Unknown subject telephonically contacted Command Center, United States Secret Service (USSS), Intelligence<\/p>\n

Division, and stated that a bomb threat had been received at the Embassy of Guyana.<\/p>\n
USSS, Intelligence Division, telephonically advised Washington Field at 8:40 AM, November 21, 1978, the following details:<\/p>\n
The call was received at the Embassy by and Embassy employee, Keith Greaves, at approximately 8:00 AM. The caller was a white male who stated, “At nine o\u2019clock a bomb will go off. You had better evacuate the building.” The caller then terminated the call.<\/p>\n
USSS further advised that a search team conducted a search utilizing some dogs with negative results.<\/p>\n
Mr. Keith Greaves, Embassy of Guyana, was interviewed by SA T.E. Nicoletti at 10:45 AM. He advised that the first threat call was received at 8:10 AM and lasted 25 minutes. The caller was a black male who stated, “There is a bomb planted at the Embassy. It will go off at 9 AM.” The caller spoke in a calm but rapid manner and terminated the call. Greaves immediately notified the United States Department of State (USDS), Command Center.<\/p>\n

At 8:31 AM, a second call was received by Greaves. The caller spoke in a singing manner, stating, “You have one half hour more.” The call was terminated by Greaves immediately.<\/p>\n
Greaves stated that both calls were received at number 265-6900. He described the caller as a black male, 30-35, American accent with no background noise.<\/p>\n
