right, uh\u2013 How do you know, you say? Well my\u2013 my Bible tells me so. The Bible also tells you a lot of other stuff, you don\u2019t know whether it\u2019s so.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> You don\u2019t\u2013 You don\u2019t take that Bible very seriously at all. It says in there if wouldst thou be perfect, Jesus said. When the man came to him how to be saved, he said if wouldst thou be perfect, and he said sell all that you have and give to the poor. You don\u2019t take that very seriously. It says when you go out in these days, he said in the days of the kingdom when you go out to minister, don\u2019t take any purse, and don\u2019t take any scrip.<\/p>\n

(Pause) (Moderates) I notice nobody<\/em> takes that kind of theory, but when we get into trouble and our nation looks like it\u2019s going to hell, we all start riding on the book. We just hide behind the book, and say well, God\u2019s gone take care of it. Now let me tell you, your Grandma didn\u2019t tell you this for nothing, God helps those who help themselves.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> You see, there\u2019s great truth<\/em> in this Bible, but it has to be brought out by the prophet. That\u2019s why you must have this booklet [The Letter Killeth<\/a>]. It will not be offered again. Very rarely will it be offered away from the mother church in Redwood Valley. You better get<\/em> this and study it and get an eye opener of the ages, because if you don\u2019t get this eye opener, then you\u2019ll be lost. This Bible contains truth<\/em>, and that truth cannot be brought out except without a preacher. How can you hear without a preacher or a prophet? How can he preach lest he be sent? How do you know he\u2019s sent? He\u2019ll have nine gifts, just like I\u2019ve got. He\u2019ll have the fruits of the Spirit. He\u2019ll have boldness, compassion, gentleness, meekness, courage. He\u2019ll have all the fruits of the spirit and all the gifts of the spirit, and if he doesn\u2019t have it, you won\u2019t know your front end from your rear end.<\/p>\n

You see I\u2019m in the Spirit. Love, truth. God is love, God is truth, and I\u2019m right here in that Spirit. The Spirit will make alive, but the letter \u2013 all<\/em> the Bibles \u2013 will kill<\/em>, the Bibles murder<\/em>, the Bibles destroy<\/em>, but the Spirit maketh alive.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> You see, you do not know<\/em> by the letter. The letter has been taken by King James, who persecuted the early whites\u2013 the early white colonists. He was a great persecutor. He was a drunk. He was a homosexual deviate. Not that that was his uh, uh, any major offense against him, though it is not my custom. I would say certainly his drunkenness and his slave-holding methods would<\/em> be an indictment against him. He was a slave owner, and he was a slave trader, and he sent the first ship Jesus, the first ship to Africa, the first ship was called the Good Ship Jesus, and it brought blacks back in chains. This king<\/em> who wrote this Bible did that. The last version. That\u2019s why you\u2019ve got to have a prophet<\/em> in these days, because the last interpretation of the Bible was written by a murderer, a whoremonger, a homosexual, a pathological deviate and a slave trader who tricked the blacks and<\/em> the Indians and<\/em> the whites by sending the Good Ship Jesus to bring people back in chains. That<\/em> is what was done by the King of England. You understand. There\u2019s a difference between the Word<\/em> of God and King James. King James is not God<\/em>.<\/p>\n

You can be the fulfillment in your<\/em> dispensation. If you will take a cognizance and take likeness of\u2013 to what I\u2019m saying and listen closely to what I am saying and reflect upon it, you\u2019ll take a picture of me. You can reproduce a greater picture in your own likeness. You say, well, Jesus\u2019<\/em> day is a great day. No. This is a greater<\/em> day than Jesus\u2019 day, because he said these things shall you do \u2013 Jesus said this \u2013 these things shall you do and<\/em> what?<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Because I go to the Father. So this is a greater day than the day of Jesus.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> In many ways, you can see this, if you have an eye to spiritual understanding. And if you have that eye, and you have that boldness of the preaching ministry, you\u2019re perfected with what? Apostles, pastors, teachers, evangelists. You must have apostles, pastors, teachers, evangelists, so forth and so on, without which there is no what? Perfection of the saints. But I would like to get this across<\/em> to you because you\u2019re going to lose your soul thinking that you\u2019re going to be saved by just reading. In here is truth, in here is also error. In here are statements by the devil himself. You\u2019ve got quotes of Satan. Somebody\u2019ll say I\u2019m going to\u2013 Every word in here is true. Why, it\u2019s not so. There are statements in here by Lucifer, supposedly. They\u2019re not so. A whole lot of statements in here of translation<\/em> that are not so. If you\u2019ll read my booklet that is nothing more than your own scriptures, just put together, you\u2019ll see with your own eyes that there is truth and error here, and it takes honesty, it takes a spirit of truth, it takes someone to im\u2013 to become the Spirit<\/em> of Truth to bring out the truth to you.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Now what is example? And I\u2013 This is what bothers me, as I say. You will go to this Bible when you don\u2019t want to work, but when you want to get out of something, you uh\u2013 you\u2013 you\u2019ll run to the Bible when you uh, can\u2019t face the reality, but when you uh, have this Bible meddling with how you live, you don\u2019t want anything to do with it. People that\u2019re uptight right now. They\u2019ll be a lot of people uptight and they\u2019re usually uptight in most of the meetings it seems happen to be women about the Bible. When I get on this subject, there\u2019s always seem to be women uptight about the Bible\u2013<\/p>\n

On Wednesday night, a woman was saved from a stroke, was healed from a stroke, and she was there, she\u2019s sitting on the right hand right now. You were told the exact page in a book you were reading. And not\u2013 not now, but how long ago? Year ago or two years ago. Exact page in a book that she was eading\u2013 reading a few years ago, and not just something about<\/em> that page, but it named the number<\/em> of the page and told that she was hung up on that page, and I think the number was because it\u2019s that peculiar<\/em> number, it was 16<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Peace. There she stands or sits right back there. She was healed of a stroke, because I knew<\/em> her thoughts<\/em>. (Ministerial fervor) I looked into her mind and I separated the bone from the marrow. I\u2019m sharper than a two-edged sword. You feel it already.<\/p>\n

Hebrews 4:12 tells you, that\u2019s the only<\/em> way you can know the Word of God. When the Word of God comes, it will be sharper<\/em> than a two-edged sword, and it will discern<\/em> the thoughts, and it will know the intents<\/em> of the heart, and I ask you if I\u2019m not doing it (unintelligible word). In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God and the Word is made flesh and dwells amongst us and you behold the glory, you\u2019ll get no glory until the Word is made flesh, and now you\u2019re getting some glory, because I have made the Word flesh.<\/p>\n

When the great combustion took place when I was just about four or five years of age, when I was dying in my heart, I listened<\/em>, and I believed. When all the churches had closed their door to me and I was in poverty and filth and squalor, I listened<\/em> that I was the only God<\/em> to me there was. (Ministerial fervor) I listened<\/em> to that voice, and it healed<\/em> me when I was dying, and it\u2019s brought me through gunshots, it\u2019s brought me through stabbings, it\u2019s brought me through trucks that\u2019ve run over me, it\u2019s brought me through oppositions, persecutions, it\u2019s brought through all kinds of temptations and trials.<\/p>\n

It said then it is that ye are all gods. Well, I had to manifest my own individuality in God, my own personification of God, that you might know what you are. (Voice builds) Now you say all I got to do then is go out and become God. Oh no, it takes a lot of dying. It takes a lot of dying. I\u2019ve come down through 42 generations. I have been strafed, I\u2019ve been shot, I\u2019ve been hung, I\u2019ve come through lynch mob leaders, I\u2019ve come through hangings, I\u2019ve come through every kind of opposition. I have come down through 42 generations, treading the winepresses alone. If you didn\u2019t, then you\u2019re a dummy, \u2018cause according to King James here, God was up there in the skies. That\u2019s what Billy Graham says and all these evangelists said, he\u2019s up there in the skies, and he was lonely, and he made some angels, some cherubims and some seraphims, and they started singing hosannas to him and hallelujah, but that still<\/em> was too boring to him. (Pause) He made him a more beautiful<\/em> angel, the most beautiful angel of all<\/em> he made, according to the King James, was Lucifer<\/em>, \u2018cause he didn\u2019t like those angels that were singing in the same tones, the cherubims and the seraphims, so he made him a more\u2013 most beautiful<\/em> angel, and they called him Lucifer. But he made him too well. (Pause) Now I\u2019m not talking about the true<\/em> God, I\u2019m talking about what King James has said. He made Lucifer so well<\/em> that Lucifer led off a third of his angels into a revolt. Now, isn\u2019t it true?<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Lucifer led off one-third of the angels into revolt<\/em>. Now whose fault was that? Lucifer didn\u2019t ask to be made. God<\/em> made a\u2013 a\u2013 God<\/em> made him. The Skygod made him, according to the old tradition, the Skygod<\/em> made Lucifer.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Is that right? In the beginning, God, and out of God, proceeded everything. You mean you haven\u2019t had any trouble believing in that kind of God. You haven\u2019t had any trouble believing in the King James God? Remember one God, according to King James \u2013 not the true God, but according to King James \u2013 God had one faithful man. Who was that man? Job<\/em>. Everybody else had gone to hell. Everybody else had cursed God and died. But he said, I\u2019ve got one faithful servant left. Lucifer came up and he said\u2013 he said, you see here, Satan, I\u2019ve got one<\/em> faithful servant you can\u2019t touch. Lucifer said, give me a chance at him. Said, all right, said you\u2013 you messed up on everything you\u2019ve made. Give me a chance at him. God said, oh no, you can do with him what you will. Now isn\u2019t that a fine way to reward faithfulness? Now when you\u2019re faithful to me<\/em>, and I\u2013 I say I\u2019m just a earthly God. I\u2019m just a temple of the Holy Spirit of Truth. I\u2019m just a simple epistle<\/em>. But when you\u2019re faithful to me, I don\u2019t turn you over to Satan.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> That be like me uh, uh, I\u2019ve got\u2013 I say, looked down there at night and I say, well, who\u2019s faithful? Lois Ponts, she\u2019s been a good nurse. I\u2019m gonna send you out over here into one of these bad sections of town and\u2013 and uh, see how well you do without\u2013 your clothes off.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Hmm? That\u2019s just about how stupid<\/em> it is. I take one of you out, and I say, well, all right, I\u2019ll put you over here with a den of devils. I want you to prove<\/em> how faithful you are. Now that\u2019s<\/em> not the way you treat faithful people. You<\/em> don\u2019t treat faithful people that way. When you find somebody faithful, you give them more<\/em> and more encouragement<\/em> and more love<\/em> and more protection<\/em>. You don\u2019t try to give them more tests<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> I\u2019m talking about the living God. I don\u2019t know what you do about your dead God, but I know what the living God does.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Peace. (Pause) Well, Job\u2013 Job had been faithful in all<\/em> of his ways, and he says I\u2019m going to let the hedge down. God \u2013 the false God, the King James God \u2013 said going to let the hedge down, and lo and behold, what did come to Job? What happened to him? Well, you name it. Children were taken. (unintelligible word) Cattle was taken, (Pause) houses were gone, lands were parched, finally he got boils, everything<\/em> was taken from Job. He had boils, and the skin worms<\/em> got in his boils, and poor old Job. I wish I had people who were as faithful to me for all I do for them, as much as that Job dummy was to that Skygod.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> (Ministerial fervor) \u2018Cause Job\u2013 Job stood up and said, though the skin worms destroy my body, yet in my flesh, rotten as it is, I will see God. Now if somebody like Job could see God with all the hell he was going through, why can\u2019t you see God tonight?<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll<\/em> link you up with the universal mind, if you\u2019ll just give me time, but first you got to get rid of the old<\/em> gods before you can get a\u2013 the living<\/em> god. You can\u2019t put any new wine into old vessels, you can\u2019t patch up this garment. Jones:<\/strong> When you got into the legal difficulty, there was no attorneys provided for you. There was no home provided for you when you were lonely. You didn\u2019t know whether you were going to have any place to go to when you got old, but somebody came along and changed<\/em> all that. Somebody made a di\u2013 a difference<\/em> in your life.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Somebody made the living God real<\/em> to you.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> (Calms) Peace. (Pause) You\u2019re precious. You may be seated. (Pause) You had as much trouble as Job did, and more, because you see, it doesn\u2019t make any sense. In the beginning was God. If King James is right, why did he make a devil? No one made him make a devil. Uh\u2013 And I know Billy Graham, some of them say, well, he made the devil so he could tempt you<\/em>. Well, why\u2019d he make you<\/em>? (Laughs) Those are questions you cannot answer. I mean, you see, you don\u2019t\u2013 you\u2013 if you were up there\u2013 and you have to put yourself in the other fellow\u2019s shoes for a moment. If you were that Skygod, and you were up there alone, I know what some of you would do. You\u2019d say, well, I got myself in this mess, now at least I\u2019m going to put my pain on anybody else. Jones:<\/strong> Some of you say, I don\u2019t know how I got to be God, but I\u2013 if I\u2013 if I\u2019m in<\/em> this situation, I\u2019m not going to put it on anybody else. (Laughs) You just go through the deep, deep recesses of space, and you\u2019d let the dark just keep on covering the deep, but that<\/em> fellow wanted to get some light out. It\u2019d been fine<\/em> if King James was right<\/em>, but the kind of God he<\/em> described didn\u2019t make any sense at all, \u2018cause after he got the light<\/em> out, he put a devil out.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> He put darkness out with light, all supposedly to test you. And the first story, the first chapter is enough for you to have trouble to believe. The first chapter in the book of Genesis is enough for you to have trouble believing.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> \u2018Cause you see s\u2013 uh, vegetables growing before the sun comes out. You hear something put together in six days. That\u2019s pretty rough to get all that together in six days. You have all that to believe, and you\u2019ve got to believe that, and you say you had no trouble believing that. Well, you do<\/em> have trouble, if you go back there and read it, because you\u2019ll find there\u2019s two<\/em> creation stories \u2013 First Genesis and Second Genesis \u2013 and the two of them don\u2019t agree. They tell the same story exactly, but they changed it\u2013 the whole history, the whole development is changed in the second chapter, till you don\u2019t know which end\u2019s up. But more than that, Adam and Eve\u2013 What do they do? They didn\u2019t ask to come into this mess. But uh, uh, God gets a hold of some dust. He\u2019s tired<\/em> of angels now, and the best, the most beautiful<\/em> angel he made, he\u2019s gone flit off into space somewhere and taken a third of his angels, so he\u2019s going to try on little men. So he gets him some dust and he (unintelligible word) something up there and he says now A-damn.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> A-damn all right, because it\u2019s been damned ever since it started A\u2013 damn. A\u2013 damn.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Shh. So he look at Adam and he says, well, (stumbles over words) Adam don\u2019t look quite complete. Everything we\u2019ve got is come because of the false God being taught. That\u2019s why you got to get a true<\/em> God. That\u2019s why women got so much trouble today. That\u2019s why women don\u2019t count for nothing. That\u2019s why women don\u2019t have equal pay. They can do the same amount of work, but they won\u2019t get half the pay. They won\u2019t get the job promotions. They never get a hold of the top of the\u2013 uh, the organizations. They never get to really own the businesses. Somehow they\u2019re blocked in the wage market. It all comes back to Adam and Eve. Because where did Eve\u2013 Eve only counted for one rib out of Adam. It took a whole mud pile to make Adam\u2013<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> (Voice climbs) \u2013but after he made Adam, this false King James God just plucked out one<\/em> rib\u2013 one<\/em> rib from Adam, and that was woman. Whoa-man, out of man. You see the whole<\/em> reason we\u2019re in trouble today, the whole<\/em> reason blacks are mistreated, the whole<\/em> reason women are mistreated, it comes from the false religion.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Here it says\u2013 In King James, it says servants, slaves, obey your master. That\u2019s why Indians and blacks and poor whites have been slaves for hundreds of years, because it says slaves, obey your master. (Voice moderates) If you got a good master, be thankful, if you\u2019ve got a bad master, endure him.\u201d (Pause) That\u2019s what it says<\/em> in the book.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> But Christ<\/em> didn\u2019t say it, because he said, in Christ we\u2019re free. There\u2019s no male nor female, no bond no free, (clears throat) but King James said a lot of stuff. You\u2019ve got to get the words of Christ separate from all that King James says. And who would know what Christ said better than Christ.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> And now I won\u2019t elaborate on that, because if you didn\u2019t get what I was saying then, you were very<\/em> much asleep. (Pause) (Quiet, then builds) Now Adam and Eve. They began the situation, and they were told by God \u2013 and I\u2019m closing on that subject in that\u2013 that portion in just a moment \u2013 and they were told by the false god of King James that uh, they didn\u2019t know anything. After all, they just come from mud and one of them from a rib. They didn\u2019t know<\/em> anything, and he said there\u2019s two trees out there, and one of them you can eat of, and the other one you dare not. You can eat of the tree of life, but you don\u2019t dare eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. You can\u2019t eat the tree that\u2019ll teach you what\u2019s right from wrong. (Pause) Hear what I\u2019m saying? You can\u2019t eat of that tree that tells you what\u2019s right from wrong. Well now, if you don\u2019t eat of a tree, if you don\u2019t know right from wrong, how you going to know to keep from doing<\/em> right from wrong?<\/p>\n

He doesn\u2019t know one thing, but to go after those mice and that bullfrog, every once and he\u2019ll throw that tongue out and get him a fly. He doesn\u2019t know it\u2019s wrong to take flies. Jones:<\/strong> So Adam and Eve didn\u2019t know any difference, and so they go over there and what? Ooh, God said, you eat that tree, the moment you do, the day that you eat thereof, in that day, you will surely<\/em> die, he said. Not only was he not a false God, he was a liar<\/em>, because he\u2013 they walked over here now and the most beautiful angel has turned into a snake in the meantime. The old snake settin\u2019 there, and uh, he\u2019s settin\u2019 there in the garden. And he sees Eve going tripping by, and he says, honey, you rip<\/em> off that apple, you won\u2019t die. Say you can just rip that apple off right now, you can take that apple off of there, and you won\u2019t die. He said the day you eat that apple\u2013 that God lied to you. When you eat that apple, your eyes are gonna get open, and you\u2019re gonna know right from wrong. And God don\u2019t want you to have the same knowledge that he\u2019s<\/em> got, and the\u2013 the moment you eat that apple, you\u2019re gonna know right from wrong. Now who told the truth? \u2018Cause she tripped over there, and she ripped off that apple because her hon\u2013 husband was hungry, and it looked like the best thing around, and she didn\u2019t know<\/em> right from wrong, \u2018cause she hadn\u2019t eaten<\/em> it yet, \u2018cause she couldn\u2019t judge it, because she didn\u2019t eat what would give her the knowledge<\/em> from right and wrong so she took the apple.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> And she\u2019s judged for\u2013 uh, judged for doing something that she yet has not learned to discern, \u2018cause if you don\u2019t know right from wrong in a court, they\u2019ll\u2013 they\u2019ll never sentence you. You\u2013 If they say that you\u2019re not uh\u2013 if you are in\u2013 in a\u2013 you have an inability to discern right from wrong, they\u2019ll put you in a institution or a hospital. They won\u2019t put you in a prison. If they say that you\u2019re unable to discern right from wrong, they\u2019ll call you nuts<\/em>, but they don\u2019t\u2013 they don\u2019t judge<\/em> you. They won\u2019t judge<\/em> you. They won\u2019t put you in a jail<\/em>. They don\u2019t sentence you. But here\u2019s a God who\u2019s supposed to\u2019ve made<\/em> somebody (claps once) that didn\u2019t know right from wrong, didn\u2019t know right from wrong, didn\u2019t know their bottom side from their top side, and he sends them out there, and so naturally<\/em> they\u2019re gone get in trouble. Then he can\u2019t even keep his own word. Said the day you eat, you\u2019re gone die. But the serpent says, the day you eat, your eyes are going to get open, and so they ate, and they got eyes open, \u2018cause they started doing stuff they hadn\u2019t done before.<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Laughter and applause.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> They went back, and Adam looked at Eve and Eve looked at Adam and said you don\u2019t look the same. And then a little bit later, we got Cain and Abel. And a whole story and I\u2019m going to quit right, there because there\u2019s enough to cause you to have trouble believing. Cain\u2013 Adam and Eve are the first man and woman. They have Cain and they have Abel and Cain\u2019s\u2013 What is it\u2013 What happened? Cain slew Abel with the jawbone of an ass. Now that\u2019ll left only three.<\/p>\n

Voice in Congregation:<\/strong> That\u2019s right.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> It left only three, right?<\/p>\n

Congregation:<\/strong> Right.<\/p>\n

Jones:<\/strong> Any fool<\/em> would know that left only three, but Cain took a walk over into the land of Nod and got him a wife. Where\u2019d she come (tape garbles) A gorilla?<\/p>\n
