Lane stated he telephonically advised Garry on the evening of December 5, 1978, to this effect.<\/p>\n<p>Lane explained that PT members have access to the basement of Garry\u2019s office, and that Garry was undoubtedly unaware that the weapons were stored in the basement.<\/p>\n<p>On December 6, 1978, Lt. [name deleted], Intelligence Unit, SFPD, upon contact by San Francisco, advised that on the <\/p>\n<p>PAGE TWO SF 89-250 UNCLAS <\/p>\n<p>evening of December 5, 1978, attorney Charles Garry personally contacted COP [Chief of Police] Charles Gain, SFPD. Garry indicated that he had just determined that several weapons were in a package stored in the basement of his office. Per request of Garry, SFPD picked up the weapons which were identified as follows:<\/p>\n<p>1) Sturm .357 Luger, SN 153-27760, with a 4\u201d barrel. Record of sale April 6, 1978, to [name deleted].<\/p>\n<p>2) .38 Chief Special, 2\u201d barrel, SN 636J9. Data transfer April 30, 1973 to [name and address deleted], Redwood [Valley], California.<\/p>\n<p>3) .38 Chief Special, SN J 142065, S&#038;W Chief Special. Data transfer October 11, 1973, to [name and address deleted], San Francisco, California.<\/p>\n<p>Lt. [name deleted] stated that the SFPD would maintain custody of these weapons.<\/p>\n<p>Armed and dangerous.
