Lydia: (Cries softly) Oh, Father.
Jones: You ever use Kern’s Peach Nectar. (Repeats to self, incredulous) Kern’s Peach Nectar. I don’t even know some of this stuff that I hear through my mind.
Lydia: Mmm-hmm.
(two people talking off mike, unintelligible)
Lydia: Juices. Juices.
Jones: Juice uh– uh, eat. (unintelligible word)
Lydia: (same word) Mmm-hmm.
Jones: And uh, Best Foods– uh, Best Foods Real uh, Mayonnaise.
Lydia: Not very much (unintelligible phrase). Not very much.
Jones: Uh– Any much is too much.
Lydia: (Laughs) I’m sorry.
Congregation: (Laughs)
Jones: ‘Cause you’ve got a blood pressure problem. You’ve got a heart problem. And I’m gonna give you the release that you need now–
Lydia: (unintelligible)
Jones: I want to tell you– yeah, she’ll tell you what to do, and what to put– uh, well, I can’t say what– there’s something I’m gonna tell you to do for that breaking out that you call shingles, but it’s far worse than that, it’s a blood disease. (Claps hands) (Calls out) Spirit. Life.
Congregation: (Applause)
Jones: I needn’t ask. Her he– her chest feels all right now?
Lydia: Ye– yes.
Jones: No itching anywhere.
Lydia: (Cries) Yes. No–

Jones: Who’s had someone missing, loved one missing since September, year ago. Who lost a brother a year ago in the summer, around the summer, early summer? (Pause) Please listen. Jones: Edith Alexander. All right. 212. Hands clasped. (Pause) (Hums) Keep your hands– I’ve got so many people on the floor now getting protection for their life. Your good heart, it’s gonna save you.

Jones: Hands clasped. You were in a car wreck.

Jones: Good God. You still been having– (Pause) (short laugh) You’ve been having trouble in that uh, that back in the hip area.

Jones: Hands clasped. (Clears throat) There’s been a kind of a sensation to want to cough, too, in your chest.
Edith: Yes.
Jones: This is a heart problem that’s developed that would be giving you the end of your life on the morrow. Spirit of God. Spirit of God.
Congregation: (Stirs)
Jones: But you were merciful enough and trusting enough, and you gave of yourself in my name, so I’m giving in yours. Jump on that hip, now. I want every bit of it to go. (Calls out) Spirit.
Congregation: (Applause)
Jones: You’ve– you’ve had to be in a cast for that, haven’t you? You’ve had to be in a crutch for that.
Edith: Yes. Yes.
Jones: Now there’s not an ache nor pain in your leg, is there?
Edith: No, it isn’t.
Jones: Thank God. And your heart is healed. Bless it–

Man: (Sings)

Jones: Doris. That I was now speaking about. Hands clasped. (Pause) Spirit of God, Mind of God, Body of God, which is most important, the Soul of God. (Pause) Who’s Ruby? (Pause) Your sister. Here, you’re blessed to be in this house today, ‘cause each of these three’s lives are being saved. You’ve got several cockroaches in the house? Love them. Jones: Spirit.
Congregation: (Rhythmic clapping)
Jones: Now. On your breast, there’re tender spots. You understand what I’m saying? And back over here to Doris. Touch your breast. Go up under the arm, up under the same arm I am. Notice this tenderness? (Pause) You notice this tenderness under here? (Pause) I can’t hear you.
Doris: Sometimes.
Jones: Well, I’m talking right here, under the arm.
Doris: (unintelligible)
Jones: Now push in there. (Pause)
Doris: Yes.
Jones: All right, now go down, follow it down into the breast. Follow my hand down into the breast. I command cancer to be removed. I command it. Now. Now press it again. You’ll find no tenderness or soreness this time.
Doris: No.
Jones: It’s all gone. You’ve been protected. Bless you.

Jones: (unintelligible word) This saves your house. Three people would’ve gone up in it, but it won’t be so. Place this hou– within your house, under your bed. You will be saved.

Woman: Yes. Yes.
Jones: Lay it across your chest. It prevents you from a heart attack late tomorrow afternoon. It’ll be released now, in the next three minutes, it’ll be gone. Spirit. Break that cloth. Break it up. Break it up. Send out the aorta. Break it up now, in the name of truth. (Inhales deeply) Is warmth there? Is warmth on your fingers?
Woman: Yes.
Jones: Good. It’s done.
Congregation: (Applause)
Woman: Thank you, Father. Thank you.
Man: (Sings) Where the healing water flow, and I know there is power in his– (tape distortion)
