More than a dozen relatives of Gene and June Cordell died in Jonestown. June Cordell died on August 26, 2010 at age 82 following a stroke earlier that month. Eugene Cordell died October 15, 2020 at age 91. Both had been lifelong residents of Indianapolis, Indiana.
