[<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Kerns<\/span>] advised [deleted name] very afraid of the People\u2019s Temple and indicates that threats have been made against her and her children in the past. [deleted name] and two daughters are supposedly past members of the People\u2019s Temple.<\/p>\n<p>PAGE TWO, PD 89-140, UNCLAS<\/p>\n<p>On November 24, 1978, [<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Phil Kerns<\/span>] recontacted and advised that the source of information in Dallas is Faith Kice, who was a nurse who assisted Jones in the healing aspect of the sect. [deleted name] states that Kice was one of three licensed practical nurses who assisted Jones; the other two being Jan Phillips and Linda Dunn (nee Swaney). [deleted name] of opinion that Kice could have information regarding criminal activities of the People\u2019s Temple.<\/p>\n<p>Portland is maintaining contact with [<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Phil Kerns<\/span>] who is in process of writing lengthy book concerning Peoples Temple and who was arranging interviews with several past members of People&#8217;s Temple. [deleted name] has not been completely debriefed, as he has been unavailable.<\/p>\n<p>Sacramento at Marysville, California.
