Jonestown Survivor has a Busy Spring 2018
Jonestown Survivor has lots of plans for the next six months. Besides teaching 6th grade full time, I am staying busy! I am co-editing the Communal Societies Journal, published by the Communal Studies Association, and writing a number of other articles.
January: Already, several email interviews with the Portuguese Media and a British high school
student. I expect more, including a follow-up from an Australian television program.
February: a visit to University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, with a number of presentations. My
recent interview with A&E will be aired at the end of the month.
March: a trip back to Guyana – Georgetown and Jonestown, teaching classes at CSU-San
Bernadino and San Diego State University
April: a visit to Arkansas Tech University, with a number of presentations, Communal Studies
Board Members Conference Call, and Bay Area Book Fair tabling my book
JONESTOWN SURVIVOR: An Insider’s Look.
As we approach the 40th Anniversary of the deaths in Jonestown, many people are making contact with the survivor community. Many survivors will gather for our private events as well. There are many lessons still to be learned from Peoples Temple and Jonestown.
