JONESTOWN SURVIVOR – Setting up Spring 2017 Events
I am a Board Member of the Communal Studies Association, and for the past ten years, I have presented scholarly research papers at the Communal Studies Association Conferences. I often speak about both Peoples Temple and Synanon, since I lived in each community.
I am a Jonestown Survivor and have written a book about my life – JONESTOWN SURVIVOR: An Insider's Look. I travel around the country, presenting to universities, conferences, libraries, service groups, Quaker venues, and other events. I cover a huge range of topics, from New Religions, Cults, Psychology, Writing, bilingual education, Peoples Temple, and History of the 1960s and 1970s.
I will be traveling to Seattle to speak at U of Puget Sound and perhaps another class at an additional Seattle university or setting. I would love to come to any university and speak to your students. I do request an Honorarium to cover my expenses.
I am a retired bilingual teacher, and writer. I am on the Speakers' Bureau of the Jonestown Institute. I have my current biography, but you can also take a look at my website, www.jonestownsurvivor.com, or google my name to look for some further information.
I look forward to hearing from you.
