On December 1, 1978, Joe Holsinger, Administrative Assistant to deceased Congressman Ryan, with offices at Washington, D.C., requested that an agent from WFO contact him after 9:00 AM, December 4, 1978, at telephone number (202) 225-3531, to set up an appointment to interview Holsinger about he and [name deleted] long investigation into the People\u2019s Temple (PT).<\/p>\n
In this regard [name deleted] has made available to San Francisco, copies of tapes of interviews conducted by him and various dissidents of the PT, such as Tim and Grace Stoen, etc., and much of Joe Holsinger’s information may therefore be<\/p>\n

However, for information of WFO, on the evening of November 19, 1978, [name deleted]\u2019s wife at San Francisco, received a local telephone call in which the party stated something to the affect [effect], “We got your breadwinner, you\u2019re next”. This matter was being handled by the District Attorney\u2019s office in San Francisco, but Joe Holsinger now states that he now has information that this message was radioed from Guyana to the PT in San Francisco prior to Ryan’s death becoming public knowledge, which may add to the conspiracy aspect of this investigation.<\/p>\n
Holsinger pointed out that in addition to his numerous duties in his capacity in Ryan’s office in Washington, D.C., he is also administrator of the Ryan estate and spends most of his time in Washington, D.C., where he states he also has documents which might pertain to this investigation. He therefore requested that he be interviewed in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n
