At 3:30 AM on November 20, 1978, Special Agent (SA) [name deleted] was called to the operating room at the Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews Air Force Base by Doctor [name deleted] who had just completed surgery on victim Jackie Speiers. Doctor [name deleted] gave SA [name deleted] small fragments of an unknown caliber bullet on a gauze pad. Also, Doctor [name deleted] provided a 2 1\/2 to 3 inch long strip of grayish material, also on a gauze pad, which he said he removed from Mr. Speiers\u2019 forearm. Doctor [name deleted] stated that the material appeared to be of a plastic composition, possibly from luggage. Doctor [name deleted] stated that the victim was in very critical condition and was being returned to the intensive care unit.<\/p>\n
The victim sustained at least two moons to the upper right arm, at least two to the upper right thigh [2 lines deleted].<\/p>\n
Doctor [name deleted] and Doctor [name deleted] both stated that the wounds sustained by Miss Speiers were from a high velocity weapon, possibly an M-16 or similar type weapon. Miss Speiers\u2019 condition was complicated [2 lines deleted].
