Remembrances

“Maud was a feisty and fun person. She could always find something to laugh about and she had an infectious chuckle. She and Shirley Smith were best friends and they both could have you laughing at yourself in no time. Maud was in the singing group "The Misfits" with me. She was spunky and outspoken once she got to know you. She entertained us many times with her quick wit and observations about our peculiarities. There was never a dull moment around Maud. She was a wonderful mother to Irvin, Jr.” - Laura Johnston Kohl

“I heard on the news today that her husband just got hold of her remains after 35 years later. An closed funeral home had cremated remains of nine jonestown victims. RIP” - juanitasinnett@yahoo.com
