The FBI combined eight folders of Temple documents \u2013 NN-1 through NN-8 \u2013 into Section 149. The resulting document is 284 pages labelled in the Guyana Index<\/em><\/a> under the names of several people associated with Peoples Temple, including: Native American activist Dennis Banks; author Donald Freed; attorney Charles Garry; publisher Carlton Goodlett; attorney Mark Lane; reporter Gordon Lindsay; and private investigator Joe Mazor. <\/p>\n

The citation for these documents should open with the FBI\u2019s official designation of these records, which is “RYMUR 89-4286.” Each individual page in these records has a unique number. Page 282 of this document, for example, is marked \u201cNN-8-D1\u201d. The complete citation for that page, then, would be \u201cRYMUR 89-4286-NN-8-D1\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
