2. Apparent contact between US Attorney, San Francisco, and GOG [Government of Guyana] Director of Public Prosecutions reported Ref B was not initiated by the Department of Justice. Ambassador, at his discretion, may wish to inform GOG that suggestion made by US Attorney does not represent official USG [United States Government] position.<\/p>\n
