“I was a classmate and Redwood Valley neighbor of Liane's while we were in High School. She was extremely bright, cheerful, and had a great attitude about life. Like many of the other young Temple members, she was extremely private about her beliefs and external activities, but I enjoyed her company very much. She was an intelligent young woman who thought for herself, but also had profound respect for the wishes of her family and church. Rest in peace, Liane. ” - Cathy Harris (no relation)

Still a Father, 30 Years Later ” - Sherwin Harris

“I met Liane when she was 14 years old. We got along well from the beginning. She reminded me of myself growing up. She had frizzy dark brown hair, thick glasses and an engaging sense of humor. She had her own unique zaniness and she was kind to all. I spent quite a bit of time with her whole family, and we became friends. As she grew older, I saw her grow up into a dedicated and wonderful person. She was never unkind, and she brightened any setting with her exuberrance. I am so sorry she is no longer here. She died much too young.” - Laura Johnston Kohl
