Remembrances |

“I have been thinking about Don Jackson today. He was a kind and gentle person, and tall and handsome. I was thinking about how he once stopped to help a stranded motorist - because he was that sort of person. He was thoughtful and helpful. He stopped and was standing between the broken-down car and his own. A car zoomed up, colliding with his car, and crushed his legs between the two cars. He had a very difficult recovery - more than we ever knew, I am sure. He was very brave and strong.I wish we could go back and take better care of those who had such battles. ” - Laura Johnston Kohl |
