Section R-1 \u2014 which is labelled in the\u00a0Guyana Index<\/em><\/a>\u00a0as \u201cTerri Buford\u201d \u2013\u2013 consists of 242 pages. (It should be noted that there is a second folder labelled as \u201cTerri Buford,\u201d\u00a0Folder BB-7 of FBI Section 113<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

While many of the documents listed below are in the order in which they appear in the section, several documents which were related to each other but which were scattered throughout \u2013 including Teri Buford\u2019s memos, Jean Brown\u2019s reports, and June Crym’s Law Office reports \u2013 have been arranged in chronological order.<\/p>\n

The citation for these documents should open with the FBI\u2019s official designation of these records, which is \u201cRYMUR 89-4286.\u201d Each individual page in these records has a unique number. Page 2 of this document, for example, is marked \u201cR-1-A-1\u201d. The complete citation for that page, then, would be \u201cRYMUR 89-4286-R-1-A-1\u201d.<\/p>\n

It should also be noted that, while Ms. Buford referred to herself as “Teresa” in some of her formal writings, such as letters to government officials, she was known in the Temple usually as “Terri,” but sometimes as “Teri.” The variations in the spellings were hers, and are reflected in the documents below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
