“Steve Addison taught a Sunday School class, I recall, back when I joined in 1970, though Sunday school was discontinued shortly after that. I think his family came to California from Indiana with the church in the mid-60s, but I'm not positive about that. I vaguely remember a brother and a mother, who cycled out of the church as it grew. Steve was a tall, slender man who kept a low profile, but was a dedicated and trusted member, and worked as a psychiatric technician at Mendocino State Hospital, probably, until it closed in the early 70s. In Jonestown, Steve worked in medical records, partnered with Mary Morton (birthday 1/24), and was a stepdad to her daughter, Gloria Victoria Parker, aka Vickie Morton, 8 (birthday 2/7). I hope they were happy in their short time together and are with the angels now. ” - Kathryn Barbour
