April 19 University of San Francisco, Schiavo Science Center 303 (1-2 p.m.), and Meeting at California Historical Society in my new role as “Advisor” to the Peoples Temple Archive there, to learn of current status of the Collection.
April 21 CSUSM (OSHER Class) – Temecula Higher Education Center (9:30-11:30) Theme: “The Evolution of Peoples Temple in the 1960s and 1970s”
April 25 Warwick’s Bookstore Book Event at 7 p.m., with Jeff Guinn, author of The Road to Jonestown. Jeff interviewed everyone with any connection to Peoples Temple around the country, and interviewed all willing survivors, including me. The survivors who have read the book have found it thoroughly researched and wonderful.
